First part

i didnt think people would want a second part for the sylus thought and i just came back from work to see all that 😭😭 thank u so much for the support yall !!!

Potential ends that i’m thinking about expanding on, inspired by yall in the comments :

The premise for all of them is that EVER is the one who kidnaps reader and the reason why she’s so domestic and non-combative is to get away from the memories of EVER.

1) Hunter MC is ironically the one to save reader from EVER before Sylus even knew she was kidnapped and it’s finally a win for the gays no doomer yuri here (yet at least)

2) Reader goes off the rails and becomes an EVER puppet like Caleb and they end up working together only for MC and Sylus to confront the two of them and oooh angst bc MC and Sylus realise it’s too late to save them both…

3) By the time EVER is done with reader, Sylus is yet to realise despite the twins asking how she is and telling him they haven’t seen her lately. She ends up in Akso Hospital bc EVER dumps her on the border of Linkon and lo and behold our dearest Doctor Li comes in to help us. Dunno if i’d make Zayne end game or just kill off reader in this end though…

angsty thought... sylus x non-mc!reader thought... probably ooc sylus but anyways

non-mc!reader who is sylus' partner in the current timeline but isn't a fighter, very much a domestic stay at home spouse who always looks after sylus and the twins... even giving mephie some love too... everyone loves you for the normalcy and peace you give them; the way the n109 zone just feels like home with you... that is, until mc comes into the picture...

it starts with sylus being less responsive, less attentive. he might be in the room with you but he's mentally off far, far away. he won't tell you what's wrong, no matter how much you try to coax it out of him; he won't budge. how could he tell you, his spouse in this life, that he's finally found his soulmate again? you try asking the twins if they know anything, the two boys looking sheepish when they admit that sylus has been working with mc... mc, who's a hunter sylus is desperately trying to resonate with... the twins feel terrible breaking the news to you but you're like their parent and they can't bring themselves to lie.

it gets to a point when you notice small things; mephie no longer follows you around during the day to keep an eye on you, the twins are no longer stationed at the house... and sylus? he's with her. he's got them looking out for her, while you're alone in a big lonely mansion. it's only a matter of time before his enemies realise he's left his dear spouse wide open and ready for the taking... and you can only wonder if he cares enough to notice that you've been taken as you're in and out of consciousness in this stupid black van, going god knows where.

thinking about zayne, our dearest doctor li, coming home from one of those days... back to back surgeries and consultations, forcing him to work far, far later than either of you imagined... thinking about him coming home from one of those days to you, his darling wife, and a homemade cake. we all know he loves a good dessert, but this one? baked by his beloved with that extra special touch just for him... hint, the secret ingredient is love!

when he finally comes home, you're still awake and waiting for him... and the cake you baked is sitting on the table, safely covered and practically taunting him. the way you look at him gives him butterflies, watching you immediately hop up to greet him even though it's well past the time he promised he'd be back. you 're so understanding it makes him feel bad that you've stayed up this late but you're quick to hush him and get him to sit down so you can make him a tea and get him a slice of cake. he might've had one of the worst days ever but he would do it all over again if it ends like this; with him and you sitting together watching some silly movie while eating your baking

thinking about re2 leon... his big puppy eyes as he looks up at you first thing in the morning... the type of man who embodies 'a man who yearns is a man who earns', all for you... like imagine waking up to him looking at you like you hung the moon with those big baby blues of his... he's so sweet, hugging you like you're his security blanket and nuzzling into you to get a whiff of your body wash... yeah, he thinks. this is home.
