I also appreciate the way that Zuko didn’t actually change, really, he just gained enough perspective to reconceptualise his experiences in a way that made more sense, and acted accordingly.

he’s still Zuko, he still gets moody and shouty, people are still going to find him insufferable sometimes, and of course he still cares deeply about doing the right and honourable thing, he just has a better idea of what that actually is.
