on bisexuality
hi hello may I please have ur attention
Iād just like to say a really big FUCK YOU to everyone who thinks bisexuality is gross, or selfish, or invalid, or anything other than beautiful.
I think what really gets me is the people in the LGBTQ+ community who reject bisexuals. First of all, we are the B hi hello pls love us we just want to be accepted, just like you. We want to be seen as valid, just like you. We want rights and justice and kindness, just like you. But acronyms aside, donāt we advocate for acceptance? Isnāt that what weāre all about? Weāre a group of people with similar/common ground who banded together for support, for love. We seek kindness in each other because we canāt find it anywhere else. This community is not supposed to be oppressive. It is not supposed to be tyrannical or exclusive or mean. If you identify anywhere in the LGBTQ+ spectrum, you belong here, and you can find love here. Isnāt that what this is all about?
So why are some people being little fucking bitches and treating bisexuals like theyāre inferior?
We are not selfish. We are not unkind or grotesque.
We are valid, and we deserve love. We deserve to love and to be loved.Ā All of us are in this community because weāre different;Ā thatās why weāve banded together. And Iāll be goddamned if that isnāt what makes us great - what makes us special and so so precious.
I can deal with people outside of the LGBTQ+ community bashing us. It fucking sucks, but Iāve been dealing with it, and I can continue to do so. There will be a day when cis and het folk all accept us, and I know that today is not that day. I can wait for it.
But when people in my own community think itās okay to bash me for who I am, I have to draw the line. I wonāt stand for that, and no one else should have to either. And by no one else, I mean no one else. Bisexuals are not the only ones getting heat. Asexuals get bashed by people in the communityĀ all the time, Iāve seen it with pansexuals, and Iām sure thereās more. But I digress.
If we arenāt holding each other up, we are dragging each other down. Thatās not what weāre about.
Essentially, Iām trying to convey a message to all LGBTQ+ folk who invalidate and alienate bisexuals: I accept you and I think you are valid, but I do not love you. I cannot love you. Not in the way I love everyone else in this community. Not in the way I love supporters. You donāt deserve that. LGBTQ+ people can be scumbags too. Donāt forget that.
One last time, F U C KĀ Y O U
(feel free to add anything you think I might have missed, or just share your opinion. I wrote this while my mind was shrouded by a fiery rage, so feel free to correct/add anything. please please reblog to spread awareness.)
white people need to start raising content creators who are poc instead of writing our stories for us. like either do your damn research or donāt write the story. i constantly see white people trying to have ārepresentationā and 90% of the time theyāre caricatures of what a poc is.
white people consistently gravitating towards another white person telling the story of a brown person and giving themselves a pat on the back for basically telling their white experience through a brown mouth. white people, please understand yall are part of the problem and you need to be conscious of the work youāre consuming and making.
then thereās poc content creators giving accurate deep portrayals of their experience who get little to no exposure and whoās legitimate stories get swept under the rug.
this is about latinx, indigenous, black, mixed, asian, and other racial/ethnic minorities (espeically those who are disabled and/or lgbtq+)
itās really telling when a white people scrolls past this, so reblog. ask questions. start a dialogue dont just ignore and act like youāre the exception to this.

It didn't occur to me some people may not know this WIC is DEMONSTRABLY restrictive, especially compared to snap. WIC checks are for specific things only please please do not take what little they can get.
WIC Stands for Women Infants and Children, just FYI. Like, you should be decent to everyone, but I just want to absolutely drive home that WIC benefits are specifically for young, developing humans. Just in case your compassion needs that last little nudge to kick in
As someone whoās actually homeless I can tell you that my dad and I are experiencing these issues first hand, and Iāve been trying to raise awareness about this for weeks. Most people donāt seem to listen, many others just donāt care.
Homeless people are seen as the lowest rung of society and weāre treated like weāre no better than garbage. Thereās no real help for people like us, which is why so many who end up on the streets just stay on the streets, because they canāt get out of the cycle of homelessness and suffering and canāt get help to break it
Remember also that with many places closing their inner dining areas now, hundreds of thousands of homeless people have no safe place to use the bathroom. This will lead to them using the sidewalks and streets to relieve themselves (what else can they do?) which will cause diseases far worse than Covid19 to fester and spread amongst the people and into the cities. This also means that many homeless may not have access to free, clean water, and may have no way to get more water due to everyone hoarding it in stores and leaving only the most expensive types behind (if not on sale, brands like Fiji and SmartWater can start at $3 a bottle, or more, and many homeless canāt afford that)
Please donāt ignore the homeless!! We are humans and we deserve compassion and kind treatment! If you see someone struggling offer them some water or food or something else of necessity. You may be the one person to literally save their life
why is the sims so addictive but only for a short amount of time??? like all u do is play the sims u donāt sleep u donāt eat itās like youāre on drugs for around two days and then forget about it for the next whole year
