Hey Lovelies! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything. Been going through a massive writers block/ having no inspiration lately. Will hopefully be writing/posting again soon! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding 💜
Levi Ackerman x Fem!reader, Erwin Smith xFem!Reader
In which you are the girlfriend of the late Erwin Smith. Levi has loved you for years, but has never had the courage to tell you, until now…
Slow burn/eventual love story. Heavy angst, spoilers for season three and four. Fluff, mentions of injury/blood. Depictions of violence and foul language. Might be some time line inconsistencies. One sided love/kinda love triangle. Will be multiple parts.
Erwin Smith, the commander of the Survey Corps, was dead. The man who would have been your husband, was dead. This last expedition was his very last, and part of you knew it would be. Part of you knew that no matter how much you fought against this enemy, one of you was going to end up dead. You had always thought it was going to be you, not him.
Levi Ackerman, humanity’s strongest soldier, the man that let Erwin Smith die, was the man who made the hardest decision that day in Shiganshina. Letting his commander and best friend live, or a young cadet with a bright future. That choice still plagues him, and he sometimes finds himself wondering what the world would be life if he had chosen any differently. Levi Ackerman’s choice affected everyone, especially you, the woman he so desperately loves. The woman he has loved since he met her all those years ago when he first joined the scouts.
Years Ago…
“Hey L/n, ya hear about the new cadets from the underground.” Hange asked as you both walked through the empty barracks.
“Yeah, I wonder why Erwin would allow that.” You questioned out loud. “Must’ve had a good reason though.” You added, hoping to get a chance to see those new cadets in action.
“Yeah, you would agree with anything Erwin has to say though, dontcha.” Hange joked, nudging your shoulder.
“N-no! Not everything!” You defended, feeling a familiar heat on your cheeks.
“Whatever, all I’m saying is why haven’t you guys made anything official.” They replied with a shrug.
“It’s…complicated.” You sighed
“What’s complicated about it?” Hange pushed.
“Erwin is the complication. He’s so perfect at everything he does…except his feelings.” You replied, stopping to look at Hange. “Our lives are so different from normal people.” You explained, feeling your heart clench at your unfortunate reality.
“I get that.” Hange replied. “But I still think you both deserve to be happy, even though this world is absolute shit.” They spoke, a spark of enthusiasm in their eyes.
“Yeah, I feel the same. But I don’t really know how Erwin feels about all of that.” You whispered.
“After all those new cadets have settled in, I really think you should tell Erwin all of this.” Hange suggested as the two of you began your walk once more.
“You know, I think I will.” You smiled as you and Hange continued to your destination.
The Next Week…
Levi knew he would kill this self righteous prick one way or the other. Order or not, this man was going to die and he would be the one to do it. Erwin Smith had dragged him and his friends from the underground staying that their unique set of skills would be “beneficial” for humanity. They would serve the military or face serious jail time, and Levi knew he couldn’t let his friends go through something like that.
So far, the rest survey corps weren’t all that bad. Most of them kept to themselves or tried to strike up some simple conversation with them. It was mostly Farlan who would respond as Levi didn’t feel much like talking and Isobel didn’t whatever Levi did.
The three of them were scheduled to meet with with Erwin to discuss their roles in the upcoming expedition. Levi led the way, making sure to look out for any signs of trouble. As they made their way into the semi-spacious room, Levi immediately took notice of a familiar, irritating face, but was surprised to see someone he hadn’t seen around yet.
“I understand how you feel, I really do, but I think you and I need to face the facts-“ Erwin spoke to the woman next to him on the forest green colored couch. “Ah, Levi, Isobel, Farlan.” Erwin nodded announcing their arrival.
“Smith.” Levi spat, ignoring the strange conversation Erwin was having with the woman whose face he still hadn’t seen.
“This is Y/n L/n, my second in command and important member of my squad.” Erwin spoke, your face now fully pointed towards Levi and his friends.
Levi took a sharp inhale at your gaze on his. You were…lovely. Your e/c eyes were slightly red as though you were on the verge of crying. Though, your face seemed neutral and professional, like you had been conditioned to mask your true emotions. It made him think about himself and the shitty things he had gone through during his time in the Underground. You weren’t wearing your jacket as it was placed on the back of the couch, giving him the impression that you were not here on official duty.
“Good to finally meet you three!” You smiled, though it didn’t reach your eyes, the ones Levi couldn’t help by stare into.
“Nice to meet you.” Isobel spoke, trying her best to look as confident as she could.
“Greetings.” Farlan beamed, finding you pretty.
Levi still didn’t say a word, even when you greeted him for the second time. He was too captivated by your eyes and how they seemed to tell exactly how you were feeling. He felt foolish for feeling this way about a woman he hadn’t even spoken a single word to, but he couldn’t help but feel bad for you even though he knew next to nothings about you.
“Charming as ever, aren’t we Levi.” Erwin’s deep voice spoke out as he stood from his spot.
“Eat shit, Smith.” Levi spat, momentarily taking his eyes off yours and looking at the man in front of him with pure rage in his heart.
“No can do, I’m afraid.” Erwin joked, giving you a sideways glance. “Do you wish to stay for the debriefing?” Erwin asked, as you snapped your head towards him. Levi immediately noticed the way Erwin’s eyes softened as he looked at you.
“No, I don’t think I’m going to be much help at the moment.” You replied, your voice flat.
“As you wish.” Erwin sighed, scratching the back of this neck.
You nodded to the three as you began to leave, taking in the man called Levi, the most. He was short for a man, but you simply thought that maybe he hadn’t received the best nourishment as a child. Especially given where he came from. As much as your heart hurt for his situation, you couldn’t help but pity your own, as you took Hange’s advice and talked to Erwin. Unfortunately for you, it went exactly as you thought it would: badly.
“You his girlfriend or something?” Levi asked, shocking everyone in the room, including himself, at the strange question. However, you simply stared at him before narrowing your eyes to Erwin.
“Or something.” You stated, agitation lacing your tone, making Erwin frown.
You stared at Erwin for a moment, eyes narrowed, before looking back at Levi. You couldn’t help but stare into those intense grey eyes of his. The stories they told, and the horrors they saw made you shiver slightly. However, you knew that he’d never seen one of those filthy creatures outside the walls. And despite the freedom the outside gave, you wish you could’ve told Erwin to lay off these poor souls. But despite your anger, you knew there was a valid reason for their being here, and you were excited to see it. So, with one more nod, you left, among your way to the stables to check on the status of your horse.
———
“We’ll that was boring as hell!” Isobel yawned, walking in between Levi and Farlan.
“You said it! The only thing that made it a bit interesting was seeing that pretty girl, eh Levi!” Farlan joked, nudging Levi on his shoulder.
“Oh yeah! What was up with that!” Isobel chirped
“Must be his girlfriend.” Farlan suggested.
“She isn’t.” Levi muttered, making the other two raise their eyebrows in confusion.
“How do you know?” Farlan asked, genuinely confused.
“She said she wasn’t.” Levi spoke
“Nah! They are totally a thing!” Isobel disagreed
“No way in hell would a woman like that be with a piece of shit like Smith.” Levi spat, glaring at the sky.
“Woah, whoah dude, chill out. Why do you care so much!” Farlan asked
“If Erwin has a someone in his life like that, it will be so much harder to kill him.” Isobel spoke before Levi could.
“I guess that’s true, and she is his second in command, after all. Guess we are going to have to find a way to separate them when the time comes.” Farlan suggested.
“That’s the tricky part, but we still have time to come up with a viable solution.” Levi sighed, not wanting to involve you in this at all.
———
As you made your way back to your room you can up with the realization that your conversation was a complete waste of time. You felt as though you should’ve known what Erwin would say. It wasn’t surprising in the least, that he dismissed your question entirely, asking if you both could speak after the next expedition. However, the last time you tried to ask him something similar, he had said the exact same thing.
Sighing, you fell straight onto your freshly cleaned bed. You breathed in the familiar floral scent that you had hand selected, and tried not to cry. You desperately loved Erwin Smith, and he had told you that he loved you too. But, that didn’t change that he was the absolute worst when it came to fully expressing how he felt. It was incredibly frustrating to love a man like that, but you simply couldn’t help who your heart yearned for.
“Fuck this!” You whined, getting up.
You decided that the best course of action was to simply clean. Truthfully, you had no reason to, as your room was spotless as usual. But you needed to clear your head and this was one of the main ways you could. So, picking out your items you got to work. After some time, you found yourself pushing your problems with Erwin aside, and instead your mind was fixed on the raven haired man and his intense grey eyes.
Little did you know, that he too, has his thoughts strangely fixed on you…

In which you and Bucky talk about his feelings about his best friend Steve…
Angst, fluff, Bucky has unresolved anger towards Steve, established relationship.
“You gonna tell me what’s on your mind.” You spoke sitting across from Bucky.
“There’s nothing to tell.” He muttered, avoiding your gaze.
“You’ve been sulking all week, honey” You replied softly.
Bucky didn’t reply nor did he meet your gaze. Instead his mind went to his best friend, Steve. As happy as he was that Steve got the life he wanted, he couldn’t help but feel angry. Angry that Steve chose to abandon him.
“Is this about Steve?” You asked, as though you read his mind.
“Yeah.” He replied after a long pause.
“What about him?” You pressed, getting up from your seat across from him and sitting next to Bucky.
“It’s…nothing.” He sighed, rubbing his eyes with his flesh hand.
“It’s not nothing if it’s bothering you so much, Bucky.” You pressed even further.
“Why the hell are you pushing so much?” Bucky snapped, making you frown.
You said nothing, simply looking at him. Your hand touched his good shoulder, rubbing circles on it. Bucky’s body seemed to relax a bit, giving you the confidence you needed to press the situation one more time.
“Honey, please tell me what’s hurting you.” You spoke, scooting closer, placing your hand on his cheek, making him lean into your touch.
“He…he left…” Bucky spoke painfully. “I was gone for five years, I don’t even remember being gone. But he just left me, like my absence didn’t bother him.” Bucky ranted, a few tears slipping. “Like I don’t matter to him.” He added.
Your heart shattered at this confession. You knew Bucky had some unresolved feelings about Steve, but you had no idea it was this. However, you completely understood where he was coming from, you had felt some anger for Steve too.
“I’m so sorry.” You whispered, wrapping your arms wound Bucky, slightly pulling him towards you.
Bucky responded by resting in the crook of your neck, letting you hold him. He breathed your scent, letting it comfort him. Bucky was so tired and so angry at being angry. His years fell freely now, making the shirt you were wearing wet. You didn’t care, you were just so relieved he was opening up to you.
“I’m so sorry.” You said again, rubbing his back and kissing his temple softly.
“Why, was I not good enough for him?” Bucky sobbed, holding onto you tightly.
“You’re more than good enough!” You reassured. Bucky then made eye contact with you, looking completely defeated.
“Promise me you won’t leave me like he did. Please!” Bucky pleated.
“You’re stuck with me honey, I’m not going anywhere.” You spoke, your own tears now falling.
Bucky said nothing, instead deciding to sink further into your comforting body. You knew his unresolved feelings for his best friend were strong, but it truly shattered your heart to know how much Steve had hurt your Bucky. How leaving without spending much time with him, shattered any self confidence he had at the time. How no matter how much healing Bucky does, the would of Steve Rogers absence would leave a lasting impact on Bucky’s life. But thankfully, you were there to pick up the pieces that Bucky couldn’t, and you always would be.

Could you make a Crocodile X Fem!Reader with the prompt “I’m pregnant”, please ?
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
Yes! I’d love to!💜
Nausea
Crocodile xfem!pregnant reader
In which you tell your husband, Crocodile, some good news….
Fluff, established relationship, Crocodile is out of character, pregnancy, slight angst. Set post time skip.
For weeks now all you felt was a subtle ache in your stomach and your inability to keep any solid food down. You felt nauseous and part of your body ached unexpectedly. Crocodile was concerned as he noticed how much paler your complexion had been and made sure to tell the cook to make more high iron and easy to digest foods, hoping that would easy whatever was wrong with you. And as much as the effort was appreciated, that didn't seem to ease your stomach.
You had also noticed that your monthly bleeding hadn't started either and that you were, in fact, very late. Butterflies filled your stomach at the realization of why you could be sick. As reasonable as it sounded, you and Crocodile had been so careful...except for that...one time.
"Shit." You groaned, making your way to the bathroom in your master bedroom.
Thankfully, you had a box, tucked away for times just like this. You crouched down and grabbed the box from underneath the sink. You shakily took out the pregnancy test and knew it was now or never. Crocodile was in a meeting at the moment, so now really was a perfect time, so you could have a moment for yourself.
———
Positive. The test was positive; you were pregnant with your husband's baby, your first baby. So many emotions were swirling in your mind as you looked at those two very prominent lines. You were pregnant, you were going to be a mother, and you finally knew why you had been feeling so sick all these weeks. But with all that relief, you still needed a way to tell your husband, the father of your child.
After a little while, you decided to take another test, knowing that your husband would definitely need more than one test to be convinced. You had been married to this man for years and yet telling him good new such as this made you feel incredibly nervous. You had no idea whether he would be happy or not, considering he is generally against the idea of children, considering the life the two of you live. Although, you remember the times Crocodile would randomly come up with baby names, saying how strong the names sounded and after he said them, he would go straight back to the previous conversation, as though it never happened at all. Or how when the two of you would go on walks together and how he would actually smile at the children playing in the streets.
You smiled at those memories, knowing that you were most likely the only person who got to see him like that. Crocodile had always been so sweet to you, despite his naturally gruff nature, and now you hoped the baby would see that Crocodile too.
Looking at the clock, you took notice that it was the usual time that your husband stopped his work for the day. Quickly shoving the now clean tests in a small bag, you made your way to his office at the end of the long hallway. Your pace was fast, and your excitement and nerves mixing. You knocked on his door awaiting his reply.
"Come in." His gruff voice called out from behind the door.
"It's me!" You called out, opening the big wooden door leading to his office.
"I'm nearly done my love; I was a bit behind today." Crocodile spoke, looking up from his work to look at you.
"No worries!" You said, taking a seat on one of the two plush chairs in front of his desk.
"Is everything alright?" He asked, eyes not looking up from his papers.
"I-" You started, feeling the anxiety of the situation, but without further hesitation. "I'm pregnant!" You blurted out, cringing at your own hastiness.
Crocodile's head shot up so fast, you were surprised the man didn't get whiplash. He stared at you like a deer in headlights. His mouth opened and closed as though he wanted to speak, but for once, had nothing to say about the matter. Without speaking yourself, you placed the two pregnancy tests onto an empty part of his desk, blue lines clearly visible. He carefully picked both of them up with his ring covered hand and examined them as though he were deciphering some ancient relic. You noticed his chest puffing in and out slowly, clearly taking deep breaths.
"I took those this morning." You informed him. "I guess we weren't as careful as we thought we were." You joked, trying to calm your own nerves down.
"You're pregnant." Crocodile spoke slowly, finally looking at you, eyes shining with something you couldn't quite piece together.
"Yes, it would appear so. It also explains why I have been feeling so sick recently." You commented, absentmindedly stroking your belly.
"I'm going to be a father. "Crocodile whispered as a small smile appeared.
"Y-yes. Is that okay with you?" You questioned, smiling a little yourself.
"How could it not be?" He asked, looking slightly puzzled now.
"Our lives are complicated and dangerous; I guess I just thought that you might've been against the idea." You replied honestly.
To your surprise, Crocodile stood from his chair, so big it could've been a throne, and walked around to the front of his desk. His mighty height dwarfed you as you craned your neck to look at him. Thankfully, the pain didn't last long enough to become a problem as he knelt beside you. Your eyes widened at the sight, his body now only slightly taller than yours. Gingerly he placed his massive hand on your cheek and stroked it so softly, it made your heart swell.
"You are pregnant with our child, my love. No matter what happens in this life, I will protect this child. Just as I have always protected you." Crocodile proclaimed, making the tears you didn't know you had spill down your face. He wiped them for you, making your smile widen. "You have made me very happy." Crocodile added, kissing your damp cheek.
"Thank goodness." You cried out. "For some reason, I thought you might not have wanted this." You spoke, nuzzling into the warmth of his palm.
"I only want this if it's you I'm doing it with. No one else is worthy enough or holds my affections." Your husband replied. "Though, I suppose now those affections will be spread a little to our child." He chuckled, feeling grateful.
"No one else is worthy nor has my affections quite like you do too." You spoke. Crocodile smiled at this before speaking one more.
"You seem tired my darling, care to join me as I finish up work?" He questioned.
"Naturally." You smiled, reaching your arms up.
Crocodile then carefully picked you up from the chair and carried you to his own. As he sat, he positioned you so in a way he knew was comfortable for you. You then snuggled into him as he continued his work, thankful to have such a caring husband and soon to be father.
Thank you so much for reading!💜 Sorry this one is so short!

