Somebody yesterday reblogged every reply that was like ‘I actually do shave for me! Body hair is yuckyy :(’ on my JOKE about how everyone should have hairy armpits and I’m sick of seeing nothing but hairless women on tv with ‘you’re so valid <3 it’s okay’ FUCK OFFFFF and somebody responded with ‘thank you I really needed to hear that’ come ON. if you need to be told it’s okay to shave turn on the tv. Watch ads on YouTube for ten minutes I promise you’ll get one that tells you how empowering it is to shave. My god. Why are people so obsessed with feminists validating their every choice. I don’t care if you shave. Most of my (straight lol) friends shave and obviouslyyy I don’t think any less of them but talking on a large scale the fact that shaving and waxing etc is so ubiquitous and seen as mandatory to the point where everybody pretends that only men naturally have body hair is EXHAUSTING.

Have you formed your own opinion??#Go question WHY you feel or believe certain things about your body or what society tells you is “normal"#Go challenge ideas and believe systems that you never dared to question bc they were instilled in you from birth #i refuse to believe that any woman who actually dares to challenge her believes about body hair comes to the conlusion that it's unhygenic #or yucky or “not feminine”. If it grows on a female body it's feminine!

Sometimes i feel like my depression is nothing but a ghost haunting me. And from time to time i seem to recognise myself in it and i begin to wonder whether i'm my own ghost haunting me, a long dead part of myself that can't let go because the rest of me is still alive.
