Honestly I hate how everyone hates luther from tua bc ‘his trauma is less than the others, at least his father loved him’

That’s literally the issue though isn’t it? His father appreciated him and he expected better and then he got sent to the moon for his father’s mistake. He keeps going on about it yeah but he wanted an answer, to him he had to be sent up there for a reason and you don’t see people taking the piss out of allison by her ‘oooh I lied to my husband, manipulated my child and it ruined my life feel sorry for me’. (not attacking allison I love them all) Yet, you’re more than happy to do that to luther.

Ok I get that he went about things the wrong way but so did literally every character at some point you can’t just blame him and ignore everyone else’s mistakes. If you’re so willing to forgive and forget their mistakes, don’t be two faced and do it to him too!

He was trying to help prevent to apocalypse and locked up the person who had almost killed the person he loved. Take away the context and i bet half of you would do that same. Just saying.

Secondly, trauma doesn’t work like that. It manifests in different ways you can’t put value on someone’s trauma, people react different ways and you can’t blame him for searching for answers about why he was sent up there. Especially when he trusted the man who sent him and was obviously hurt when he discovered it was because he hated looking at him. Just because someone went through something more harmful, it doesn’t mean that eradicates another persons trauma so chill take out your hate somewhere else on someone who deserves it more.

It’s not ok to joke about someones bad experience on tumblr until its someone who is showing less admirable symptoms of a traumatic experience. People are so eager to bring awareness to mental health until its the ugly aspects then they run away. It’s disgusing.

also people are always like “it’s okay to talk about trauma,” but luther, who talks a lot about his trauma is the very one being mocked for that same reason. you spend four years isolated on a dark rock after having your body drastically and non-consensually altered and tell me how stable and reasonable your thought process is.
