TWST SHIP TOURNAMENT 2026

Here is the line up for the entire tournament!! Remember that these were by submission-- If your ship isn't included, then remember to submit it next year <3

Anyways, rules.

BE CIVIL. Respect other people and their ships. You don't have to like the pairings. You can filter tags and ignore them entirely if you really, really want. But at the end of the day please just be respectful.

No botting/alt account spam. Any pairings caught cheating will be immediately disqualified.

The tournament is Double-Elimination, meaning the character must lose twice to truly lose. Effectively; the winner of each poll goes into a "Winners bracket" and the loser into the "Loser's bracket". The final round will be the winner's bracket finalist v. The loser's bracket finalist. This is so that every character is properly ranked by true popularity, instead of being affected negatively or positively by the random match ups. These will be done after the the first set of winning rounds are done. Don't worry, I will provide spreadsheets for both brackets after the first round!

The polls will be published in "Rounds". These will alternate between Winners Bracket Round and Losers Bracket Round until we reach the finals.

Chapter one

Open Book

Uuy moved into a new town

It was pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary, just a lot of people with unusual natural hair, but maybe she's just jealous, who knows?

But

What caught Uuy's eyes was a certain individual.

Rook Hunt

Rook shared a block with Uuy, usually when she waits for her dad in the car, Rook walks by right before she's off to school. They never talked, never even made eyes contact…It's weird because his always around this other guy. At some point, out of boredom, you zone out staring at him passing by.

"Dad who's that?" You finally asked

"Oh Vil?" He questioned, getting in the driver's seat

You rolled up your window to avoid getting blind by Vil

"No the guy next to him." You point towards Rook

…

Your dad sat there stunned, his hand frozen over the key.

"Rook…" He repeated for clarity.

"Yes, him." You nodded

"Well, Rook…is a bit strange from what I've heard."

He murmured

"Strange how?" You tilt your head, curiously

"I don't really know myself, but, that's what the neighbors say…"

He sighed, shaking his head

"Really, neighbors dad?" You raised your eyebrows. "What if those are stupid rumors?" you scoffed.

"Just don't mess around and find out."

Your father warned.

You decided to skip your last class, branching to a convince store

Both you and your friend paused at the thick country accent, you turned to your left, seeing those guys again.

Before you could stop your friend she was off, gushing over Rook while you were left with…

"Huh?" You raised eyebrow, slightly confused with her sudden appearance, usually your friend flirting with guys takes ages to finish, until you've had enough, and dragged her away

"Yeah, I have, no idea what his on about…"

She whispered.

Before you could question anything.

"Ah~!!!"

You turned your head, face to face with Rook Hunt

"Your the little, Mademoiselle in that, ah, Car, right?"

You nod

"That's me…" You muttered awkwardly.

He tilts his head smiling warmly at you

"Hmm, so Timide…"

He chuckled

"…" You raise your eyebrow

"Ah…demoiselle seems not to understand me."

Your friend tugs on your sleeve, giving a suable signal for the both you to leave.

"Well what?" He turned to her, and she Immediately shut up.

His hunter green eyes, locked on her, looking her up and down. like hunter eyeing his meal.

Your face twisted in disgust

"Alright, were done here."

You pull your friend away from them, walking into another aisle.

"Don't just go up to random dudes, Idiot."

You sighed.

"Sorry Uuy, they just looked so cool, hehe." she chuckled nervously "Thanks for saving me back there."

"Your welcome, I could feel your skin crawl…" You teased

Your friend rolled her eye, speaking again "Uyy—"

"…Demoiselle…"

You felt a light tap on your shoulder.

"Apologies if I made your friend uncomfortable, I couldn't help myself at the thought of a good conversation."

You didn't speak because the atmosphere slowly descended into awkwardness, But that didn't stop the blond form continuing. "We do live in the same block, Demoiselle. And it's getting a little late, I Rook hunt, will willingly—"

"Enough with the chit chat, the taxi is here."

The purple haired one interrupts, seeming less innocent by the tone in his voice. "Rook are ya taking these girls or not?" he lifts a brow staring at you and your friend. But you can feel the slight shake of your friends head behind you. "Don't do it." She whispers . "I will never hurt you Demoiselle…To lay a hand on such beauty is a sacrilege!" His eyes never left you as Epel let out a quiet scoff. "Fine…But I swear if you hurt us are dad's will kill you!" Your friend tensed at your words, Rook's expression instantly changed as his eyes slid back to her, his bright smile reached his eyes, but the sight caused an unsettling shiver to run down your body leaving a pit in your stomach. It almost looks like his having a silent conversation with your friend, While you quickly catch your friend before her legs buckled. "What!? Uyy!!" She exclaimed, her fingers tightening on your arms. "It's getting late we have no choice…And it seems They're smart enough not to hurt us." Your eyes glanced between Epel and Rook, You knew the both of your Dad's weren't coming by now, and Rook was hell bent on taking you home right now. You seem to catch Rook eyeing your Friend. "Stop looking at my friend." You point him sternly. "Ah, non, non, I am not interested." He raised his arm in defense. "What?" you blinked in confusion. "I'm simply not interested in your friend…Not my type." You didn't believe him not one bit. "If you say so…Hunter of beauty."

In the car it felt extremely awkward. Epel sat in the back seat with Rook along with your friend, you sat in the passengers seat, next to the Driver. Epel most of the time talked with the driver. "Good job Ace." He chuckled mockingly. The driver stiffened gripping the wheel. "Shut up." He hissed "I'm only doing this for a short amount of time, Asshole." The orange hair grumbled. You leaned onto your seat tuning them out while gazing out the window. You didn't realize the hunter tracked your every move, down to the flutter of your eyelashes and the way heartbeat made a double tempo, Rook's eyes watched everything. His hands were place on your friends thigh, keeping here aware and steady, unable to allow her the daydream he gave you. Her eyes opened wide as soon as she felt his hands on her once everyone got into the car, but for a long time he hadn't let go and your friend slowly realized his intention. She couldn't call for help as much as she wanted to, Rook's silent whispers in her ear, and the sheer iron grip on her thigh was clear, "Hmm, what fearful expression you possess, beauté! one hundred point! You feel it don't you? I can take you away from her, and do whatever I want with you while your helpless." He whispered the warning. "Ah, that pained looking your eyes make my heart flutter with joy at the entertainment, While I'm gone wait for me at my place, or else."

Rook's target is you, but he likes to play around and break a few things before he reaches you and your friend was the lucky one who got hit by his arrow, unfortunately saving you in here expense. Rook didn't care about your friend nor her reaction or the pained expression she carried right now, He is a monster un-cable of love, affection, pity, remorse, or forgiveness, He doesn't love your friend or anyone else neither did he wish to keep a 'thing' like her. He only wants to consume his prey, and she was deemed the meat on his plate, once he kills and eat her along with your love ones, your an open book he'll love to read, This is why he's patient with you, His preserved little prey~
