Hello Tumblr!! Long time no see! Thought I’d do a bit of a life update, not that many of my followers will use Tumblr anymore.

So I this time last year I was days away from being sectioned and placed in the Priory. Luckily I wasn’t in there long, and was eventually discharged just before Christmas. Moving forward a year, I am in my second hypomanic episode of Biopolar this year and living life! Despite the mania, I am doing a lot lot better. Granted, I’ve been sectioned by the police a few times this year but I’m getting there slowly, with help from mania. I’ve moved out into a flat on my own, I have a new job which I love and I’m genuinely enjoying life more. So that’s it from me, not much else to say! Apart from I still LOVE HBC and my love for her will never ever go away. She’s incredible! Over and out x

[Helena’s] is a brilliant and touching performance that no doubt was assisted by the fact that Bonham Carter met the Princess herself on several occasions. “She was a lifelong friend of my uncle Mark,” she explains. “He was in the Grenadiers, I think, and he guarded Margaret and Elizabeth at Windsor. And then they met, and I think there was a romance. He was really dashing…”

The couple ended up as friends, and Bonham Carter recalls attending parties as a child at her uncle’s home in the presence of the Princess. Years later, after the fire at Windsor Castle, she was invited there to celebrate its restoration. “Margaret was on her own with a drink in her hand and she talked to me. She said, “Oh, Helena, you are getting better, aren’t you, at acting,”’ Bonham Carter recalls. "Typical Margaret!”