Bad Habits
Red-Haired Shanks x Fem!Wife!reader
In which you’ve had enough with your husbands drinking problem…
Angst, martial argument, tooth rotting fluff. Set sometime before the main events of One Piece.
On The Sea...
A grand celebration was at and on the glorious ship owned The Red-haired Pirates. Booze, meats, desserts, fresh sea air, and foul-smelling men filled the air. The crew just got through with a successful pillage on an island known for its cruelty. All the crew had to do to show they meant business was simply show up. The major of the island practically gave all of their fortune over to the pirates. Weak-willed man indeed, didn't even attempt to fight back against those that wish to take from them, even if they were infamous pirates.
The captain of such infamous crew was the worst offender amount them in terms of the sheer amount of alcohol he consumed that night. He lost count of the mugs filled to the brim with ale. Shanks was a man feared by most that came across him, save for his main crew mates and his very loving, very worried, wife.
You did partake in the fun, but you never drank quite as much as your husband and fellow crewmates. Instead, you made sure no one fell over the ship while they were...well. Just then Hongo began to fall backwards towards the ocean. With quick reflexes, you managed to catch him just before he fell to his demise.
"Dammit Hongo! Again!" You snapped as you pushed him back onto the boat with a loud thud.
"Ooouch, y/nnnnn that was meann!" Hongo wined into the floor before falling asleep.
"Ships doctor my ass." You grumbled, as you took off your coat and gently placed it over his awkwardly positioned body.
Then, out of the corner of you eye you noticed your husband downing yet another giant mug of ale. Your heart sunk into your stomach at the sight. Worried filled you and before you could think of anything else, you decided to confront him. As you stomped over, you saw his eyes had made their way to your figure, looking you up and down with that devastating smirk of his. You nearly forgot why you were walking over in the first place until Shanks filled yet another mug up of ale.
"Hello my loveee." Shanks slurred as he began to drink. his arm was reached out beckoning you to sit on his lap like you usually did.
"Shanks, I know this is a party, but I think you need to start slowing down with the booze." You spoke calmly.
"You're absolutely right darling; this is a party!" Shanks exclaimed, taking a long swig of ale. "And because of that, I'll drink as much as I damn well please." He added, giving you a wink.
"Except, you've had more than enough, and I know you're just going to drink in the morning too!" You bit back.
"So, what's your dammed problem. Thought you were supposed to be my wife, and wives are supposed to... support their husbands." Shanks groaned. The other crewmates were all staring at the two of you now, with nervous expressions on their faces.
The nerve of this man to say that shit to you. "Excuse me?" You spat. "Shanks I do support you, but if you keep up drinking like this, you're going to kill yourself." You argued
"Honey, you need to calm down, I'm fine! I'm one of the strongest pirates on the sea!" Shanks bit back, putting his drink down and getting up from his stool, towering over you.
"Shanks, I'm not telling you to stop, I'm just asking you to calm your drinking down." You softly grabbed his hand and looking at him with pleading eyes.
With a vicious move, he ripped his hand out of yours and gave you a scowl. You stepped back in fear at his expression, feeling yourself shrink. "Your concern is not needed, you may be my wife, but I won't let you boss me around." Shanks spoke in strange seriousness.
"Dammit Shanks, I'm just concerned! You're going to ruin your body with that stuff. I only-"
"This conversation is over, quit being a fucking stick in the mud and leave me be. You're ruining the party." Shanks warned, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
"I... okay." You whispered, pulling your gaze away from his.
Without much delay, you decided to go to a secluded part of the ship. As you walked through the crowed of concerned eyes, your own were stinging with tears that had not yet spilled. Whispers flooded your ears, but you did not hear them. As you got to the far side of the ship, you sat down and curled yourself up. The cold of the night now evident to you without the warmth of your fellow crewmates nearby.
The stars seemed to flicker in the heavens above you. All was calm here on the lonely sea. Too long had you sat underneath those endless balls of light, tears streaming down your now puffy face. Your body seemed numb to the chill now as your mind was occupied with thoughts of a little while ago. You and Shanks had always had such an open relationship in terms of your communication, yet lately, it's almost like he's trying to keep you out. Like he's pushing you away and it'll only be a matter of time before he cuts you away entirely. You rubbed the ring on your finger, a brutal reminder of who you thought was slipping away.
Soon, vibrant colors began peeking out above the horizon, making you lift your weary head to see them. A lazy smile graced your face as the sun began to rise in front of you, making the once chill you felt begin to melt away. Finally, you decided to get up and begin your tasks around the ship. Despite the argument you had and the impending doom you felt, you knew that without you this ship would be pure chaos. You knew that your presence here was important even if your husband didn't see it. So, after a few much needed stretches and grounding deep breaths, you made your way to the front of the ship.
———
"Y/N!" Lucky stuttered at your seemingly confident form making its way into the kitchen.
"Good morning to you too, Lucky." You greeted as you began to tackle the mountain of dishes from last night.
"Yes, good morning. We didn't see you again last night after... you know." Lucky spoke, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"I needed some...time to myself." You replied, trying not to think too much last night, hoping your confidence would last until, at least, lunch.
"I get that." he sighed, glancing at your back. "It's not really my business, but what the captain said was just his drunk-self talking. I hope you know that." Lucky said, making his way to help dry the dishes next to you.
Your face felt hot and the confidence you felt just moments before seemed to disappear with just a few mere words from your friend. Tears began to spill into the sink below you, your vison becoming blurry. Dropping the sponge, you held yourself, trying to calm the ache in your heart. Your teeth began to clench, not from anger, but from how frustrated you were at the situation and your lack of self-control. Lucky took immediate notice, and not knowing what to say in that moment, he hugged you, making you hug him back twice as hard. You sobbed into his soft belly as he simply held you and stroked your head as he rocked you slowly. All of the crying you did the night before clearly wasn't enough to ease the tension in your heart. Lucky's own heart began to break for you, but he knew that his captain would realize how stupid he was. Suddenly, the door slammed open and out popped a very hungover and very tired Shanks.
"Lucky! I can't find her; I've searched the whole dammed ship I-" Shanks exclaimed with pure panic in his eyes. "Honey?" Shanks whispered as he looked at the sight before him: You, hugging one of hsi friends with tears streaming down your beautiful face, snot covering his stripped shirt.
"Captain!" Lucky shouted
"Hi." You greeted weakly, letting go of Lucky, wiping your face with the nearest clean cloth.
"I'll give you guys some space, see you later Y/n." Lucky spoke, giving you an apologetic glance.
Once he left and with the door now closed behind once again, you were left alone with the man you weren't expecting to see until at least tomorrow. Neither of you said a word as your gaze was on a bowl of flower left out for a recipe Lucky was about to make. Shanks on the other hand was so relieved to see you. After your fight he got an ear-full from all of the crewmates that heard your argument, especially Lucky and Hongo, despite being drunk as hell themselves. He knew as soon as those horrible words left his filthy mouth, that he fucked up bad.
"I'm so sorry." Shanks blurted out, mentally slapping himself for saying such a simple apology.
"I... I'm sorry for being...well me." You struggled to say.
Shank's eyes widened with disgust, not with you, but with himself. He knew that if he wasn't such drunken fool, you would have never said such a thing.
"You never need to be sorry for such a silly thing. My love, you are the most perfect soul I've ever been lucky enough to know." Shanks spoke, stepping closer to you.
"You don't need to say such things, I know how you truly feel about me." You sneered, now looking at the man, you call your husband.
Shanks flinched slightly at your words, knowing full well that he deserved the insult. Despite that, he continued to step forward, until he was mere inches from your body, your gaze fixed on his. "The man I was last night is not the man I ever wish to be to you again. The fact that I stooped that low shows how much I need to change." Shanks spoke seriously. "You were right, I have a problem and I'm sorry it took last night for me to realize just how right you were...are." Shanks added as he noticed your gaze softening at his words, making him let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
"Thank you, I thought last night meant you were finally done with me." You half joked
"Done with you! How could I ever be done with you?" Shanks laughed as he grabbed your cheeks with his hand, squishing them together making you giggle.
"M-My love." You struggled to say.
"Yes?" Shanks asked, letting your cheeks go.
"As happy as I am, I just need you to know that as much as I appreciate your apology, I think I'm going to need some time to fully accept it." You spoke, hoping he would understand.
"I know and I will do everything in my power to deserve your forgiveness. And that means no more alcohol." He sighed
"Thank you, but you don't have to go cold trukey, just please don't drink like you're young again." You replied
"What do you mean! I'm as young and healthy as ever." He laughed then stopped as he noticed the disapproving look you gave him. "Sorry, you're right, no more needless drinking.
"Yes, that's all I ask." You sighed in relief, wrapping your arms around his strong body.
"Thank you, for being my wife and caring so much about this old pirate." Shanks whispered, securely holding you against him.
"Thank you for being my old stubborn pirate." You replied, reaching up to capture his lips with yours.
———
Later that day...
"You know, now that I'm not drinking so much, we have a lot more time for sex." Shanks spoke bluntly
"Shanks!" You shrieked, making your husband laugh so loud, the entire crew heard.

I want to come on here and say that I’m very sorry for how long it’s taking me to write all of your requests. I promise I haven’t forgotten and I will have them done as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your patience 💜
hey! i really, really, REALLY love reading your work- it’s always a comfort for me when things get a little rough.
i’ve never actually requested anything-
i also write and ik it can be stressful to have to write so much 😭-
but things are getting bad and i was wondering if you could write one where Tengen and his wives help comfort a struggling Reader (i’m lowk struggling with some suicidal things but ik that’s very triggering so that doesn’t have to be the basis for it) but if it could just be the four of them finally noticing that the reader is acting a bit down after weeks of their mental health deteriorating-
the reader is a bit stubborn and doesn’t like help, often feeling like a burden and having to be forced to be taken care of-
and it’s js kind of a fluff all around, lots of cuddles and persistence from the four of them.
holy yap- sorry abt that, and feel free to js ignore this 😭 ik this isn’t really a theme you do often (from what i’ve seen at least)
I would love to do this fic for you! And I’m so sorry you’ve been struggling💜💜 Things will get better and your life matters more than you know💜
Dearest
Tengen Uzui/Wives x Gn!reader
In which you have been having trouble feeling like you aren’t enough and it’s causing you to spiral. And the ones you thought would not care, care more than you ever thought.
Angst, heavy topics such as suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety. Mentions of blood. Fluff, wholesome things, and happy ending. Please proceed with caution if any of these topics are triggering. I put my own twist on this story as I already have one similar (lots of wholesome content otherwise)
The chill of the of the night rattled your bones so fiercely it felt as though you were a walking human corpse. The cliffside where you stood dropped off so far that it was hard to see the bottom, even during the day. You couldn’t remember when you had gotten to this part of the property, but you did remember why. And it was just the straw that, unfortunately, broke the camels back.
Tonight, it was your turn to make supper and you completely burnt all of the food and had no ingredients to try making the dish again. So, Hina took it upon herself to make dinner, making you feel like an absolute failure, especially with the way Makio looked at you when you had told them you messed up.
You said nothing during dinner. Just ate your food without so much as looking at any of your spouses. None of them seemed to notice that you weren’t speaking or looking at any of them. Especially since Tengen was rambling on about the same story he tells nearly every week about the ugliest demon he had ever killed. And the girls were all giggling along like they always did when he told that story, like you normally do.
Once every one was done, you took the opportunity to do something useful and ways the dishes and tidy. However, Tengen gave you a look once you began gathering dishes. A look that you translated as ‘don’t even try, you’re just going to mess it up.’
Without much warning you decided you needed some air. At the time you didn't care if it was colder than it had been all winter. You didn't care that as soon as you walked out of the comfort of your home your body shook violentely from the cold. All you knew you needed was time away. Time away from the people who's lives you have convinced yourself would be better off without you.
While you were a few paces out of the door, you heard footsteps tromping through the snow towards you. You turned around quickly to see who it could possibly be, and were surprised to see that it was Suma.
"My love, where are you going?" She asked as she looked at you with her shining blue eyes.
"Just need a moment to myself, I-I'll be back soon." You replied, giving her a curt smile.
"I'm not mad about dinner if you're worried about that. Accidents happen!" Suma attempted to reassure.
"Thank you Suma, I'll see you soon." You spoke quickly, trying your best not to cry.
"Just please don't leave the estate grounds! Remember they are warded against demons!" She called out. You didn't respond as you already knew that information, but the fact that she warned you made the icy feeling on your body warm just a little.
Now, there you stood debating now on even going back home, even after promising you would. You felt like the biggest screw up and that you mess up their lives and make Suma worry. Your spouses go out and kill the horrid creatures that terrorize innnocents, while you stay home and seemingly can't manage to put together a dinner. You had no idea what had gotten over you tonight. As your cooking skills weren’t extraordinary, but you had never once messed up like you just had.
———
Half an hour had passed and you still stood at the edge of that tall cliff. As you looked down at the dark below, you thought about what would happen if you just suddenly disappeared from their lives. For the past few months you could feel yourself starting to decline, but because you didn’t wish you out anymore burdens on your spouses. So you said nothing and neither did they.
“What would your absence do to them? Would they even really notice that your presence was not in their home anymore? Would anyone notice if you weren't there?” You thought as you stared into that black abyss.
These horrid thoughts plagued your mind and seemed to circulate within it like a mantra. Over and over again these thoughts swam in your mind and no matter what you did, they never left it. Soon, you felt yourself began to shake. The shaking was not from the bitter cold surrounding you, but from your emotions taking you hostage. You stumbled backwards, falling from a small branch that you didn't seem to notice before. As you fell, you hit your head on a pile of rocks beneath a thin blanket of snow. And before you could realize what had happened, your vision gave out and you saw nothing but black.

No Ones Pov
"Dammit where the hell are they!" Tengen demanded to no one in particular.
"They should be back by now." Suma added as she looked at the door expecting them to walk in any minute.
"We need to go look for them." Makio spoke up, as she promptly got up from her chair to put on her winter coat.
"I agree, Makio I'll go with you!" Hina agreed, following suit.
"Oh so now you both give a damn!" Suma yelled, tears filling her eyes.
"What the hell does that mean?" Makio snapped back, storming towards Suma.
"It means that our spouse has clearly been struggling and the only one who seems to give a damn is me! I'm so sick and tired of you guys not giving them the treatment they deserve!" Suma defended
"You think that we don't care! I love them so much and I can tell something is up too! I just wanted them to tell me when they felt ready to do so!" Makio replied through sobs.
"Shut up." Tengen muttered feeling his first ration rise.
"Suma you need to realize that I too notice that they are struggling too. And like Makio I just didn't want to push them to say anything they weren't ready to say." Hina spoke, crossing arms around her body.
"Shut up." Tengen spoke louder this time as he glared at his three wives.
"Just because you both have noticed doesn't mean that you shouldn't have asked them how they were! They probably think that we don't care about them, and that's just horrible!!" Suma yelled, standing up.
"Shut up!" Tenegn yelled, finally getting the attention of his bickering wives. "Instead of this bullshit of what we should've done. Instead let us show them how much we care by going out there to look for them. Because right now we are failing them by not showing any real effort." Tengen proclaimed.
The three of them were stunned at his sudden outburst. Makio stood there with her eyes wide, while Hina looked ashamed, and Suma just smiled at her husband, knowing he was completely right. No one said anything after Tengen spoke, as they didn’t need to. Instead they put in their winter clothes and began looking for their missing love.
———
The four of them had been looking for you for twenty minutes now as a small snowstorm began to break out, making it hard to see. However, with Tengens superhuman abilities, he was able to see just fine and knew in his gut they he was going to find you. Soon enough, he spotted an unusual mound in the snow and raced towards it. He quickly whipped snow off the object and was stunned to see how cold it was. When he realized it was you, he felt his heart stop.
“Hey! Honey! Wake up!” Tengen pleated as he pulled your cold body to his attempting to warm you up. As he checked you, he noticed a small lump on the back of your head, feeling the now frozen blood caked in your hair.
Tengen then checked for your pulse, fining it hard to locate it. However, after a few heart clenching moments, he found it. However, it was incredibly faint and he knew that I’d he wasn’t who he was, he would assume you were dead. That thought hit him harder than he expected as fresh tears welled into his eyes.
“I’m so sorry. You’re going to be okay, I’ve got you now!” He said as he began running back to the house in order to warm you up.
On the way home, he ran into the other three and told them to hurry home as you needed to be warmed and taken care of. The three responded with zero hesitation to help and promptly make their way home in order to help the one they loved so dearly.
———
When you finally awoke from your dreamless slumber, you were greeted to the familiar warmth of your home. The sun was shining through your window, making your eyes hurt slightly. You were in your bed and covered in a mound of blankets and felt like you were in the middle of summer. Sweat glistened on your body, and sure enough you were absolutely drenched in it.
“Gross.” You muttered, taking off the mound of blankets and sitting up. To your left you noticed a glass of water and quickly took it and drank it down.
As you did so, you felt a sharp pain erupt on the back of your head. You then noticed the bandage wrapped around your head and realized that you must have hurt yourself pretty badly in order to need one.
You sighed as you suddenly remembered the events of the night and how you even ended up having such an injury. Your heart sunk at the realization that your spouses must have gone out into that dreaded cold just to find you.
“How burdensome.” You muttered feeling like absolute shit.
Tears threatened to spill from your tired eyes, but you forced yourself for bite them back in case anyone came into the room. The last thing you wanted was to put any of them in a situation you were very confident none of them wanted to be in.
“If I had just done what I should’ve done, none of them would’ve had to go through any trouble because of me tonight.”You thought, feeling that familiar ache in your heart.
“Hey, you’re awake!” A booming voice suddenly exclaimed making you yelp.
“Tengen!” You exclaimed with wide eyes.
“Sorry there I didn’t mean to startle you.” Tengen spoke, giving you a strange stare.
“It’s fine, are you okay?” You asked, trying to avoid grimacing at your throbbing head.
“No, y/n, I nearly lost you tonight. Of course I’m not okay.” He spoke through clenched teeth.
“I’m sorry.” I strayed feeling my heart sink. “I promise that I didn’t mean to cause this much trouble.” You spoke, avoiding eye contact with him.
“I know.” Tengen sighed. He then made his way to you and without much thought, he hugged you tightly. “I know.” He spoke once more, kissing your forehead.
“I’m sorry.” You sobbed, feeling incredibly undeserving of this affection. Despite the feeling, you simply couldn’t pull away from him.
“You have nothing to be sorry for!” He cried, pulling you closer to him. “It’s I who would be sorry for making you feel the need to leave like that, especially in the damn cold.” Tengen spoke. And just like that you both held each other and cried together. “You’re so damn suborn you okay that.” He joked after a while.
“I know.” You whispered, though barely.
Tengen suddenly broke the hug and replaced it with his warm hands on your now wet face. He smiled at you like you were the once person in this world. And for awhile you forgot anyone else existed. However, this delusion left as quick as it came because the thundering sound of footsteps came through.
“You’re awake!” Suma yelled as she practically tackled you.
“Ow!” You yelped as you both fell against the bed, your head nearly bumping the side table.
“Sorry! Sorry! I’m just so happy you’ve woken up! I was so worried!” Suma cried in your chest. You simply stroked her frizzy hair in response as you tried to get into a comfortable position.
“Hey.” Hina spoke, avoiding making eye contact. “I’m glad you’re awake, how are you feeling?” She added, sitting on the edge of the bed.
“I’m okay.” You lied, still stroking a crying Suma.
“No you’re not!” Makio hissed as she too walked into the room and sat on the bed.
“I gotta agree with Makio on this one.” Tengen interjected, his arms crossed tight against his chest. “Please.” He sighed. “Tell us how you are, we only want to help you.” Tengen pleaded.
“I- I’m not…” you spoke softly.
“What can we do to make you feel better!” Suma asked as she looked up with fat tears on her face. You then wiped some of them away, making her blush slightly. “I’m suppose to be making you feel better.” She pouted
“I’ll be okay, I just need time.” You said, giving her a small but tired smile.
“Okay…” Suma sighed
Then, out of nowhere, Makio decided to hug you. Completely pushing a whining Suma off of your lap in order to do so. Makio wrapped her legs around your waist as she buried her face in the crook of your neck, making sure to avoid your head.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered
“Makio-“ you started
“I’m sorry for everything I’ve ever done to make you feel like you don’t matter. You don’t need to tell me why you were out there tonight because I already have a feeling I know why.” Makio cried out, clutching onto you harder.
“Thank you.” You spoke, decided to reply after a moment as you put your face in her freshly washed hair.
“I know that you probably feel like I didn’t notice anything going on, but I promise I do. I’m just sorry it took me so long to realize I should talk to you.” Makio added
“Y/n, pleaee know that I feel the same as Makio. I do notice your struggles, it’s just I feel like I don’t know when to speak to up about it.” Hina spoke up
“You guys, thank you for telling me this…” You sobbed out.
“If you cry, I’m going to cry harder!” Suma whined, crawling back to hug you
“I just feel like I can’t talk to you because I really don’t want to bother anyone. But I can see that you all love me and I’m sorry that I’ve caused you s-so much t-trouble!” You choked out.
“You ain’t gotta be sorry. We’re the ones who failed to notice what was hurting you.” Tengen said, sitting on the bed too.
“We love you and I think I can speak for everyone here when I say that you can come to us for anything. Especially if you’re struggling and having really dark thoughts.” Hina spoke thoughtfully.
“I…I love you all too.” You sniffled. “As I said earlier, I just need time. But with that time I promise you all that I’ll start coming to you all more.” You proclaimed, feeling more confident in yourself than you had in months.
“Y/n, tomorrow we are all going out on a date, my treat. There’s a spot that I think you’d like.” Tengen suggested
“That would be lovely.” You said as Tengen gave you a kiss on your tear stained cheek.
“Great!” He celebrated
“Lookin forward to it.” Makio said as she slowly pried herself from your body and laid down next to you, her hand now clasped with yours.
“Thank you all for loving me.” You whispered as you looked around the room at all of the people that loved you more than life itself.
“Thank you for putting your trust in us.” Hina replied, placing her hand on your thigh.
“You’re so easy to love.” Suma spoke through a yawn.
“Damn right they are!” Makio added.
The rest of the night was spent with you being the sole focus. They all took turns serving you food and various drinks. Suma spent a lot of it crying and telling you how sorry she was, while you consoled her. Hina and Makio both made your favorite dinner and Tengen was holding you against his broad chest. You knew that from this moment on things would get better. While noting is a cure all, it doesn’t hurt to have people in your life that makes living everyday better.

