I’m thinking about a story involving House and Wilson as the parents of two young children named Corinne and Elliot.
I think at some point I will write it and publish it on AO.
Here’s how I imagine them:
Corinne House-Wilson (about 5 yo)
looks like Wilson (she’s his biological daughter): she has light brown wavy hair and greenish eyes
has lots of freckles
Is kind and sensitive
Usually mediates the little fights between her dads
Is sarcastic like House
Is really smart and has a strong sense of justice
loves to cook with Wilson and listen to House telling her weird stories
Loves dinosaurs
Has a stuffed purple dinosaur
Elliot House-Wilson (about 3 yo)
looks like House (he’s his biological son)
Has short dark hair
Has ice-blue eyes
Is paler than his sister
Is very shy and clumsy
Loves kittens
Is emphatic and kind like Wilson
Loves science
Loves to cuddle with Wilson and House when there’s a thunderstorm
Wants to become a doctor like his fathers
Has a stuffed lion
I also thought about a different timeline for this AU where Wilson and House are younger and have met when Wilson was still in college.
When they met
Wilson was a junior in college (he was 20)
House was already a resident in nephrology (26)
Wilson was doing a hospital internship during summer at the hospital House worked at
House was already known for being a jerk (and a genius)
Wilson was both impressed and intimidated by House
House was intrigued by Wilson’s awkwardness and sweetness
Wilson was an eager-to-please kid (can’t change my mind)
House was supervising a case that Wilson was assigned to observe
When they got together
Wilson was in med school (he was 22)
House was a fully licensed dick, and also he was board-certified in nephrology, ‘cause he’s a fucking genius (he was 28)
It first started as a one-night stand
Their relationship was a secret due to the professional hierarchy (also ‘cause House didn’t want other people to think he had a heart)
When they got married
Wilson was in his final year of med school (he was 24)
House started his fellowship in infectious disease (he was 29-30)
They both wanted to propose but Wilson was faster
It was a private civil ceremony with just some friends (Cuddy and Stacy included) and their families
When they had their first daughter
Wilson was a resident in oncology (he was 28)
House was deep into diagnostic medicine and running a small team
Wilson has been bringing up the idea for years but he never pressured House
House was initially scared of ruining a child due to his own traumas and didn’t want to ruin their “sexy times”.
House changed his mind after a case of a small child poisoned due to poor judgment (the kid had two dads)
When they had their second son
Wilson was 30
House was 36
Corinne was about 1 year and a half
House brought it up and when it happened Wilson nearly choked on his noodles
Bonus: Corinne asked many times for a brother/sister