•I do NOT own any characters except y/n and my OCs•
In which you get absolutely “lovesick” when you meet a certain red haired pirate.
Fluff, angst, romance, reader is from Amazon Lily. Can’t remember if all Amazons get lovesickness or if it’s just the empress, but in this story all of them could get it. Reader is in her thirties (Shanks is in his forties). Set just after Luffy leaves Amazon Lily. Shanks is kinda lowkey a simp.
Your Pov
Today started out at any other day before, my snake, Charzi awoke me and forced me up earlier than I wanted to. Reluctantly, the obliged her and got up to start my day. As soon as I was dressed for the day, bow in hand and my custom made blade on my hip, and Charzi wrapped around my waist, I made my way to sharpen the very dull spears of my sisters. On my way to there, I heard some screaming and a few of my sisters were running past me at full speed, with determination and an intent to kill on their beautiful faces.
“Y/n! A ship is approaching! We need to go!” Theodora yelled as she grabbed my hand, making me follow her.
I nodded at my best friend as she let go so I could ready my bow to fire at any enemies that dare tread on our island. Once the two of us, along with a hoard of our sisters made it to the island’s shore, we’re were greeted with a huge boat that had a dragons head as its mast. Chills ran down my spine at the realization of who’s ship this was; The Red Hair Pirates.
“That’s an emperor of the sea, Theodora!” I exclaimed in a hushed tone.
“I know, stay strong, even if we can’t win!” She replied as I noticed a slight shake in her always perfect bow stance.
Suddenly, the man in question walked up to us in a calm manner that suggested that he might not be here for a fight. He smiled as he scanned the crowd of us, bows ready, with an intent to kill. He looked almost happy to see us and to my utter dismay, he looked straight into my own eyes.
My breath caught in my throat as it seemed like he was studying me. A heat I’d only ever felt when I was sick rose to my cheeks at his intense gaze. Despite this sickly feeling, I stood firm and held his gaze too. However, my strength was futile as this man smiled at me. A smile that made my heart beat faster than it ever had before and I couldn’t help but smile too.
“What is the meaning of this intrusion Red Hair!” Hancock yelled as she walked in front of the crowd, her sisters behind her as her snake slithered protectively at her side.
“Your highness, I hope you can forgive me for trespassing on your beautiful island.” He spoke loud enough for us to hear.
“Leave before I order my warriors to annihilate you and your whole crew!” She shouted, as we all cheered for our empress.
“Forgive me, we would love to but our ship needs repairs. May we dock for a few weeks on your island? We will compensate you for your hospitality.” Shanks spoke in a hushed tone as he rested his hand on his sword casually as the empress stared at him silently.
“She isn’t really going to let this crew stay?” Theodora spoke worriedly
“I don’t know, he’s an emperor of the sea, he’s incredibly powerful.” I spoke as my eyes never left Shanks.
“I saw you smile at him.” She joked quietly
“I-I did not!” I said, feeling that heating sensation I felt just moments before.
“You did too! You know he’s a man though and they can’t be trusted.” Theodora spoke in an oddly serious tone that she rarely used.
“Doesn’t matter what I did.” I mumbled, rolling my eyes.
We went quiet for a while, and so did the rest of my sisters as we awaited the decision of the empress. They seemed to be speaking once again, though I couldn’t make out a single word they were saying. I only hoped they would come to a decision soon because I needed to get to my duties for the day.
“I have made my decision!” Our empress yelled. “These filthy men will stay on the far side of the island and none of my people will be permitted near them, unless told otherwise. They will leave in a week!” She added as she flicked her perfect hair behind her as she walked away from Shanks as though he was nothing but dirt on her shoes.
“I love you empress!!” All of my sisters yelled as she walked passed them, Theodora included.
However, I couldn’t seem to celebrate in any way as my gaze stupidly focused back on the man on the shore. I wish I was closer so that I could see how truly handsome he was. From afar, this man seemed to be oozing a confidence I’d only truly seen from a few if my sisters. I could sense how strong he was and for some reason I felt no fear. Just as I was about to reluctantly turn away from him, his gaze found mine again. Only this time I was the one to smile first.
———
Later that day…
News spread fast to the rest of my sisters on the island at an emperor of the seas arrival. We all tried to get back to the natural order of things, but with the looming presence of a group of men on our island, tensions were high, especially amongst the elders. However, my mind was too focused on my work as I sharpened the tenth blade of the day, making sure it was sharp enough to slice paper with a gentle swipe. I was so focused, that I nearly jumped when a commanding voice coming from the doorway alerted me.
“Y/n, you have orders from the empress!” One of my sisters known as Emelda said.
“What does our empress command of me?” I replied as I stood from my station.
“She requests that you spy on our…guests and report back on any suspicious activity from them. Your observation haki is very strong, so you among a few others are tasked with this.” Emelda commanded, giving me a small smile.
“Then I shall do as requested.” I replied, giving her a small bow.
“Good, you and the others are to leave in one hour.” Emelda said. Before I could reply, she walked out of the hut.
An hour later, I met up with the others at the edge of the village. There was a very familiar face there and a face I’d only see in passing. I smiled wildly at the sight of Theodora, who smiled back with the same energy. I then nodded at the other woman.
“I’ve seen you around, but we’ve never fully been introduced, I’m y/n.” I spoke as I took in her fighting gear. She was dressed in a maroon outfit, with knives strapped to her waist.
“Zelda, nice to meet you. You’re one of the ones who sharpens our blades.” She remarked.
“Yeah, that’s me. What’s your job?” I asked
“I mostly hunt and help build things.” She shrugged. “I also fight… but we all do that.” She added sounding rather shy.
“Good to meet ya! I’m Theodora.” Theodora introduced.
“Pleasure!” Zelda replied as her snake and Charzi exchanged snake-like pleasantries.
“Now, let’s go spy on some men, shall we. Our empress is expecting news by tomorrow morning.” Theodora spoke, sounding serious.
“Let’s go make sure they are doing anything that would harm this island.” I replied trying to sound tough. However, my mind was racing with the idea that I could get another glimpse of him.
———
Once the three of us were about twenty meters out, we all slowed our movements and began moving towards the ship with perfect stealth, using the trees to block ourselves. As we moved closer, we heard boisterous laughter coming from the shore, along with music from a stringed instrument. The smell meat and ale hung in the air, making my nose curl.
Theodora with Zumi, her snake, wrapped around her waist and Zelda with hers were both in other trees fairly far from my own position. However, still close enough that any of us could signal if we were caught watching them.
I peered closer, using my observation haki to see and hear what the crew of men were up to. As I watched, I noticed that their captain was missing. Instantly, I felt my skin crawl at the thought of him wandering around the island, trying to get a peek at one of us while his crew weren’t looking, however, that thought was squashed just as soon as it had entered my mind as a sudden tap to my shoulder made me jump.
“Well hey there, I know you!” A familiar voice greeted beside me.
“Fuck!” I yelled, losing my bearing on the branch I was on and began falling towards the jungle floor. Charzi somehow lost her grip on me and began to fall too. “Charzi!” I yelled, grabbing her at the last second.
However, before I made it there, I felt an arm wrap around my waist and drag me back to the spot I was previously in. My eyes widened at the sight of the very captain I was looking for just moments ago. Charzi found her way from my hand onto a nearby branch, eyes fixed and fangs out on the man currently holding my body.
“Well get there pretty lady.” Shanks complimented, giving me a smirk.
I stared at him, taking in his face. His vibrant red eyes shone with an intensity that I’d only seen from the fiercest warrior, however, there was a softness in them that instantly melted any sort of fear I once had. His maroon colored hair framed his face perfectly, giving him a youthful look. And the stubble on his face that I knew I should hate, only intrigued me. I’d only seen men a few times in my life, especially when I was with the other Kuja pirates, but out of all of the ones I’d ever seen, he was by far the most handsome. My heart started beating faster than it ever had before, heat rose to my cheeks making me feel sick, and the feel of my body so close to his brought such heat to my soul that I knew I’d never be cold again.
“Hey, are you okay there. You’re looking a bit sick!” Shanks spoke sounding slightly worried.
“He’s worried about me.” I thought, smiling slightly at him.
“I-I’m fine.” I replied as I all of the sudden felt incredibly shy for the first time in my life.
“Good, you know it’s not every day I get to have such a lovely lady in my arms.” He cooed as he leaned closer to my steaming face.
“I-I” I stammered fully forgetting how to speak words at this point.
“Hey! Get you hands off of her!” I heard Theodora yell as she ran towards us.
“Back off scum!” Zelda roared as she too made her way to the tree.
“Whoah, whoah there ladies! I’m just helping your friend here!” Shanks defended, his beautiful eyes still looking into mine. “What’s your name?” He asked seemingly forgetting about the very strong warriors making their way to him and Charzi hissing at him.
“Y/n.” I whispered, looking away from him.
“So you’re the one that was looking at me earlier.” He asked.
“Yes, can you l-let me go?” I questioned. However, I slightly regretted asking to be away from him. His warmth filled spaces within me that I ever knew were so cold.
“Sure thing.” He replied, letting go of my body.
“How did you find me.” I asked, finding it very hard to look him in his eyes.
“I was already in this area and sensed you three coming. Don’t be discouraged though, you hid yourself well.” Shanks replied, resting against another branch. I could feel his gaze on my face, making my heart race far too fast.
“Really? T-thank you.” I whispered, placing my hands on my too hot face.
“Get away from her!” Theodora yelled, pulling her sword free and placing it next to his exposed neck as she stood on the branch above him.
“Woah, there!” Shanks replied as he lifted his hand in surrender. “I wasn’t going to hurt her!” He added, looking me in my eyes. I swore my face was quite literally on fire.
“What did you do to her! She looks sick!” Zelda screamed, seemingly horrified at my current state.
“I didn’t do anything. All I did was speak to her!” Shanks defended, giving me an apologetic look.
“Y/n,” Theodora yelled, making her way to me. “Y/n, you’re burning up! Did he infect you with his man sickness!!” She cried out, feeling my forehead.
“N-no! I feel fine mostly, just hot…” I whispered, looking past my friends towards the unbelievably handsome man behind her.
“We need to get her home!” Zelda spoke as she too made it to where I stood.
“Do you need any help?” Shanks asked, sounding slightly worried.
“Ahhh, he’s worried for me!” I internally screeched. “Why should I care about that! He’s a man!” I scolded to myself.
“I-“ I stammered
“No she doesn’t! Get away from her!” Theodora spoke, blocking herself from Shanks.
“We need to get home, he’s clearly gotten y/n sick!” Zelda whispered, gaze still on Shanks.
“I haven’t gotten any one sick!” Shanks replied, looking slightly annoyed.
“Oh, I hope he didn’t annoyed with me!” I screeched internally. Charzi gave me a strange look as she wrapped herself tighter against my body.
“We need to go! We can report to the empress with the information we have. We just need to pray it’s enough to satisfy her!” Theodora spoke in a hushed voice.
“Please, if there is anything me or my crew can do for y/n…” Shanks speaks as my mind goes numb with a strange desire for the man I can now barely see.
Neither Zelda or Theodora replied to Shanks’s plea. Instead they both put my arms around their shoulder and just like that, we were gone. My mind still muddy from the new emotions I was feeling. Though, one feeling I knew for certain, was that Shanks was a man that I knew would be nothing but trouble, and there was nothing I could do about that.

Shanks Pov
After my strange encounter with the women of this island, I decided the best course of action was to drown myself in top quality booze. I sat on the beach next to Ben and Lucky Roux. The three of us naturally drank and ate ourselves half to death. My thoughts about those women were nearly off my mind… nearly.
“Hey captain! Where did you go on your little outing!” Lucky Roux asked as he was mid bite.
“Just looking around this island a little is all.” I replied shrugging my shoulders.
“You were gone for quite a bit you know!” He teased, taking another massive bite of his drumstick.
“Yeah, I guess so.” I said, my thoughts drifting to the women I met in the woods. Especially the one who that I held in my arms.
Y/n was her name, a pretty one at that. She was lovely, though I suppose that what I should expect from this island. Y/n seemed to look sick after being with me for only a short while. I could only hope I didn’t actually give her anything, especially since me and the crew just had our monthly check up with Hongo.
“Something bothering you?” Ben whispered suddenly as he looked out into the sea.
“Nothing really, I think I got someone sick.” I muttered, taking a massive swig of the bottle of booze in my hand.
“Huh?” Ben quirked and eyebrow at my response.
“There was this girl, watching our ship from the jungle. The same one I saw when we first landed here.” I replied, smiling at the recent memory.
“You mean the woman you were eye fucking from the shore?” Ben laughed
“Yeah yeah, anyway she was on a brach and slipped when I announced myself, caught her just in time.” I announced, feeling proud of myself slightly.
“Alright, captain!” Lucky cheered
“Classic knight in shining armor.” Ben joked
“Nah.” I said. “She started burning up, and her friends were pissed. Telling me that I got her sick with my “man sickness”. I know I ain’t sick!” I grumbled
“Maybe she’s just fallen for ya captain!” Lucky spoke, reaching for his fifth helping of chicken.
“Maybe…” I trailed.

“Dammit, y/n your temperature has gone up.” Zelda spoke as she touched my forehead. “Charzi, Luisa bring me some more cool towels please. Both snakes have her a quick nod before they slithered out of the door.
“I, mmm, I’m o-okay.” I huffed, finding it incredibly hard to breathe. My chest stung so much that I thought my heart would stop.
“You’re not!” She snapped
“I’m going to tell the empress! This man must be punished for what he did!” Theodora suggested.
“D-don’t!” I whined, trying my best to get up and stop my friend.
“No, I don’t care if he’s an emperor of the sea! He got you sick and he needs to pay for what he’s done!” Theodora bit back
“I’ll go with you! The empress might listen if there is more than one witness!” Zelda explained.
“Sisters please.” I pleated, feeling so hot that my body felt as though it was being boiled.
However, my plea fell short as my sisters had already left. I laid there in my cot feeling utterly hopeless. My body was too weak to get up and my mind was in so many places at once that it felt nearly impossible to concentrate. I didn’t wish to believe that Shanks could have gotten me sick, I didn’t want any animosity between the empress and him. I remember when the empress herself got sick when that strange monkey boy was here. She too, was too sick to move, which was strange for such a strong woman.
“Shit, am I love sick? I just met the man.” I questioned out loud, hoping none of my sisters nearby heard. “He is handsome.” I thought to myself as I stared up at the ceiling for far too long.
“Ahhhh!” I cried out as an intense stinging pain erupted in my chest.
“Hey! You okay?” A familiar voice called out. I turned my head to see who it was and my eyes widened with shock.
“S-shanks!” I cried out. “Why the hell are you here?! The empress will not let this slide!” I said, trying my best to get up.
“Stay put! I came because I was worried I got you sick. And I came to apologize!” Shanks replied, pushing my weak body back into the cot.
“I- I appreciate that, but men aren’t allowed on this part of the island. The fact that- ahh!” My chest convulsed.
“Shit, where is your nearest doctor.” He asked, clearly worried.
“He cares!” I stupidly gushed in my head.
“Y/n…y/n!” Shanks yelled, only my mind went blank and everything faded and the last thing I saw was the handsome sight of Shanks.
Hours later…
I jolted from a dreamless sleep, my hair sticking to my damp skin. There was a fraction of light still in the sky that I could see from my bedside cot. The intense heat I felt all over my body seemed to die down a little, giving me relief. Charzi was still asleep on her bed, dreaming about whatever it was snakes dreamed about. I decided not to wake her, knowing she too had a very stressful day.
I then realized that my throat was incredibly dry and sore. I looked around for anything to quench my thirst, but found nothing close. Reluctantly, I got up from my cot and walked outside.
Instantly, a welcoming cool breeze hit my face causing me to smile. I allowed myself to soak up the feeling before I made my way to the nearby water station. Once there, I filled up a bucket that was nearby and took greedy gulps.
“You seem better.” A feminine voice spoke from behind me, causing me to drop my water bucket in surprise.
“E-empress Handcock!” I squeezed, instantly bowing my head in respect.
“I’ve heard all about your illness, y/n.” She spoke casually. “And I know what caused it, walk with me.” She added
“Yes Empress!” I replied, following her steps as her snake slithered right next to her.
We walked in silence for a time, I decided it was best not to speak unless she spoke first, in case I accidentally invoked her wrath. She’s an incredibly beautiful woman, one I admire greatly. But, she’s not someone who you mess with or forget who she is. A few of my sisters have already faced her wrath because of it.
Finally, we made our way into an open field surrounded my deep jungle. The light was nearly gone, except for a sliver on the horizon was was bright enough that I could still see the empress.
“Do you remember when Luffy came to the island, and how much trouble he was after we had just returned from our voyage?” She asked suddenly
“Yes, I was one of your warriors that caught him and caged him.” I replied, remembering the events form a few years ago.
“You remember how I hated him, and how much I challenged him?” She asked again looking at me with ferocity.
“Yes, I remember finding your actions just.” I spoke.
“Hmmm, turns out that he because someone I admire, someone that I love.” She spoke. She then grabbed her face as though she were sick herself. “Oh Luffy, how I love you.” Handcock moaned out making my nerves jolt.
“Empress, I knew you loved him and I knew you were sick around the time he was here, but I thought you got better.” I spoke slightly concerned.
“Silence! What I am telling you is that you fell for Shanks! You love him the same way that I love the man who is destined to become my husband!” She declared slightly moaning when she spoke the word, “husband”.
“I don’t love him! I just met the man!” I bit back, instantly cringing at my actions.
“You do! And you will not get any better unless you realize that you love that man!” Handcock snapped, forming her signature pose.
“How do I even do that! Ive never been in love!” I complained, feeling so intensely feverish again that I fell to the earth. My heart felt like it was beating in my ears and breathing became a challenge.
“You are! And he knows it! That foul man has a responsibility to help you. Though, I am incredibly angry that one of my warriors was cursed.” She spat
“What do you mean he knows it?” I questioned as my heart fluttered at the thought.
“We had a conversation after you passed out. Theodora and Zelda came to me with their concerns. Shanks knows the situation. The devil man even had the balls to laugh. Spoke about how he felt you were an attractive woman.” Handcock scoffed.
“He thinks I’m attractive!” I spoke internally, grabbing my chest and sighing at the thought of Shanks and I.
“What do I do now?” I whispered, my mind still thinking thinking of Shanks.
“You hav to embrace your heart or else this illness will kill you.” Handcock said seriously, making my eyes grow wide with shock.
“Kill me?” I whispered, feeling absolutely horrified.
“Go to him, speak with him. You must, for it would be tragic to lose you.” Handcock spoke solemnly
“Thank you Empress! I’m sorry, I promise that I didn’t mean for any of this to happen!” I said
“Go now and good luck.” Handcock spoke.
———
I raced back to my house in absolute darkness, save for the few lanterns to guide my path. I decided I needed to freshen up before meeting with Shanks. Once home, I took notice that Charzi was up and cleaning up our shared home. I immediately went up to her and hugged her tightly, her doing the same.
“I’m going to be okay.” I told her. Charzi nuzzled into my cheek in response.
Suddenly, a knock was heard on my door. I turned around as Charzi wrapped around my waist. I slowly opened the door and to my surprise the man of the hour stood there, small bouquet of wildflowers in hand.
“I’m glad you’re up.” Shanks greeted as he held out the bouquet for me.
“T-thank you.” I said softly. “No one has ever given me flowers before.” I added, giving him the best smile I could given that my body was still incredibly tired from the day.
“You’re very welcome. How are you feeling?” He questioned
“Better now, after speaking with the Empress. I heard she spoke with you too.” I said gesturing for him to come inside.
“She told me her story and how the women from this island can get this sickness and how dangerous it is for them.” He replied, sitting down in one of my extra chairs. “All I wanna say is that I’m sorry I’m the man you got this sickness from.” He admitted, giving me an expression I couldn’t read.
“Why would you say that?” I asked as Charzi started typing up once again.
“I’m not exactly relationship material…” he trailed off. “Not that I’m not interested in you!!!” He added
“Nether am I. Though…it warms my heart just knowing you’re interested in me!” I spoke, tears filling my tired eyes.
“Aww, don’t cry! Here.” Shanks cooed taking out a handkerchief. He then wiped my tears looking at me more softly than anyone ever had before.
“T-thank you.” I cried softly
“Anytime.” Shanks spoke, putting the handkerchief back in his pocket. “You know, you could come out to sea with me. I could use someone like you on my ship.” Shanks mumbled as his cheeks grew nearly as red as his hair.
“I’ll have to ask the empress about that, and I’m not sure how I feel being around so many men at one time.” I admitted, slightly loving the idea of being anywhere near Shanks.
“None of my men will mess with you, if they do they’d have to answer to me.” Shanks proudly boasted.
“Then perhaps I will…” I said, giving this handsome man my best smile.

Hello! I was wondering if you could do demon Slayer men with an ftm!Reader? I've been feeling a little gender dysphoria lately, so I'm just looking for some fluff, maybe like not feeling up to being intimate so they snuggle instead?
Think about: tengen and his wives, giyu, sanemi.
Not obanai, he's for mistsuri <3
Just watched the demon Slayer movie so they've been on my mind :)
Sure thing! I’m so sorry you’ve been struggling with that💜
Demon Slayer Reacting to Their Partner Who Just Needs Cuddles
No mention of y/n, no mention of pronouns. Pure fluff & Relaxation. Slight suggestive themes. Made Tengen&The wives part longer than the other two.
-Sanemi
• Head-cannon
This brute of a man is always down for anything fast paced and dangerous. Especially if he gets to cut down nasty demons with his blade. However, when you aren’t feeling up to coming anything sexual, he’s immediately fine with it. Intimacy has been a big issue in your relationship, not for lack of trying but because of Sanemi’s brutal past. But for his love, he’s willing to do just about anything to make you feel comfortable.
• Scenario
You knew that it might be one of those nights that your partner might want something you just weren’t comfortable giving. Sanemi laid on your shared bed, wearing only a pair of sleeping pants, a noticeable bulge was peaking through and you knew you had to tell him how you felt.
“Hey, do you think we could just cuddle tonight?” You asked, feeling your anxiety bubble.
“Sure.” Sanemi replied with a loud yawn. “I was way too tired anyway. Come here.” He added as he scooped up your body, practically caging you into his.
“Thank you.” You whispered snuggling into him.
“Of course, now sleep, I’m tired from the day.” He replied as he silently relished in this moment with you.
-Giyuu
• Head-Cannon
Giyuu would most likely ask you just for cuddles before you can even get the first word out. He’s had a hard life and most of the times he just loves to come home and cuddle up next to you. It doesn’t matter where you cuddle, as long as his arms are around you, he feels secure. Not that sexual intimacy isn’t something he enjoys , Giyuu just tends to prefer cuddling you because of the security you give him.
• Scenario
Today was incredibly stressful and Giyuu wanted nothing more than to fall into your loving arms. Being a Hashira was rewarding for him, but his heart truly belonged to you and any intimacy you both shared together.
“Honey, can you hold me?” You asked as you held your arms out knowing he’d most likely say yes.
“I was just about to ask that myself.” Giyuu replied, pulling your body into his tired one.
“I’m so glad you’re home.” You spoke, breathing in his comforting scent.
“Me too, as this is the only place I truly wish to be.” Giyuu replied as he pulled you closer, making sure to soak up this moment as much as he could.
Soon you both found yourselves laying on your shared bed. Giyuu was on your chest, listening to your heartbeat, as you stroked his hair.
Tengen & The Wives
• Head-Cannon
They are freaky people and love to do anything sexual with you at any time. However, if you just want to cuddle with them, they wouldn’t complain one bit. Suma would be the first to wrap her arms around your waist and snuggle into you. The rest of them would follow suit and basically dog pile onto you. Tengen would be the most clingy though. Once he know all you want to do is snuggle, he wouldn’t let you go.
• Scenario
You could tell that tonight would be a night that your loves would need some sort of release. Tengen gave you a look earlier that basically have away all of his intentions for you and your spouses. That look made your anxiety spike, not because it’s him, but because you knew that all you wanted was a simple cuddle from them. Hina was the first to notice something was up.
“Hey love, is everything alright? You seem a little worried.” Hina spoke softly as she grabbed your hand.
“Oh, it’s nothing…I just…” you tried to say
“Are you okay?” Makio chimed in, looking a bit confused at your behavior.
“It’s just Tengen seemed a little antsy this morning for… you know…” You said feeling your face heat up with slight embarrassment.
“Did that big meanie make you upset?” Suma spoke up, with an adorable pout on her face.
“No, no!” You waved off. “I think I’d rather just cuddle with you all tonight, that’s all. Tengen didn’t do anything wrong!” You clarified
“We’ll of course we can!” Suma exclaimed, practically jumping onto you.
“Waaa!” You exclaimed as you feel backwards. However, to your surprise Makio caught you and placed your head comfortably in her lap.
“You dummy, why didn’t you say something earlier. I wasn’t feeling much like sex anyway!” Makio spoke, giving you a small kiss.
“Thank you!” You cried out, feeling like your heart was going to burst.
“We love you, and we would never want you to feel uncomfortable.” Hina reassured as she began stroking your hair.
“Hey, hey!” Tengen called out. “What’s going on here? You guys starting without me?” He suggested as he wiggled his eyebrows.
“No, we’re just cuddling tonight. Wanna join?” You asked as you opened your arms for him.
“Do I? Does the sun rise and set every day?” Tengen teased as he laid down on you, snuggling into your chest.
“I’m so glad you suggested this!” Suma spoke as she and Tengen fought for space on your body.
“Me too!” Makio chimed in.
“I’m happy you told us my love.” Hina replied, giving you her sweetest smile.
Thank you so much for reading! And thank you so much to the person who requested this! I hope it’s what you wanted!💜

•I do NOT own any character except y/n and any original characters•
In which, after a very close call with death, your boyfriend of many years, proposes to you…
Set during the very end of season 2, angst, language, major fluff, established relationship, mentions of blood and gore.
Sun beams illuminated the room, showing that morning had just kissed the world. You in the medical ward next to the man you loved. Sleep hadn’t found you last night as you waited and waited, and waited. Erwin smith had nearly met death just a few days ago, and there was nothing either of you could do to erase that fact. Nothing to mask the truth that your lover had lost a significant part of him. That, despite his heroics in the battle to retrieve Eren, he had been handicapped.
His right arm had been suddenly taken into the mouth of a huge titan. You remember the horrific terror you had experienced as you watched from your horse, still feeling the adrenaline rush from Erwin’s speech literally seconds before.
The nasty creature didn’t even have the slightest decency to bite the arm off for Erwin, he had to slice it off himself. You remembered your brain shifting focus as you leapt off your horse, after Erwin and that titan. Anger burned through your veins as you slashed through its nape, killing it with once vicious blow. It’s scream was bloodcurdling and you almost had to cover your ears due to the pitch.
Once you landed, you rushed to the man you so desperately love and had loved for years. His blood was spattered on the vibrant green grass in a terrifying contrast.
“Erwin!” You cried out, crouching on the thankfully soft ground.
“I need to stop the bleeding.” Erwin grunted out
“I’ve got it, but I’m going to need you to sit up so I can do it more efficiently.” You said, suddenly feeling more focused.
He followed your orders as he struggled to get his now incredibly injured body up. You held him to you as you took the lace from your left boot and tied it around his arm enough that you could see the bleeding slow.
“I need to get back in there!” Erwin proclaimed as he used your body to get his in a standing position.
“No the hell you don’t!” You snapped. “You’ve given enough!” You gestured to his right arm that was now no longer there.
“I’m the commander, my love.” Erwin spoke slowly, as he took his last remaining hand and placed it softly on your now tear stained face.
“But you’re also just a man, my man.” You cried, holding his hand to your face.
“I know, and I will always be yours. But I cannot leave these people without their commander.” He spoke in shallow breaths
“I know.” You reluctantly replied. “So I will be right there with you.” You added, placing a soft kiss onto his familiar lips.
The memory from just a day ago kept you up like no other nightmare you’d experienced. You’d seen so many people die or come close to it. You’d been witness to the most horrible creatures and slain plenty of them. But watching your love nearly being taken from this world, shook you like nothing ever has.
So, while he rested, you watched him. You made sure that he was breathing and that his pulse was steady. He still hasn’t woken up, but you didn’t want to push him, he did just lose his arm.
A few hours went by and you were still there, only now your hand was in his remaining one, making little circles on it. Hange and Levi came to check up on him a few times, but each time Erwin didn’t wake. Your heart was beginning to hurt more as you watched him.
“Erwin, honey, take your time, but know that I miss you.” You whispered softly as you kissed his cheek.
A week went by and still you waited. There were a few times that you had to leave him alone. But every time you left to shower, do some paper work, or talk to someone, you came back. You’d aways come back for him and you just hoped that he’d come back to you now.
“Y/n.” A groggy voice called out
“Hey.” You cried out feeling so incredibly happy to see those stunning blue eyes of his again.
“I- how long have I been dreaming.” He spoke making you laugh.
“Too long, but I’m glad you’re here now.” You replied as you kissed the hand you were holding. “I’ll get you some water. Can you sit up for me?” You questioned.
You helped him sit up once you realized how much he was struggling. Once he was up, you quickly grabbed the water jug and helped him take a much needed drink. He chocked a little on the water but quickly caught his breath.
“Thank you.” He whispered as he looked at his missing arm.
“Erwin, how are you feeling?” You asked even though you knew the unfortunate answer.
“I feel like I’ve been made less than.” He replied sadly, eyes not meeting yours.
“You’re not less than. You’ve had an unexpected change, but it’s nothing you can’t work around.” You reassured as you softly grabbed his face, making him look at you.
“I love you.” He spoke, placing his forehead on yours.
“I love you.” You said as you kissed him.
It was a soft and tender kiss, filled with unspoken desire and sadness. With his only arm, he pulled you into his body, deepening the kiss. You moaned softly at the action, but kept the kiss as soft as you did before. Erwin pulled away and placed his forehead back onto yours as he breathed in your scent and took in your warmth.
“You’ve been here the whole time, haven’t you?” He asked, looking at your lips.
“Of course, where else would I be?” You spoke as though it was obvious.
“Hmm. Y/n, I need to ask you something and I want you to have an open mind.” He suddenly spoke seriously.
“Of course.” You replied as you sat up straight to look at him better.
“This has been on my mind for a very long time. With recent developments, I fear I have no idea how much longer I have left.” Erwin started and you could feel yourself starting to become slightly nervous. He then grabbed your hand, which made some of that nasty feeling go away. “I have loved you for most of my life.” He whispered as you noticed tears pricking his eyes. “Y/n, will you be my wife? Will you marry me even though our lives are uncertain?” He finally spoke, looking at you with pleading eyes.
“Oh Erwin!” You cried out as you felt happy emotions overwhelm you. “Of course I will! I’ve been yours since the moment I met you.” You added, crashing your lips back on his.
You broke the kiss with a massive grin gracing your features and Erwin did the same. You then hugged him, careful not to hurt him. He hugged you back with pure desperation as he breathed you in. This world was so very cruel and the two of you had been through so much hell together. However, despite it all, you found each other. You both had found love in this strange world and no matter what else was thrown at you, you’d always have each other.
“I love you Mrs.Smith.” Erwin spoke as he kissed your cheek.
“And I love you, husband.” You replied, excited to plan your wedding with the man you so desperately loved with every fiber of your being.
Thank you so much for reading!💜 This idea came to me in the middle of the night, lol.

In which you meet an "older man" and start developing a massive crush on him...
Fluff, angst, misunderstandings, set during the first season of HXH. Might just do the first season.
Your POV
It smelled really, really bad in here. It was dark and I could see the mold growing in the corners of this large space. I had been here for a few hours as I waited for this years Hunter's Exam to begin. it was my first time taking it and part of me hoped that I would complete it this first time, but maybe I was too confident in myself. There were already so many people crowding in this space. Some looked normal enough, but others looked like they belonged on another planet. The strangest ones were a man dressed like a clown, who kept staring at me with a gross smile plastered on his pasty white face. And a man with pins jabbed in his face, wearing too tight clothes and shook like my grandma. I tried not to stare too long in fear that they might target me during the exam, There was even a child who couldn't have been more than 12 years old here, looking more confident than most of the people here.
I stretched my aching back, legs, and neck, still waiting for the exam to begin. Suddenly, the elevator dinged, and I turned to see who would be joining this merry band of wanna be hunters. To my surprise another child, who looked to be the same age as the other one, stepped out and a younger blonde man wearing Kurta Clan robes. Then, a very handsome tall man wearing a navy blue suit and glasses placed on the bridge of his nose, came out. I couldn't help but stare at the group as they got their badges from the adorable creature named Beans.
I smiled at how cute the child was and he reminded me of the children at my village. I guess he noticed my gaze and gave me a big wave from where he stood along with the rest of his group. I couldn't help but wave back, giving him my best smile. Then, to my annoyance, Tonpa walked up to them and gave them the same stupid speech he gave me as soon as I stepped off the elevator. My anger flared as I walked up to them, hoping to spare them from the same stupid face that I had to look at. Tonpa didn't even have a chance to offer his weird juice to them as I gripped his shoulders and smiled widly.
"Hey there buddy. Why are ya trying to poison these nice people?" I asked Tonpa sweetly giving the group genuine smile.
"H-hey there y/n! I wasn't trying to hurt them!" Tonpa whined, quickly putting the strange juice in his pocket.
"What! You were trying to poison us!" The handsome tall man yelled, rightfully so.
"No! I was just trying to be friendly!' Tonpa replied, shrugging my hands off of him.
"He tried to be friendly to me too." I replied as I crossed my arms
"Thank you for the warning." The younger blonde man spoke as he placed a hand on his chest as a thank you.
"You're just gonna believe this witch?" Tonpa whined
"Witch!" I exclaimed
"Why would she warn us about you then, pal?" The tall man spoke
"Fine, believe the witch instead of me! And here I was trying to be friendly." Tonpa spoke as he stomped off in a huff.
“I’m not a witch!” I called out, giving Tonpa the finger. "My name is Y/n by the way." I spoke as I put my hand out to shake the tall mans.
"My name is Leorio.” He spoke as he grabbed my hand softly. “This is Kurapika." Leorio gestured to the blonde man. "And this is Gon." He added as I smiled at both of them then turned my attention to Leorio, who was still holding my hand. I think he seemed to notice as he quickly let go of mine and placed his on yeh back of his neck.
"Very nice to meet you boys, this your first time here?" I asked, mostly looking at Leorio as I spoke, I then noticed the tips of his ears were red. Maybe the elevator was too cold for him?
“Yeah it’s all of our first times here and seems like we’re pretty late too!” Leorio spoke nervously
“It’s mine too, I got here just a couple of hours ago, so no need to stress.” I replied, hoping to calm the older man’s nerves. I really hated how handsome I found him.
“It’s your first time too!” Gon spoke as he rushed up to me.
“Yeah, I hope I get lucky enough to pass this time.” I said. “What brings someone as young as you to the Hunter Exam?
“Well, my dad is a hunter and he took this exam at my age and passes. I wanted to see why he left me to be a hunter.” Gon admitted without an ounce of anger at his seemingly dead bear father.
“Oh wow!” I replied awkwardly looking to Leorio for confirmation, only to see a big frown on his face.
“Yeah! What brings you here?” Gon enthusiastically asked.
“My grandma took this exam when she was younger too and she told me how it was one of the greatest achievements she’d ever done. So, I guess, in a way, I’m like you. I wanna see what she meant by that.” I said as images of my granny entered my mind. “Plus, if I do pass, hunters get to go places most people can’t go to, and I think that’s pretty cool.
“Wow! Your granny’s a hunter! I bet she’s so proud of you.” Gon replied
“I-I hope so!” I responded, feeling a little embarrassed.
“I think that’s a noble reason for being a hunter.” Kurapika spoke as I noticed him glare at Leorio.
“Thank you. What brings you guys here?” I asked only to be interrupted by a sudden voice.
“Welcome to this years Hunter Exam!” A mouthless man somehow spoke out to the crowd. “No more applicants may apply at this point but you may leave at any time!” He added as he turned towards the front of the group, like a leader. “My name is Saltoz, by the way! Now if you would follow me!” He spoke as he began walking towards the dark tunnel.
“Is this the first exam!” One of the applicants called out.
“Just follow me!” Mr. Saltoz called out as he suddenly picked up the pace.
We all began following him as he quicken his pace even further. I was so grateful that I had actually spent these last few years training with granny. Otherwise, I knew I’d be screwed. My new acquaintances began running with me. However, Gon somehow began running with the other kid here and they seemed to click instantly. Kurapika and Leorio sandwiched me in between them. Though, Leorio was considerably closer to my body that I could smell his cologne, which I liked a little too much.
I looked at him quickly, trying to figure out how old this guy was. He dressed like he was an older man but he looked a little bit younger. In my head I guessed he was around 30, which isn’t too far off from my own age of 21. He was way too handsome for me to not look at him, but if he really was that old, there way no way my granny would approve. I suppose I let my gaze linger on him too long as he looked down at me.
“You okay there, y/n?” He smirked
“Yeah, I’m great.” I spoke as I quickly diverted my gaze to anything but the man running next to me.
“Sure.” Leorio replied and I could feel my face getting very hot.
———
Leorio’s POV
It’s been hours since we started running. I was pretty confident at the start of this endurance test, but now I wasn’t too sure. Like when the hell did this shit end. I was really sweaty now and I wish that I had brought a change of clothes or hadn’t won a suit to this thing. Suddenly, I heard deep breaths next to me. Y/n, the really pretty woman I had just met only hours ago, was beginning to look a little worn out, but not as much as me.
“H-how are you not dying right now?” I asked her, panting.
“I trained for a few years for this with my granny.” She spoke between pants. “Though, I’m starting to wish I had trained a little harder.” She added as she looked at me. Her flushed face made my body feel something it really shouldn’t, especially since I literally just met her.
“Lucky you!” I called out, giving her a smile.
“You doing okay there Leorio?” She asked, giving me one of the smiles I’ve started to yearn to see.
“Oh yeah, n-never better!” I spoke, hoping she wouldn’t see through my bluff.
“I hope this shit doesn’t last long!” She laughed out
“Me too!” I called back as I instantly smiled at her laugh. “Why are you always so cheerful?” I asked her
“I dunno, I guess I just feel like life is better when you’re more cheerful!” She said. “My granny taught me that!” She added as she took the back pack she was wearing and grabbed a water bottle out of it, taking a drink.
“Not a bad way to live!” I said feeling kinda dumb for not bring a water bottle myself.
“Want some?” She offered as she pointed the bottle towards me.
“You sure?” I asked feeling kinda surprised she would offer something so casual.
“I wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t sure!” She spoke sarcastically, making me roll my eyes.
“Thanks!” I took the bottle and took a gulp, trying not to think about the fact that I drank after a girl.
“Anytime Leorio!” And I just about felt my heart stop.
———
Another hour later I was sweating like a pig. My paces slowed significantly and I felt my vision going blurry. Y/n I noticed was still running like she really had trained for this for years. I guess she hadn’t noticed I had slowed down until she was much further ahead. My heart aches at this a little, but I suppose that’s how this exam is played.
“Leorio!” Y/n suddenly called out
“Y-eah.” I groaned as I noticed her running backwards to look at my pathetic self.
“You have to keep going!” She called out to me
“I c-can’t!” I huffed, feeling like an absolute failure
“You have to! I have no idea what you’re situation in life is but you got this far! You have to keep going!” Y/n cheered once more, making my heart swell.
I stopped and heaved for a few seconds as I let her kind words flutter through my mind. She was right, I had made it this far! I was going to be a doctor, one that would help people no matter what!
“Dammit!!!!!” I screamed as I ran as fast as I could, even passing y/n.
“Way to go Leorio! That’s the spirit!” She cheered from behind me.
“How about you catch up slow pokes!” I called out.
“Go Leorio!” I heard Gon call out
“I’m glad you came back to your senses!” Kurapika called out too.
Suddenly, in the heat of running too much i suddenly felt a presence at my side. I looked down to see that y/n had made it and was running just as fast as I was. So, to be courteous of her, I began slowing down, now I was fully equal to her and the other contestants once again.
“Why’d you speed up!” I asked her as I took off my coat and shirt due to how incredibly hot I now felt.
“Dunno, guess I didn’t want to be left in your dust!” She laughed
“We are almost out, please keep up with me.” Mr. Saltoz said as I almost forgot he was there.
Then, to my absolute horror, stairs. We would now be running up stairs. I was starting to wish that I had saved a little more energy, but I couldn’t stop now. Especially since I had people who were now rooting for me.
“So, I told you my story, what’s yours?” She asked after a moment, looking a bit more tired than she did before.
“I’m just here for money!” I lied
“That’s fine, but there has got to be another reason for you to be here.” Y/n said, seemingly seeing through my bullshit answer.
“Money makes the world go round, that’s the only reason I’m here!” I pressed on
“If you say so.” She said in a disinterested voice.
“I am here for money.” I started. “That’s the truth. I had a friend that passed away to an illness that could’ve been treated, only his family didn’t have enough money.” I said trying to keep the bad memory from making me cry.
“I’m so sorry.” She said sincerely, touch my shoulder for a moment.
“Me too! But I’m here because I want to be the kind of doctor that helps people no matter how much money they have. I want enough money so that my patients don’t have to worry about a thing!” I proclaimed, feeling better now that I’ve told her.
“Wow! I didn’t know you were a doctor! I think that’s a pretty badass reason to be here!” She beamed
“I agree with y/n!” Kurapika spoke, making me flinch as I had no idea he was there.
“Yeah! I think that’s great!” Gon said too and I wondered when the hell he go here as well. I even say another kid here with white hair. How the hell did I not notice them here?
“Thanks you guys!” I said, smiling.
“Anytime old man!” Y/n spoke seriously.
“Old man!” I whined, looking at her with shock.
“Don’t you know I’m a teenager like you!” I exclaimed.
“What!” She yelled. “I thought you were like 30.” She laughed.
“I’m 19 dammit, how old are you?” I asked feeling slightly frustrated.
“Damn, I could’ve sworn you were 30. I’m 21!” She said.
“Look who’s the old lady now, huh!” I teased. “Don’t worry, I don’t mind my ladies a bit older.” I spoke. I looked at her and saw the shocked expression on her face and knew I messed up big time.
“Right…” she dragged on as the two of us ran in silence.
Once we finally reached the top, I felt relieved that the first test was finally over, but embarrassed as hell that I kinda gave away my slight crush on y/n. How wrong I was…

In which you and Crocodile finally patch things up…
Angst, strong language, suggestive themes, mentions of the time skip, violence, fluff. Suggestive themes. Out of character Crocodile. Smut, soft sex to hard sex, no protection, soft Crocodile, established relationship.
It had been a few weeks since y/n had been rescued by Crocodile and his appointed crew members. All of them had been wary of a potential attack from Doflamingo, but he never did show up, to everyone’s satisfaction. The plan Crocodile had worked much better than he originally thought it would’ve. So much so that he felt like he no longer needed the help of Mr. Raizon, who had been the key piece in rescuing his wife. So, two days later they had dropped him off at a summer island, per his request. With that out of the way all that was left for Crocodile was figuring out how to make sure his wife knew just how much he still loved her.
He had made sure that she was given comfortable a room next to his. With closets filled with clothing similar to the ones she wore when they were together along with a few other styles in case it had changed. Her bedroom was just as big as his, with a lavish bathroom, and a king size bed just for her. Crocodile even put in a little bookshelf filled with titles he remembered reading, along with some books he though she might enjoy. They spoke a few times, but it was mostly “good mornings” and “good nights.” When she first got on the shop it seemed like she wanted to talk, but words failed her as she had no idea where to start. Crocodile understood this and let her take as much time as she needed. Crocodile knew Doflamingo had hurt her, he just don’t know how much or wheaten or not you would tell him how much.
Now, Crocodile was in his office going over some plans for his new business idea he was having. It would take some time and money he didn’t have, but he knew that this would work, given time. His tired eyes barely able to read the notes he had written as his mind was blurred with thoughts of his wife. He needed to see her, hear the voice he had grown to love, feel her, and simply be near her. He sighed taking a long drag of this second cigar of the day. He let the tart flavor fill his mouth before exhaling. Suddenly, a soft knock was heard from his office door. His heart beat slightly faster hoping y/n would be the one knocking. Crocodile slicked back his hair and fixed his clothes as he walked to the door; opening it.
“Hey.” Y/n spoke softly looking up into his hazy purple eyes.
“You look ravishing.” Crocodile replied eyeing the outfit she chose to wear.
“Thank you, means a lot coming from you.” She spoke feeling warmer than usual.
“Do come in, would you like anything? I can have the cooks make you anything you desire.” Crocodile spoke warmly gesturing her into his office.
“I’m okay, thank you.” She spoke quietly making her was to the set of plush chairs in Crocodile’s office. As she sat she noticed that the room was very neat just like his office was on Alabasta. It almost seemed like a perfect replica of it even having their wedding photo neatly placed on the shelves behind his desk. The mere sight of it made her heart swell with a slight hope for their future together.
Crocodile made his way to the chairs and sat on the one next to hers. He moved his body so that it was facing hers better and y/n did the same. His legs were open allowing him to be more comfortable while she crossed hers as her foot to slightly graze one of his large legs.
“It’s been awhile.” Crocodile whispered looking at y/n as they both sat in his candle lit office.
“It has.” She whispered back as she instinctively placed a hand on top of his. “Thank you for coming for me.” She said giving him a small smile.
“Of course, you’re my wife. I just regret that it took so long for me to find you. I wasn’t exactly in the position to come for you for quite awhile.” He spoke smiling at the gesture.
“Y/n, you don’t need to worry about your brother anymore. That monster won’t ever come near you again.” Crocodile proclaimed deciding to ease any fears she might of had. He then moved his hand so that it wrapped around hers.
“If he wants to find me he will.” Y/n said relishing the warmth she’d craved for months not realizing how much she missed simply holding his hand.
“No matter what happens, I won’t let him near you.” Crocodile spoke more bluntly sounding assure of his abilities.
“I hope you’re right.” She whispered mostly to herself.
They stared at each other for a while feeling the warmth and comfort of the simple gesture of holding each others hands. It had been so long since either of them had felt such a comfort and neither of them realized how important this simple gesture meant to them. Crocodile only now realized just how much he needed to be near her. To see her face, her body, her smell. He’d known he needed her, he just didn’t realize how much.
“I missed you.” Y/n admitted as slight tears pricking her eyes. “You have no idea what he did to me.” She added feeling anxiety and fear creep up at the horrid memories in her mind.
“I can guess and I’m sorry.” Crocodile spoke through gritted teeth. “I…missed you too.” He whispered. “More than you can ever understand.” He thought giving her a mournful glance.
“I just wish I had been smarter about all of this. I’m far too trusting and I can’t believe I trusted the man who murdered my family.” She cried softly
What she did next shocked Crocodile and this man was not easily shocked. She pulled his massive hand, adorned with gemstone rings, to her face. His knuckles touching her soft skin as he felt a tear land on them. He stared at her with a strange expression on his face. Not one of discomfort for anger, but one of pity.
“I missed your warmth.” She whispered kissing his middle finger before placing his hand back down on the armrest.
“Y/n.” Crocodile trailed off not knowing what he should say in this moment.
“Can you promise me, that I won’t have to see him again?” She asked looking at her husband with terror.
“Just what did he do to you?” Crocodile asked through gritted teeth as he felt his blood boil.
It took her a while to answer as just thinking about Doflamingos face caused her to shake with fear. As she built up the courage to talk to Crocodile, he felt more antsy to know just how much torture Doflamingo would receive should he ever see that horrible man again.
“He… beat me. He’s don’t that everyday for so long.” She finally spoke her tone bitter. “He would leave me bloodied and then use one of his captives to heal me.” She spoke again this time with more fury. “He killed my brother, he killed my father. He tried to kill me.” Y/n spoke in pure rage gritting her teeth as she looked away from her husband who’s face now slightly scared her.
“He will die then.” Crocodile spoke darkly eyes never leaving her.
She turned sharply looking at his now very serious expression. His eyes seemed to darken and his body language looked ready for a fight. Crocodile now had a new goal. One that would ensure that his darling wife would never be hurt again. However, his dark thoughts were interrupted by y/n sudden change in demeanor.
“No, I don’t want you fighting him.” She admitted sinking into the plush chair.
“What!” Crocodile spoke too harshly making her jump and rip her hand from his. He mentally cursed himself for not containing his anger as that was the whole reason she left him in the fist place. “I’m sorry, that anger was not for you.” He apologized opening his hand hoping she would understand what he wanted.
She looked at his hand before deciding to simply keep them folded on her lap. She knew this would be a disappointment to him, but as much as she needed him, she also knew she needed to be smarter about him. Crocodile wasn’t her brother, nor would he ever hurt her as much as her brother had. However, he was still a hardened criminal, a man who’s plans for Alabasta were horrible, and yet she loved him all the same.
“You can’t fight him.” Y/n said trying to calm her racing heart.
“Why is that?” Crocodile spoke in a more well mannered tone still slightly irked that she was denying him.
“I’m not doubting your strength. I’m just so tired of all the horror. I saw you at Marineford, I saw the carnage that unfolded there. I witnessed that poor boy die in his brothers arms. I too was subject to extreme violence.” She proclaimed feeling a strange sense of confidence despite the words she spoke. “I’m just so fucking sick and tired of all of this nonsense.” She added finally looking into those hazy purple eyes she loved so damn much.
“Here” Crocodile whispered handing her his handkerchief that was embroidered with his initials.
Y/n hadn’t even realized she was crying as she stared at him with a wide eyed expression. Crocodile looked almost solemn as he handed her his handkerchief. He then placed his hand on his hook, feeling the cool metal on his fingertips. He stared at her as she carefully wiped her eyes.
“I can’t promise I wont kill him y/n.” Crocodile sighed now looking at their wedding photo in the corner shelf of his office. “But I can…wait for a while.” He suggested his eyes now looking at her.
“I suppose that’s fair.” Y/n said feeling grateful. “Hell, I might even join you on your wild bird hunt when the time comes.” She joked flushing slightly at her comment as she began to smile a little. She perked up a little more when she heard deep laughter.
“Ah, Ah, Ah.” Crocodile laughed deeply. “Glad to see you’re getting to better spirits, my dear.” He spoke reaching into his vest pocket and grabbing a fresh cigar. “You mind?” He asked putting the cigar in his mouth and grabbing his gold lighter.
“You know I don’t.” She replied watching him light his expensive cigar.
“Hmm.” He replied still looking at her. Crocodile was about to speak once more about the biggest elephant in the room, but was interrupted by a loud knock on his office door. “What!” Crocodile spat cringing at his slight burst of anger. He looked at y/n to see if she was scared, but she looked just as pissed as he was. “Good to know we’re on the same page on some things still.” He thought
“Forgive me Sir, but dinner is ready to be served.” A man called out from behind the door.
“We will take Dinner on the deck make sure the men are in the dining hall tonight, Luie.” Crocodile replied
“Wait, Chef Luie?” Y/n asked
“Of course! I know how much you liked his food. Plus he was in trouble with the marines over some stolen goods, so he’s joined our crew.” Crocodile spoke taking a drag from his cigar. “Let’s continue our previous conversation during dinner.” He added standing up from the plush chair.
“Our?” Y/n thought but decided to ask about it later. “Are you planning some kind of date with me?” She asked giving Crocodile a content smile.
“Would it be bad if I was?” Crocodile spoke smoothly taking a deep breath.
“Maybe not.” She whispered.
———
The cool ocean air kissed their faces as the warm light of candles danced through the night. Crocodile and y/n sat across one another with with gourmet plates of food in front of them. An expensive bottle of wine was placed to the left of them as a basket of bread was placed to the right. It was a lavish sight that most people would have considered a luxury. However, for a man like Crocodile, this was everyday dining with the only exception being that his wife was finally seated across from him.
“Is everything to your liking, my dear.” Crocodile asked taking a sip of his wine.
“Yes, I can’t believe you got chef Luie to work for you. Though, you can be quite persuasive.” Y/n spoke taking a bite of her food.
They ate, drank, and had small talk. The looming feelings they needed to discuss seemed to not feel so great as familiarity of of simply eating a meal together seemed to have a relaxing affect on them both. Though, that comfortable feeling left as soon as it came.
“Y/n, why did you leave me.” Crocodile asked suddenly slightly cringing at his own bluntness.
“You know why. Didn’t you read my letter.” Y/n replied taking a big swig of her wine feeling slightly uncomfortable.
“I did, but I need to hear it from your own mouth.” He replied leaning back in his chair
She sighed finishing her wine before she spoke. “I was tired of being second in your life. I was tired of feeling like an accessory of yours. Like my whole purpose was to just stand there and look pretty. I was tired of your outbursts and your harsh words. I mean you forgot our anniversary!” She spoke sounding more angry towards the end. “But most of all I was just tired of feeling like our love didn’t matter anymore.” Y/n said starting at Crocodile with stern face.
“I see, I’ll…fix it. ” He spoke plainly not knowing how to respond.
“Is that all you have to say?” She asked scoffing
“What would you like me to say?” Crocodile asked raising an eyebrow.
“An apology from you would quite literally mean the world.” She spoke her heart breaking for what felt like the millionth time that year.
“You’re right.” Crocodile sighed. Y/n was surprised at this statement as he was the most stubborn man she’d ever met. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t the husband that my vows to you promised. As you probably heard I was taking over Alabasta and needed to ensure my plan was working correctly I-
“Why didn’t you tell me about that.” She spat remembering reading the paper that stated his terrible acts.
“I was just getting to that, my dear.” Crocodile sighed feeling a headache coming on. “I knew if I told you that you’d disapprove.” He spoke greedily admiring the way her eyes sparkled in the candlelight.
“Of course I do! Crocodile, being a pirate is one thing, but taking over an entire country?!” She spoke angrily pouring herself a hearty glass of wine.
“That’s exactly the reaction I was avoiding.” He grumbled watching his wife drink too much. “I needed to take over Alabasta so I could get their ancient weapons.” He added lowering his voice a little looking around making sure no one was around besides them.
“Ancient weapons?” Y/n asked feeling the affects of the wine.
“Yes, I tried getting them from King Cobra so I could kill my enemies become a stronger, more threatening man. I needed to protect you, the business, and fix my own failures.” Crocodile spoke sounding a little embarrassed at the end.
“That’s a huge load of shit, Crocodile. You hurt a lot of people.” She replied crossing her arms with a scowl on her face.
“Think what you want my dear.” He replied casually. “But I did what I needed to in order to keep you safe.” He added sounding slightly bitter.
“If you really wanted me to be safe with you then why did you treat me so horribly? Keeping me safe doesn’t mean hurting others to do so unless they’ve done me some wrong, like my insane brother. ” She spoke feeling her heart breaking at the awful memories.
“I…” crocodile began to say but couldn’t seem to find the answer.
“I’ll tell you why.” She spoke standing from her seat. “Because you were child and a coward. You couldn’t handle the good things right in front of you. It was like you were completely blind to them! You hurt others to justify your own stupidity. I don’t need protection if it mean the blood of innocents being spilled.” She declared looking at her husband with regret before beginning to walk away too overwhelmed with the conversation now.
“That’s right y/n, run away instead of facing your problems head on!” Crocodile snapped as he too stood up too angry to take her words to heart.
“At least I don’t enslave whole countries all for a past embarrassment!” Y/n snapped back Turing to face the 8’3 tall man looming above her.
“You’re lucky I love you so much.” Crocodile spoke lowly still trying his best to mask his anger.
“Love?” She spat, heart breaking even more. “Is it love that made you go against my brother or was it control?” She asked quietly trying to force her tears from coming.
“Can’t it be both?” Crocodile replied after a small pause feeling an uncomfortable emotion washing over him; regret.
“Control over what?” Y/n askes crossing her arms.
“Controlling my image, my dear. If I look weak, then people can take advantage of you or hurt you.” Crocodile replied stepping closer to her giving her a soft stare. “Because of my past weakness and failures as a husband, you left me. Doflamingo took you and hurt you. That is my failure. I failed you in every way and I’m so sorry.” Crocodile spoke as his eyes burned with tears begging to escape. He took his remaining hand up to her face stroked it softly allowing a singe tear to escape his face. “I’ve hurt so many people and part of me does regret it, despite what people think, I’m not completely heartless!” He added breathing deeply
“Crocodile.” She whispered slightly trembling placing her hand on his shocked to see such vulnerability from him.
“I love you.” Crocodile spoke, his voice breaking. “I love you and I can’t stop. The whole reason I broke out of that dammed prison is because I need to see you again, even though I think I knew I deserved to be there.” He declared holding her hand as though he might never touch her again. Y/n stared into his deep steel eyes with sympathy and admiration at his ability to be so open with her. Finally.
“Crocodile.” She whispered, nearly saying it back. She then moved her hand to his heart. His own hand still on hers. “You fought my brother on that battlefield, saved both Portgus D. Ace and Straw Hat Luffy. But you also tried to back get at Whitebeard.” She spoke as her own emotions confused her.
“I did, I owed to it Straw Hat for helping me escape. But I also wanted to show you that I was a different man or at least one capable of being…better. Attacking Whitebeard, was my last sorry attempt at revenge, one I wish I had disregarded. He wasn’t the same man he was when he beat me all those years ago.” He admitted stroking her hand with his thumb as the cool metal of his ring touched her skin.
“You knew I’d be watching.” She smiled stepping closer.
“I guessed, but if you weren’t then I knew that I did the…right thing helping those boys.” He told her stepping closer until they were inches away from each other.
“It was very noble of you. I found the battle heartbreaking, especially considering how it ended. It felt like all of those souls dying meant nothing.” Y/n said, instinctively placing her head on his stomach for comfort. He softly gasped at her sudden affection, but smiled and wrapped both his arms around her smaller frame hoping she wouldn’t break away.
“It was a bloodbath, despite my wanting you to see me, I wish you hadn’t witnessed that carnage.” Crocodile replied soaking in her warmth. “I won’t be forgetting that day for a long time. The navy has always been a corrupt institution, but that went beyond even what I knew them capable of.” He sneered but calmed down as she held him tighter against her as though she’d never feel warm again.
His hand found it’s way into her hair as she wrapped her arms tighter around him. She breathed in his familiar scent and he did the same. The wind was cold around them, but their combined warmth sheltered them from the cold chill of the night. The candles from dinner were slowly dying out as the night sky illuminated their bodies.
Y/n was still so angry for the past and the horrible traumas that she endured. However, in this moment she knew she was safe and the man she so desperately loved and wanted was right in front of her and he had taken time to save her. And not only that, but seemed to be making an effort to make genuine amends.
“Fully forgiving you will take time Crocodile.” She finally spoke against his expensive satin shirt.
“I know, but I promise I will do anything to prove to you that I want you and our marriage.” He replied kissing her softly on top of her head.
“This is a good start.” She said pulling him closer. “But it’s not just going to be like it was before, I’ll de damned if we end up like that again.” She spoke into him sternly. “You’ve also got to give a hell of an apology for what you did to Alabasta.” She added hoping she could convince this man to do the right thing in this instance.
“I wouldn’t dream of pushing you away like that ever again, my love. And I already have something in mind for Alabasta.” Crocodile replied sounding more honest than she’d ever heard from him.
“Good.” She mumbled deeply inhaling his scent. She then yawned alerting the tall man she was holding.
“Tired are we?” He asked looking down at her smaller figure.
“Terribly, I have been for a long time.” She admitted.
“Get some sleep, get the sleep of the dead while you’re at it.” Crocodile spoke, reluctantly breaking his hold of her. She stared at him the wine making her so tired missing the warmth she felt in his arms.
“Goodnight, Crocodile.” She whispered almost reluctantly as she made her way back to her room leaving Sir Crocodile alone on the deck.

Three Weeks Later…
Crocodiles Pov
It was early as the sun has not risen yet. The dewy sea air filled my lungs from the small window in my room as I laid on my bed. Instinctively, I put my left arm out to feel for her, but felt not warmth at my side. Despite, how well my conversation with Y/n went a few weeks ago, I was no where near close enough to have the privilege of having her warmth when I woke up. We have been more comfortable with each other lately. Eating most meals together and talking like we use to after we first go married. It almost feels like I have my life back, the one I desired when I married her all those years ago.
I had her in my arms. It had been far too long and too uncomfortable for me to not have her there. Honestly, I was a little surprised she hugged me, and for so long. I hoped she didn’t catch how hopelessly I needed her, and how much a simple look from her made me want so do anything for her, just to see her smile. A long time ago, I would’ve scoffed at such a reaction. I would’ve considered it a weakness on my part or that of any man. I’ve killed countless men with the same ideas, always whining about how they needed to get back to their wives or lovers. The look in their eyes always pissed me off, and I never took into consideration their feelings. All I wanted was the money they neglected to pay me or the information they had.
It was challenging starting to become a “better” man, a more caring one. It’s not something I’ve ever really tried to do. I’ve always done things for me, my benefit, or my business. I suppose the whole reason I kept my wife around was because I convinced myself she was for my benefit only. Never considering I loved her for who she was and not what gain I could receive from her. Sighing, I finally stood up from my bed and walked to my closet to dress for the day. In corner of my closet I noticed the small velvet box that contained my most treasured possession; my wife’s wedding ring. I took the soft box in my hand and slipped it into my pocket, just in case she ever decided to wear it again.
As soon as I walked onto the deck, mostly to show intimidation to the crew, I was instantly surprised to see my wife already up. She didn’t seem to notice my presence and I made sure not to move a muscle, so I could observe the ethereal sight before me.
She was dressed in a simple but elegant matching f/c shirt and trousers and a white shawl was wrapped around her shoulders. Her hair softly flowing in the breeze as she stood on the side of the ship watching the sunrise. A small smile was on her face and I swore it was the most peaceful I’d ever seen her. The way the mix of colors kissed her skin made her seem like she was painted by some forgotten god. I felt my cheeks warm at the sight of the woman I was still lucky enough to still call my wife despite our differences.
She looked back at me, finally feeling my presence. I gave her a small smile and walked to her. She graced me with one back as I stood next to her smaller figure both of us looking at the sunrise.
“You’re up early.” I noted watching the waves moved against one another.
“Sleep seemed impossible last night.” She sighed wrapping herself with her shawl tightly.
“Here.” I spoke taking off my usual coat and placing it on her shoulders. It pooled at her feet as my coat engulfed her.
“Thank you, it’s oddly cold today.” She replied smiling as she looked even tinier than before.
“We’re close to a winter island. Should be there in a few days.” I replied lighting my cigar
“It’ll be nice to get off the boat for awhile, even if it’s freezing.” Y/n spoke as the sun shone brighter now.
“Would you like to spend the day with me, once we reach the island?” I suggested blowing smoke to my side so I could avoid blowing it at her.
“Are you asking me on another date, Crocodile?” She teased looking at me fully and I noticed she wasn’t wearing any makeup. The tiredness was on her face, but to me, it only made her beauty shine.
“Why not? It’s been awhile since we’ve been out together.” I replied lifting my hand to stroke her cold cheek. I swore I felt it heat it after I did making me smile at her reaction.
“True, though people will see us together. Might even be in the papers if we’re not careful.” She said
“Is that a problem?” I asked blowing out another puff of smoke.
“No, not unless you care about potential navy ships coming our way.” Y/n replied as the sun finally rose completely.
“I don’t, but it’s up to you if you’d like to go. We need to stock up the ship, so there is danger anyway. But you know I’ve never cared about mere navy soldiers.” I spoke hoping to convince her.
“What would we do on our date?” She asked with a beaming smile despite her tiredness.
“That’s a surprise my dear. One of the maids on board will pack your bag for the day if you’d like to go.” I told her hopping my day planned brings her joy.
“Why not!” She proclaimed taking off my heavy coat and handing it back to me making me raise an eyebrow at her.
“I have to get ready, don’t I?” She spoke waking back into the cabin.
“Be ready in an hour!” I called after her.
And with that she was gone and I knew I needed to impress the hell out of my wife.
———
An Hour Later…
No One’s POV…
They docked at the winter island known as Mount Snowden. Small dots fell casting a light blanket of snow onto the ship. Crocodile was dressed in a lavish winter coat with matching shoes, gloves, and hat. He looked elegant and sophisticated, so much so that even his own crew members were admiring the expensive outfit he adorned. Even Daz Bones seemed impressed, despite years of his boss wearing such fineries. Y/n was dressed similarly wearing a very warm long f/c coat, with matching gloves and black boots that she found tucked away in her closet.
“You look rather lovely, my dear.” Crocodile said offering her his hand as his hair was now lightly covered in snow.
“Thank you!” Y/n replied taking his gloved hand. “So where are we going?” She asked following Crocodile as he began leading them off the ship onto the island.
“Wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, wouldn’t it?” He teased as they made their way off ten ship.
She hummed in response as they began walking, still holding his hand. As they made their way to the small town near the port she noticed stalls filled with goods and crafts lined up through the town. Her eyes lit up in surprise and a smile graced her features. It had been a long while since she had seen a market or even been around any type of normalcy. Doflamingo kept her locked away for so long and she hated him for it. She hated how easily she went back to him knowing that in the past he had been a horrible brother. Her breath became more intense as memories of him filled her mind. During these last few weeks images of her brother would pop into her mind randomly. The wild look on his face as he came into her “room.” How quickly his fist would become bloody as he beat her for reasons she still didn’t know. It became too much as her breathing became more ragged.
“You alright?” Crocodile spoke, snapping her out of her mind, prominent concern on his scarred face.
“Y-yes.” She lied, not wanting to talk about her terrible memories “Just cold.” She added giving him an uncomfortable smile.
“Do you need to turn back?” Crocodile asked softly
“No, I should be okay, thank you though.” She spoke kissing his gloved hand quickly before letting it go to venture to the market ahead.
Crocodile felt worried as he trailed slowly behind her. Despite her recent feelings, she decided to put them in the back of her mind so that she could enjoy her day. All she wanted was one day without thinking of her brother, or thinking about the murder of her beloved brother. Instead, she walked to the first stall she could and struck up a conversation with the vendor.
“Hello there, dear.” The kind faced woman spoke, giving y/n a smile that warmed her aching mind.
“Hello, can I buy these?” Y/n asked picking a necklace that caught her eye, deciding that it would match at least three of her outfits that were in her closet.
“Of course, that will be ten berries.” The woman spoke, looking behind y/!n.
“Sure thing! Although…” y/n replied realizing that she in fact did not have any money on her.
She turned around only to notice Crocodile was already standing there, wallet already in hand. Y/n gave him a thankful smile as she took the wallet from his gloved hand and gave the woman her money. The seller seemed to be awestruck by Crocodile. Her mouth was opened slightly, as a small blush graced her cheeks. She began shaking, not from the cold, but from the sheer aura of the tall man standing by her.
“Are you gonna take my wife’s money or not?” Crocodile asked gruffly, looking bored.
“Y-yes, my apologies, dear.” She spoke quickly, placing the necklace in a small f/c drawstring bag and giving it to y/n and then taking the money.
“Thank you! And no worries! He’s quite distracting.” Y/n joked taking her husbands hand as they began walking through the rest of the market.
“Why did you buy that?” Crocodile asked taking the wallet that y/n held out to him.
“It was pretty and I need some jewelry in my closet.” She replied plainly admiring the booths filled with similar items she had already bought, along with other goods that caught her eye.
“If you want jewelry I’m more than happy to buy you as much as you want.” He said admiring the content smile on his lovers face.
“I know, but I don’t want our relationship to be filled with just that. Though, I do really appreciate you buying me that necklace. Thank you.” She beamed
“Of course, you’re my wife and it’s my job to make you happy. I’m just sorry that for a long time I failed at that.” He spoke, regret lacing his tone.
“I know, but we’ve been doing much better and so far you’ve shown me that you want to change, and I really appreciate it. We have a long way to go, but I’m just happy to be here with you now. And I know that there is no where else I’d rather be then here with you.” Y/n declared making Crocodile stop in his tracks. He couldn’t speak and had no idea how to respond to such a confession, all he could do was smile. “Let’s keep going.” She suggested, tugging on his hand.
“Yes, as nice as this market is, I’ve got some place in mind to take you. And I think you’re going to love it.” He replied, this time pulling her along the streets through the market.
———
They walked for almost an hour through the town that was much bigger than y/n expected it to be. She was thankful for the walk, especially since she had been on the ship for so long. And because she was with the man she loved. Throughout the near hour long walk, they had talked about various different things. Crocodile talked about a business idea he had in mind, hoping she would give her opinion on the matter. To his happiness, she replied suggesting various different details and ideas, fully showing interest in his idea. And Crocodile listened to her go on about her current interests and hobbies she’d like to try one day, ones Crocodile made sure to remember. Now, they stood beneath a red gate that read "Famous Hot Springs." Y/n smiled brightly as she read the sign. She then turned to her husband and gave him a hug that left him speechless. He hugged her back, feeling a comfortable warmth spread across him.
"Thank you." She whispered into his fur winter coat.
"You're quite welcome. I'm glad you still like these." Crocodile replied awkwardly, looking at a nearby tree as he felt a faint blush creep to his cheeks. "Lets go in, shall we?" He suggested, feeling the warmth leave his body as Y/n let go of his body.
"Sure! I'm guessing everything I need is already here?" She asked giving him a teasing grin.
"Naturally, I am always prepared, especially for you." He boasted as they walked through the red gate.
"Welcome to Hotsun." A woman announced giving them a small bow. "Your rooms are ready for you, Mr. Wani." She added looking Crocodile in his eyes.
"Good." Crocodile spoke with a proud smile.
The woman then led the way to the rooms as Crocodile and Y/n followed suit. Y/n laughed to herself making Crocodile raise an eyebrow in question.
"What's so funny, dear." Crocodile asked as he took a puff of his second cigar of the day.
"You went by Mr. Wani?" She laughed quietly
"Of course." Crocodile replied as though it was the most natural thing in the world.
"Crocodile, you are one of the most recognizable men in the world. I don't think it was necessary to use a fake name." Y/n whsipered loud enough for just Crocodile to hear.
“I just wanted to be careful.” He replied simply
“Careful, huh?” She snorted thinking about all of the times he was “careful.”
“I’m a very cautious man, my darling. As you well know.” He joked back, realizing she was right.
“Your rooms, Sir. Madam.” The woman gestured to the two door in front of us.
“Thank you.” Y/n spoke as she opened the door to the left.
The room was beautiful built. It had dark flooring with an elegant rug placed in the middle of the room. The queen bed was fitted with a plush quilt seemingly made of fur with matching accent pillows on top. There was a small fireplace in the corner of the room, already lit with a crackling fire. The lighting was dim, but still bright enough to see every detail of the room. The aroma was that of wood and some sort of floral scent that y/n couldn’t pick up.
“This is perfect!” Y/n spoke with excitement as she made her way to the bed. To her right she noticed a small f/c suitcase with her name placed on top in gold lettering.
“I’m glad this suit is made to your liking madam.” The woman bowed to y/n, then turning to Crocodile as y/n took in more of the room.
“I will leave you now, please let me or any of the other staff know if you need anything. Your dinner will be served tonight at seven at the private gazebo near the pools. Enjoy your stay.” The woman said politely as she bowed once more.
“Good, are the pools empty?” Crocodile asked.
“Yes sir, as you’ve requested.” She spoke.
Crocodile nodded to the woman and she gave him a quick professional smile before walking back. He then made his way into the room y/n was in and stood a foot away from the bed. He looked like he wanted to start a conversation but was confused on how to start.
“Would you like to swim?” Y/n asked realizing the slight awkwardness.
“Sure, let me get changed.” He replied stepping away but not before y/n spoke once more.
“Why did you get two rooms?” She asked
“I thought you’d be more comfortable this way, considering our arrangements on the ship.” He replied plainly
“I guess I thought you might of been more bold.” She replied slightly cringing at herself.
“Would you like me to be?” Crocodile smirked
“Maybe.” She whispered feeling her cheeks heat.
He walked closer to the bed and then dropped to one knee. He took his hand to her face, placing two of his fingers under her chin. He lifted her face and put his face closer to hers. Her breath hitched and her heart quickened at the boldness she asked for. The two of them hadn’t done more than hugged and held hands. This is the first time in a very long time that anything like this had happened to them.
“Y/n.” Crocodile whispered, eyes darting from her eyes to her lips and then back to her beautiful eyes.
“Crocodile.” She replied doing the same only her eyes wandered to his scar. She took her hand and placed her fingers on it making Crocodile flinch slightly.
He leaned into her touch and in doing so made their noses brush together and their lips mere inches apart. Crocodile inches closer to her as y/n closed her eyes in anticipation only to feel his lips press on her forehead. She opened her eyes only to see that he’d stood up giving her a smirk.
“I’ll see you at the pools, my dear.” He said as he walked to his room leaving y/n mind fuzzy and her heart beating faster than before.

Crocodile’s POV
I left her room feeling frantic, my heart was beating out of my chest. I sat on my own bed and raked my hand through my now too long hair. The way her face looked when I touch her, when I came so close to her. I knew she wanted it, I knew she wanted to kiss me just as much as I did her. But, somehow, I managed to against both of our wishes. I am a selfish man at heart, especially when it comes to her. And yet, I couldn’t be selfish because I knew if I kissed her, I wouldn’t be able to stop kissing her. And right now, I don’t want to start anything she might regret. All it took was one look from her to make me completely submit to her. She has a power over me like no other has ever had. And that’s why I married her.
“Fuck.” I groaned, damming my arousal aching in my pants. I needed her and only her and just that look in her eyes brought me to this.
I phased into sand before reappearing with my clothes now discarded leaving me fully naked. My arousal was throbbing and I knew that it wouldn’t go away unless I did something about it. And I wasn’t just about to ask my wife to help me, not without embarrassing myself or my my fear of making her uncomfortable.
Instead, I took my only and still adorned with my rings and spit in my hand. I then brought it to my sizable length and began pumping it with her face firmly on my mind. I closed my eyes imagining her eyes, her lips, her body, and her voice. My breathing became heavier as my chest rose faster. I quietly moaned her name feeling my body erupt with pleasure. I was close her name coming off my lips like a prayer. Finally, with only last pump and a grit of my teeth, I felt myself come undone.
“Fuck, y/n…y/n.” I moaned out as quietly as I could feeling my body beginning to calm and my arousal finally quenched. I laid there for another moment y/n still on my mind as she had been for so long, before a knock was heard at my door.
“Crocodile!” Y/n yelled outside. “Are you coming?” She added sounding mildly impatient.
“Just did.” I thought to myself
“I’ll be there shortly my dear!” I called back looking at the mess I made.
“Okay, I’ll be in the first pool. Don’t forget your coat.” She scolded as I heard her footsteps walking away from my door.
“That woman will be the absolute death of me.” I chucked as I got ready to meet her.

Your Pov
I sat there in the pools for around ten minutes soaking up the minerals and breathing in the cold island air. This place was so beautiful. The sky was littered with little specks of snow falling down and the ground was blanketed in it too. The only place that was barren was the stone walkway that lead to the pools of various sizes. The pool I sat in was the one closest to my room. It’s warmth contrasted with the bitter cold outside made for a comforting sensation. I didn’t realize how much my muscles aches until I soaked in these waters.
“Seems like your already enjoying yourself.” A deep voice spoke from beside me.
“Oh god!” I yelped looking up in surprise only to see my expected party.
“Didn’t mean to startle you, darling.” He spoke taking off his fur coat exposing his ripped body.
“You brought a coat.” I spoke, happy he listened to me.
“Of course, I only did as you asked.” He replied setting down his coat revealing his black swimtrunks.
I didn’t respond to that as I let myself stare at his very toned body. He was smaller than I remember him being, but I guess that’s from all the time spent in Impel down. He was still wearing his hook and rings and of course had his cigar tucked in the corner of his mouth.
“Y/n.” He spoke trying to get my attention.
“Y-yes.” I stuttered out, finally composing myself.
“How’s the water, is it to your liking?” He asked stepping in the pool. He then sat next to me leaving around a foot of space between us.
“It perfect.” I beamed. “Thank you for being me here.” I added as I turned my body to face him.
“Hmm.” He grunted setting his head back and mimicking the position I was in before he arrived. “You’re wearing your new necklace.” He said softly.
“It’s a beautiful thing.” I replied, touching the necklace pendant.
“You’ve always liked beautiful things my dear, it’s a wonder you married me.” Crocodile joked, sinking further into the hot pool.
“You know why I married you.” I replied softly, daring to scoot a little further to him.
He didn’t respond as the two of us fell into a comfortable silence. While this trip was a surprise, It felt so eerily natural to be here together. It almost felt like being on one of the trips we’d use to take when we first got together. Crocodile liked to really spoil me then. Looking back on it now, I suspect that’s the best way he knew how to show his love for me. He wasn’t a man of sentimental worlds, but used his money and his fame to get what he wanted. I realized now how much I loved it, but wished he would’ve have just spent more time loving me in another way, one more personal. Though, now he was trying and he was being the man that I always wanted him to be. I just hoped that his would last.
Time passed comfortably and somewhere in that time Crocodiles hookless arm made its way around my body and my head was resting on his chest. His steady heart beat was lulling me to sleep and just was I was about to close my eyes, I heard his deep voice speak.
“Y/n, my dear, are you awake.” Crocodile asked shaking my body softly.
“Mmm, yeah.” I groaned as I lifted my head to look in his steel eyes.
“Are you hungry?” He asked
“I could eat.” I smiled, as I noticed he leaned closer.
“Let’s get out then.” He spoke leaning closer now.
“Sure.” I whispered as my lips ghosted his. His eyes were searching mine and it felt like he was looking for an answer to a question. I only hoped I could answer it.
I pressed forward putting my lips softly on his. I lingered there closing my eyes hoping to feel him press back. Only, I felt nothing. He was stiff was a board and so I pulled away with bubbling embarrassment. I didn’t look at him, I felt shame regret for being so bold. I thought that he would want to kiss me after what happened earlier in my room.
“I’m sorry.” I whispered still not looking at him.
“Why on earth would you be sorry?” He bit back back grabbing my chin like he did earlier. Only this time, he kissed me, hard.
The embarrassment I felt left me immediately as I grabbed the back of his head and pushed him closer to me, pressing my lips on his just as hard. He picked up my body and set me on his. Because of our height difference I had to nearly stand to kiss him, despite him sitting. I pulled on his raven hair and felt him groan in my mouth. His arms wrapped around me, holding me close as thigh he’d never met me go, not that I wanted him to.
“Um…excuse.” A voice called. “E-excuse me?” They called out again causing me to stop to see who just interrupted us.
“What!” Crocodile snapped
“F-forgive me sir and madam, but your dinner is ready.” The man spoke, very obviously nervous.
“Thank you, we will be there shorty.” I replied softly, feeling slightly awkward in my current position.
“Of course.” He bowed and then walked away.
“I’ll…go get ready.” I spoke, as I got off Crocodiles larger body.
“I’ll meet you there.” He replied as I noticed a rather large tent in his pants. My breath hitched and I swallowed thickly, feeling my own arousal aching.
“Yeah, I’ll see you.” I replied, getting out of the pool and waking very quickly back to my room, my cheeks feeling very, very hot.

No one’s pov
After Y/n and Crocodiles sudden burst of passion, there was this strange awkward feeling in the air. They both hurriedly dressed for their shared dinner in the heated gazebo. Crocodile was the first to arrive inspecting the food and china, making sure it was up to his standards. When he felt it was perfect, he sat down and waited for y/n. He felt better than he had in months and it all started as soon as his wife kissed him. She made the first real move, she wanted him. And now Crocodile felt as though he had finally won her back.
“I’m sorry, I know I’m late!” The woman in question called out as she stepped into the gazebo.
“My don’t you look ravishing, my dear.” Crocodile complimented as he admired her and the f/c dress she wore.
“Thank you.” She replied slightly breathless as she took him in as well. He wore a black suit with a black undershirt. He wore no tie, and his shirt was unbuttoned , slightly teasing his chest. His golden hook back in its place. She felt herself warm at the sight of him. “You look quite handsome too.” She spoke as she sat down in the chair across from him.
The two of them ate, drank, and had conversations that felt lighter than before. Despite the passion from earlier, the awkwardness they had both felt was cracking away. The sun was beginning to set as they took their last bite of the night.
“Goodness, that was amazing.” Y/n sighed as she leaned back in her chair slightly. “I should’ve worn a bigger dress.” She joked taking a small sip of wine to wash the remaining food down.
“I’m glad this was to your satisfaction.” Crocodile replied feeling full himself.
“This whole day was so lovely, thank you.” Y/n yawned.
“Tired are we?” He asked mimicking her prior action.
“Yes, that spring took it out of me. How long are we staying on this island?” She asked as she felt her eyes grow heavier.
“I planned on staying here three days, we could stay longer if you’d like.” He offered giving her a soft glance.
“Maybe, I would love to visit the market again.” Y/n sighed
“Let’s go to bed, shall we?” Crocodile asked as he stood from his chair and offered her is hand.
“Yes.” She replied taking his warm hand
———
“Goodnight, and thank you for today.” Y/n said as she stood in the doorway to her bedroom.
“Goodnight, y/n.” He whispered back. He paused for a moment, staring at her beauty. Prior actions from today left him feeling a confidence he hadn’t had in a long time. “What me to stay tonight?” He asked, his heart beating fast.
She craned her head to look at him. He looked almost like he was begging, and his man never did. She had never seen this proud man look so desperate, so hopeful as he stared at her awaiting the answer. His eyes swirled with love and adoration too, as the realization that his wife was at last, finally in front of him and not some memory that he could only wish would come true. She was his truth, his salvation, and he has been such a foolish and proud man not to realize how much he needed her and desperately loved her. And desperately hoped that he could kiss her again, just like he did in those springs.
“Please.” He softly cried out cringing at himself for sounding so desperate, his confidence breaking.
“I just…don’t want to move too fast.” She replied, contradicting her past actions as her heart ached at the sight of him.
“I understand, I…apologize” He said as he began to walk to his own room next door.
“Wait…” she cried out. The words she so desperately wanting to say but couldn’t find the words to. “Goodnight.” She whispered, as Crocodile gave her one last longing glance before disappearing into his own room.
Your Pov
I shouldn’t have kissed him, it was in the heat of the moment and I blame those dammed springs. Clearly, my head wasn’t on straight. I sighed and threw myself onto the plush bed, flipping on it dramatically. I groaned into the mattress still angry with myself for not controlling myself with him. Everything’s been going so perfectly. He’s been perfect and I can fully see that he’s putting our marriage first. Though, a part of me is still unsure how long this will last and that feeling has been nagging at me for far too long. All I want is to move forward with everything, to have my life, my husband, and my sanity back. But all of those things were taken from me and I feel like I haven’t had time to fully piece myself back together. My brother haunts me, and even though this day was perfect, I still couldn’t get his filthy face out of my mind and it nearly cost the day. I’m terrified that if Crocodile knew the extent of how deep my fear goes, that he will never want me again. That the wife he tried so hard to get back is not the same woman he married. He promised that I’d never seen brother again, but how can he keep that promise when he plagues my dreams. I was too tired and too emotionally spent to think anymore, and so without any regard for the clothes I was wearing, I fell asleep.
The room was dark and brutally cold as I lay there frozen from the pain he had inflicted on me.
“This is for your own good, my sweet sister.” Doflamingo sneered
I tried desperately to reply, to scream at him to stop, that I would be his obedient sister, if he only fucking stopped. But my voice never came, only the crackling remnants of it came out as my throat was already raw from screaming.
I pushed myself further against the cold wall, desperately trying to gain any kind of space from him. The red of his glasses illuminated in the dark space making my panic increase. Tears poured down my swollen cheeks making them sting.
His fist came at me like a flash and I had no choice but to try and dodge, only to fail miserably. Intense waves of pain shot through me from my stomach and finally my voice called out.
“Stop!” I cried out in desperation
“Stop what? You deserve this, take your punishment like a good girl. Prove to me that you won’t betray me like our dear dead brother.” Doflamingo screamed hitting me angina and again and again.
“Stop” I pleaded in a chocked sob
Suddenly, I feel a strong hand shaking my body. I shot up thrashing, desperately trying to push this thing off of me. Instead of pushing it off me, I felt my face land on something soft, warm, and familiar. I heard shushing and a thunderous heartbeat that started calming me. As well as a nearby light illuminating my once too dark room.
“My love, you’re alright. Your dreams can’t hurt you now.” Crocodile spoke in a voice I’d heard only once before.
“But he… he was here. He was here.” I whispered, holding onto my husband.
“He’s not here, I can promise you. You will never see him again. I’d kill him before that ever happened.” He said as though it was a fact. “Now, I need you to breathe for me.” He added taking his hand and stroking my hair.
I did just that, taking slow and shaky breaths I felt my heart beat slow. His warmth and the sound of his heart pounding lulled me back to myself. Back to the reality that I was safe, I was free of that man, free of that life, free of the woman I was.
“There we go.” He whispered
“Why did you come?” I finally managed to ask.
“Heard you scream and the wall dividing us is paper thin.” He replied.
“That’s not what I asked.” I replied as I hugged his body closer to mine.
“Hmm.” He hummed, kissing the top of my head. “I thought you might… need me.” He added after a moment.
“I’m glad you’re here.” I whispered taking a deep breath. “I need you.” I cried feeling my heart ache.
“Look at me.” He asked
“I lifted my head to do as he asked. And instead of looking in his eyes, I felt his lips on mine.
My eyes widened at the sudden pressure, but melted into the kiss. It was the softest he’d ever kissed me or held me. As much as I appreciate his gentleness, I knew I needed more. So, I deepened it and pushed my tongue in his mouth. He grunted at this as his danced with mine.
“I love you.” I spoke against his mouth as I tugged on his raven hair.
He pulled away and looked at me like I had just said the most unbelievable thing. His lips were swollen and his pupils were dilated. His right hand made its way to my face. I smiled contentedly and leaned into his touch. He kissed my forehead softly before placing his forehead on mine, kissing my nose. We stayed like this for a moment just breathing each other in.
“I love you too. I don’t think you realize how long I’ve been waiting for you to say that.” He said
“I’ve been meaning to, I was just…scared.” I said giving him a quick kiss.
“I understand that. I was an…unsavory husband.” Crocodile spoke, pulling me back on his shirtless chest.
“You’ve changed. I was so skeptical about considering who you are. But you have changed and I just want this to last.” I whispered feeling my eyes begin to water.
“It will I spent too much time away from you and I never want that to happen again. You’re my greatest weakness but somehow I’m stronger when you’re near.” He confessed as I heard his heart beat faster.
“I love you. I love you. I love you.” I whispered
I kissed his chest softly, slowly, making sure to relish in the feel of him against my lips. I heard Crocodile sigh as I made my way up towards his neck. I then kissed it and then nipped at it. He grunted as I continued to kiss and bite him.
“You’re going to be the ruin of me.” He groaned
“Good.” I replied
As I was mid kiss I felt my back lay softly into the mattress and my husbands body hovering over mine. I moaned at the sudden sensation as he mimicked my earlier actions. He kissed me everywhere he could, and I could tell he was taking his time with me. He kissed in between my breast making me shudder as he made his way to my stomach, and then my thighs.
“Tell me to stop.” He spoke sounding like he couldn’t believe he’d said that.
“Don’t. Please I need you. I’ve needed you for so long.” I whined as I nicked my hips as he kissed my clothed pussy.
“Good. Now I need to get this off.” He said speaking about my pj bottoms. I lifted my hips, but his hand had already ripped this off my body. I gasped and looked at him with wide eyes.
“I liked those!” I cried out
“I’ll get you more. I’ll get you some in every fucking color if you want.” He groaned
He then latched himself on my aching core. I gripped his hair as I softly rocked myself on his mouth. One of his large fingers entered me and I cried out his name at the feeling. The overwhelm sensation of his tongue and his finger pushed me over the edge faster than I expected it to. I threw my head back as my orgasm shot throughout my body. My legs squeezed around his head and I almost thought I was suffocating him.
“That’s my girl.” He complimented kissing my pussy once more.
He then lifted off me as I was still panting, still coming down from my intense high. Crocodile smiled wickedly as he crashed his lips hard onto mine. I tasted myself slightly on his lips and moaned onto his mouth. He abruptly stopped and lifted off of me and that’s when I saw how excited he was and how beautiful. His body was huge and before I could admire it further, he pulled his own pants down and allowed his aching cock to spring free from them. My mouth watered at the sight of his cock and remembered how good it use to make me feel. My arousal was all consuming and I felt like I needed him more than anything. I reached for him but as soon as I tried he already grabbed me and flipped me on top of him. I gasped as I felt his hard length between my legs. I then began rubbing my pussy up and down.
“Fuck.” I cried out as his cock touched my sensitive clit.
He grabbed my right hip and guided my body as he began to move his hips with mine. That wicked smile was still plastered on his face.
“It’s been a long time my dear, still think you can take me?” He teased moving me faster against him.
I responded by lifting my hips up and aligned his took big cock in my pussy. Slowly, I inched it up inside of me, clenching my teeth at the pain and pleasure. I cried out at I made it a little more than halfway down. Crocodile grunted still holding my hip as he helped me slowly take him fully. The feeling of him inside me was familiar, but nearly too intense. I shook on him and my pussy clenched hard on him.
“There we are. You did so good. Such a perfect wife.” He cooed lifting my shirt. “Let’s take this off shall we?” He asked as I lifted my night shirt of my shaky body.
“F-fuck. Gods I nearly forgot how big you were.” I moaned out placing my hand on his chest.
“Take your time my love. We have all night.” He reassured as he pushed my hair back from my face making my face feel incredibly hot.
After a few moments of letting myself get use to him, I began to move. It was slow and I could tell it was too slow for Crocodile, but he didn’t say anything. I moved up and down his length, shutting my eyes and the incredible pleasure. I panted and moaned his name and he did the same. Once I felt more comfortable, I moved faster letting myself get lost in the feeling of him.
“Crocodile!” I cried out gripping onto his chest as my legs shook.
“I’ve got you my love, I’ve got you.” He moaned out as he began to buck his hips into me.
Time seemed to stop as we melted together. Our bodies felt as though they were fusing together in a rhythm only we knew. Crocodile pulled out of me making me whine as he then pushed me onto my stomach. I felt his tip brush against me as he plunged himself inside of me once more. We both cried out, though mine were muffled my the pillow. He starred slow just like I did before. Only he didn’t part as long before he began moving at a faster pace than I had gone. It was too much but I didn’t want him to stop. I wanted more, I wanted him deeper still knowing when I woke up the next day I wouldn’t be able to move.
“Please.” I whined out even though it came out strangled.
“Such a sweet thing just for me. Want me to come inside of you my dear. He asked still fucking me in a ruthless pace.
“Y-yes!” I moaned gripping the sheets in anticipation not caring about the repercussions of it.
He then stopped, cock fully inside me as I felt him spill everything he had to offer. A blanket of warmth spread inside of me. He moaned my name like a prayer as I saw him throw his head back. Once he was done, he slowly pulled out of my sore pussy.
“Let’s get you cleaned up.” He suggested, but I was already passed out from exhaustion.
———
The next morning I awoke sore, but felt lighter than I had in months. I was naked but the cold I expected to feel wasn’t there. Instead a large hookless harm rested around my body and my back was nestled into my husbands chest. I slowly turned around to look at him, hoping I wouldn’t wake him up. But to my surprise, he was awake and smiling at me.
“Good morning.” I whispered as I touched his face.
“Morning,” he replied in a deeper voice than usual.
I leaned in for a kiss and received one so sweet it felt as though my mouth was full of sugar.
“Sorry I passed out last night.” I spoke as I stared into his comforting steel eyes.
“S’fine. I had to clean you up though, so you missed my chivalry.” He smirked as I rolled my eyes.
“We’ll thank you. That explains why I don’t feel so gross.” I commend, kissing his nose.
“You don’t regret it do you?” Crocodile asked, evident worry on his tired face.
“No, it was bound to happen sometime.” I replied feeling saddened by his question.
“Good.” He hummed pulling me close to him. “I need to ask you something and I need you to give me your honest answer.” He stared. I simply nodded into his chest. “Would you marry me again?” He asked sounding slightly nervous.
My eyes grew wide at the question and I looked up at him, though he eyes didn’t meet my gaze. I hadn’t considered something like that at all nor had my mind seemed to question the whereabouts of my wedding ring. Though, as much as I would like to know where it was, I needed to answer him.
“Yes, but only as long as you never go back to being the man I had to leave.” I replied sternly as I forced him to look into my e/c eyes.
“I’d rather die.” He spoke truthfully making my smile reach my eyes.
“Good. Say, do you know where my ring is?” I asked hopefully not sounding too desperate.
“In my coat pocket. I brought it just in case.” Crocodile spoke plainly.
“Of course you did.” I laughed feeling relieved that things were finally where they should have been all along. “You have my heart, I hope you know that.” I spoke honestly
“And you have mine, forever.” Crocodile replied and I knew he meant it.

Sanemi is late for their anniversary due to fighting demons but come back home to reader tied on the bed waiting for him
I’d love to!💜 Sorry this took so long I’ve had a lot going on.
Tied Up Surprises
Sanemi x Male!reader
In which you surprise your husband during your anniversary…
18+SMUT ,Fluff, rough sex, bondage play, fingering, blowjobs, body worship, nipple play, sub reader, rough language.
“Die you filthy creature!” Sanemi roared as he slashed the last pesky demon of the night.
His mission was suppose to be quick and simple but there was a miscalculation that caused him to run late. Instead of one of the lower moon demons lurking around, there were five, along with countless other lower level demons. It brought this strong Hashira no trouble at all as he sliced through them with ease. However, he was internally frustrated as today was him and his beloveds anniversary and this year he promised to be on time.
“Dammit!” He yelled as he ran quickly through the night, urgently trying to get back to his husband.
He felt as though he was running faster than he had ever run in his entire career. The desperation to see you, especially on such an important day, was all that was on his mind. Your relationship was the reason he fought as hard as he did now. And there was no way he wanted to miss out on celebrating the love that had blossomed over the years.
Sanemi was now so close that he could see the wisteria that you had planted around your shared house. Along with your homemade paper lanterns that were placed on posts. Sanemi’s heart raced with excitement seeing the familiar building and even more so seeing your beautiful face. He caught a quick breath before opening the door to the house. He took off his sword and shoes, along with his signature robe and uniform, placing them on the floor. He was now shirtless leaving him in his undergarments. He then quickly went to his hiding spot where he left your anniversary present.
“Y/n!” He called out holding your gift. “I’m home babe! Dammed demons took too much of my time.” He added looking around for you.
“Welcome home! I’m in the bedroom honey!” You called out smiling to yourself.
“Sorry I was late hon I- He paused as he walked through the door way into your room.
There you laid in your f/c silken lingerie that cling to your body perfectly. Your hands were perfectly bound together as they hung from the door frame. Somehow, despite all of the years the two of you had been together, you surprised your husband.
“Y/n, now I’m really sorry I was late.” Sanemi whispered dropping the present as he began to rip his remaining clothes off.
“No worries my love. You work so hard all of the time, you deserve special surprises.” You cooed feeling yourself begin to get excited at the sight of your very ripped husband.
Sanemi was now fully naked and his cock was nearly fully hard. He got himself onto the bed hovering over your frame. The lingerie set happened to be the first one he ever gifted you. And seeing you still looking as sexy as you did the first time you wore it, ignited an intense passion within him.
“Kiss me.” You whispered closing your eyes
He responded by crashing his lips on yours desperately. After the day he had and the beautiful present he walked into, he needed you. His tongue entered your mouth greedily as if he was devouring you. You slightly moaned at this action letting him take control. Sanemi then pulled off leaving you sad for a brief moment before he latched onto your neck.
Your back arched a little as your husband kissed and sucked all of the sensitive areas on your neck. You slightly moaned out his name causing him to grunt slightly. He then moved down your body making sure to admire how the lace hugged your curves in all of the right places.
“Honey, how the hell can your body be so damn perfect.” Sanemi grunted glancing down at the parties that held your pretty cock.
“For you.” You moaned out as he pushed the parties aside letting your now hardened cock spring out.
“Damn right love. Before I fuck you, I think you deserve a nice little treat for this gift you gave me.” Sanemi spoke looking at you in the eyes briefly before looking back at your cock.
“Please love.” You whimpered understanding what he meant.
“Such a good boy.” Your husband cooed
Sanemi glanced at your pretty cock once more before taking it into his mouth. Your head flung back into your pillow as you moaned out. Your husband bobbed his head slowly as he cupped your balls softly. His other hand made it up to one of your nipples, pinching the nub softly making you gasp. He pulled off your cock making you wine. Sanemi shushed you taking his hand off your balls and sticking two of his fingers into his mouth.
“Pull your legs up love. I’m gonna make you feel so good.” He spoke as you did what he asked.
He then took the now wet fingers and slowly pushed them into your hole as his other hand still played with one of your nipples. Once his fingers were fully in, he left them there for a moment letting you adjust to them. He took your still hard cock into his mouth and began pleasuring you there once more.
“Honey! Please move them!” You begged as your husband chuckled in response.
The feeling of his mouth and fingers was overwhelming your body. You knew you would cum soon but you needed the fingers in your hole to move desperately. As if Sanemi could read your mind, he began to move his fingers right on your sweet spot.
“F-fuck!” You moaned out pulling on your restraints a little.
Sanemi then moved his fingers faster making sure to spread your hole in preparation for him. He bobbed his head on your cock like a starved man. Your eyes rolled in the back of your head as the familiar burn of an orgasm crept up. Suddenly, you felt your husband push a third finger into you continuing with his rapid pace.
“Oh fuck!” You cried out at all of the pleasures at once overwhelmed you. Your body spasmed as you came hard shooting your cum into the back of your husbands throat making him moan.
He kept your cock in his mouth making sure all of your cum wasn’t wasted. As he did that, he slowly removed all of his fingers making you moan at the loss of them. Then he slowly let go of your now soft cock. He licked his lips as he looked into your glassy eyes giving you a wild smile.
“You did so well for me my love. Think you can handle me now?” He asked as you noticed his very erect cock slick with precum. You took a deep breath at the sight of it. It was the perfect length with the tip being a pretty red color. Despite being married for years, you got excited every time you saw it and you knew he felt the same way about yours.
“Please.” You spoke still hazy from your orgasm.
“My husband.” Sanemi cooed as he lifted your legs on his shoulders and positioned his needy with your hole.
“Mhm.” You moaned pulling on your restraints in anticipation.
“God such a pretty boy you are. All tied up like a present just for me.” He spoke as he slowly pushed himself into you grunting softly. “Fuck.” He moaned as he filled you completely with his cock gripping your thighs enough to leave a slight bruise.
“Baby please.” You wined enjoying the blissful feeling of your husbands big cock inside you.
“Don’t worry love, I’ll move soon. Gotta make sure you’re really ready for me.” Sanemi spoke kissing your knee softly as he cock warmed you for a few moments. Soon though, he could tell both of you were far too antsy. He slowly moved his cock earning a breathy moan from your lips.
He gritted his teeth at your tightness and warmth. His body shook slightly at this feeling and as much as he wanted to take his time, he needed to feel you more. Sanemi then picked up the pace fucking your sweet spot roughy as you cried out his name. Your cock became hard once more from the stimulation your husband gave you. Sanemi took notice and began stroking your cock making your already overwhelmed body shake more. His pace was ruthless and you could feel his heavy balls slap against your ass.
“You’re doing so fucking good for me!” Sanemi grunted slamming his hips against you harder. “Take it, fuck!” He moaned stroking you slightly faster.
“Sanemi I’m g-gonna cum soon!” You cried out body shaking more.
“Me too baby, me too! Want me to cum inside you don’t you baby!” Sanemi yelled giving your ass a hard slap.
“Y-yes!” Was all you could say as you relished in the pain of his spank.
“Good boy fuck. I’m gonna cum!” He grunted loudly spilling his seed deep inside your ass.
“Fuck! Ah!” You moaned out too feeling even fuller than before. You then felt that familiar coil snap. Your eyes widened as you came all over your stomach and your husbands strong hand.
“Good, you did so good for me my darling.” Sanemi cooed pulling out of you slowly.
“Thank you.” You whispered “Happy anniversary.” You added giving him a tired smile.
“Happy anniversary my love. Let’s get you out of these restraints.” Sanemi said untying your hands. “Now let’s get you cleaned up?” He suggested
“That sounds so lovely.” You smiled wrapping your arms around your husband. You felt him pick up your tired body as he walked you both to the bathroom to clean up after your passionate night together.

In which you are trapped with Doflamingo and the “family” but your husband is on his way…
TW, Angst, mentions of serious violence, suicidal thoughts, Doflamingo abuses reader. Crocodile comes to the rescue.
Your Pov
Two months have passed since Doflamingo had admitted to murdering our brother Rosi. Two months that I’ve had to keep up appearances all because I’m terrified that I’ll end up just like him. Doflamingo has become closer to me claiming that I’m the last part of his past family and he doesn’t want anything to happen to me. Truthfully, I think he just wants to control me and the ounce of freedom I had left.
No matter where I go, or what I do, he’s always watching. He always has someone looking out for me. Even if it’s just to go to the Saturday market or to read in my room.Someone is always watching. The only real privacy I have is when I go to the bathroom. Although, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that becomes watched too. I’m terrified daily and the past mental trauma I’ve mostly healed from has come back, and it’s worse than it was before. I feel I'm losing who I am and becoming the scared little girl I use to be. The girl who lost her mother to a curable illness and father to her deranged brother. When I was younger I convinced myself that Doffy killing our father was justified. That our father's radical ideas killed our mother, so for years I deluded myself into praising my big brother for his terrible act.
Suddenly, a booming knock on my door startled me out of my thoughts, as my heart felt like it leapt out of my already aching chest. I scrambled to open the door quickly, fearing the worst if I didn't. As I opened the door I was unfortunately greeted with the sight of the evil I feared the most. We stared at each other for a moment. His malicious grin staring back at me as he towered above me suffocating me. I stared into the red of his glasses that hid the truth in his eyes filling me with a dread that I never knew I could feel.
"Well, aren't you going to greet your big brother, Y/n." Doflamingo sneered pushing his way through the door.
"H-hello brother." I greeted stumbling back a bit but catching myself as to not look weak in front of him.
"You haven't been very friendly with the family, our family." He spoke grabbing my face.
"I'm sorry, I just haven't been feeling well lately and I didn't want to involve them." I replied sounding as sincere as possible.
"They are family Y/n, I'm sure they can handle it." Doflamingo snapped. "Why haven't you come to me?" He asked bending down to my height
"I guess I didn't want to involve you too, brother." I softy said keeping my eyes on his crimson glasses.
"I hope this isn't about Corazon. Because that traitor doesn't deserve your sadness Y/n." He frowned as I felt heart beat on my ribs.
"Of course not." I stammered trying to push the thoughts of my murdered brother out of my head.
"Oh really, then why are you lying!" He yelled as he quickly knocked over the standing mirror to the left of us.
"I'm not!" I yelled
"Yes you are! How dare you think of him! He never loved you, I did! He abandoned you for the Marines! He abandoned us you stupid girl!" Doflamingo spat coming so close I could feel his spit on my face. My anger began to flow as all of the fear I felt recently seemed to disappear.
"He did what he had to to stay far away from you! You fucking psycho!" I screamed looking at him with pure hatred.
Suddenly, I found myself on the ground. My body stung and my face felt red hot with searing pain. Then, without warning, my stomach my hit over, and over, and over again. I couldn't think, I couldn't move as I could feel my blood all over me. My vision was cloudy with red and then suddenly, I felt nothing at all.
Hours Later...
Hell, this was hell. I woke up from the most horrible nightmare, except it was my new reality. Doflamingo had beaten me so badly that I couldn't move. My body was in so much pain that even the slightest movement hurt. Even breathing seemed impossible in my current state. However, what made it worse was that he was seated next to me crying hysterically, and that terrified me more than anything else. I slowly looked at him showing my emotion in my eyes as my face hurt too much to move. He took notice of my eyes on him and make an unfamiliar face.
"Y/n, you're awake! I'm so sorry I hurt you, my dear sister!" He spoke uncharacteristically. I didn't respond, not like I could anyway. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything." He attempted to comfort. "I wish you didn't say all those things Y/n. If you hadn't this would have never happened. I promise it will never happen again, as long as you behave yourself." Doflamingo promised "I love you sister, and nothing will ever keep me from you again."
My eyes widened by what he did next, as the horror of my new reality set in again. He kissed my cheek and softly caressed my other. His tears fell upon my face making me cry out from the stinging sensation of them. He paid no attention to my cries and instead placed his massive head onto my belly. He stayed there for a long time crying and singing to himself as I lay there helpless as my pain got worse. And then, he lifted his head, took his signature glasses off and stared at me with eyes I hadn't seen since I was a child. Those brilliant blue eyes stared into mine sending shivers through my abused body.
"I've called for the Tonttata Princess to come and help ease your pain my sweet sister. But, you needed to suffer for a while, so you could understand how you have made me feel. I never wanted to do that to you, but it had to happen." He cooed giving you one last kiss on my bruised cheek. He then placed his glasses back on his face as I felt a wave of relief wash over me. Because now those foreign blue eyes wouldn't be staring straight into my weary soul.
———
After a few moments, the tiny princess came into the room along with two of Doflamingo's guards. She looked at you and tears left her. Not out of sadness but of anger for Doflamingo. She knew who you were, everyone in the castle did, but she definitely never expected to see you in such a state.
"Heal her." Doflamingo commanded scaring the captured princess.
"Y-yes, young master." She squeaked
Soon, the light of her healing devil fruit powers illuminated your body. She placed her hands gently on your body, making sure not to bring you further discomfort. suddenly, your body was encompassed in light and the searing pain you had felt for hours was going away. For the first time in what felt like ages, you felt so safe and comfortable. This princess's powers were remarkable and you just wished she wasn't being held captive too.
"All done, she might feel sore for awhile and some of the bruises might return, but all of the major injuries are gone." The Princess told Doflamingo, her eyes not meeting his.
"Good, return the princess to her room. I need to speak to her alone." Doflamongo cheered
Once everyone but you and Doflamingo were out of the room, he suddenly engulfed you into a hug. You froze not knowing what to do in this situation. You heard him sniffling as he held you closer to him. He stroked your hair pushing you further into his toned chest.
"Will you forgive me?" He then asked nuzzling intro your hair
"Yes." You whispered fearing if you said anything else that you would end up in in the same situation as you did just moments ago.
"That makes me happier than you could ever understand, Y/n." Doflamingo spoke as he lifted your head and placed an uncomfortable kiss on your temple. "Despite what you might think you are better off with me than you are with that cranky man you once called your husband. I hope you know that." He added stroking your once bruised cheek.
"Yes." You spoke again still fearing your previous fate.
"You've always been such a good girl, guess that's why mother and father adopted you." He laughed still holding your shaking body against his. "You are the most precious thing to me now, and nothing is ever going to stop that. And no one will take you away from me, I promise this to you." Doflamingo spoke confidently.
———
For the next couple of weeks, this became your new routine. Doflamingo would be mad at something and would come to you for comfort. Despite all of the promises that no harm would come to you by anyone else, he made no such promises for himself. So, instead of talking he would thrash you around like he did all of those weeks ago. And just like all of those weeks ago, the captured princess would be taken from her cell and come heal your abused body. You had became so accustomed to this, that you almost looked forward to the beating just so you could feel her beautiful light around your body. In a twisted way it became your personal drug. When he wasn't beating you, he would force you to come everywhere with him, almost as if you were his dog. He even closed your flower shop due to you not being able to be close enough to him.
Your mind often drifted to happier places when it could. Whenever you dreamed it would only be of your past life with Crocodile. His warmth and embrace comforted you during the times you were alone in cold room. His voice sometimes echoed through your mind, making you smile even when you forgot how to. The love you shared with Crocodile was gone now, but your memories of him would never be forgotten. You resented your decision to leave him, especially with the current situation you were in now. You wished you had just stayed and tried to talk to him. Things with your husband weren’t perfect, but you knew deep down that he really did love you. And now all you craved was to be set free from this nightmare and be back in his warmth.
Although, you craved him in ways you never had before, part of you feared that he no longer wanted you. That even if he knew of your situation and changed heart that maybe it was too late now. Your last conversation was proof of that, but you figured if you could change so could he. Though, given how stubborn your husband can be, you thought that wasn’t likely. What you did know was that you were stuck in this beautiful country with the most vile man of all. And to top it all off, there was nothing you could do to stop it. Nothing anyone could do now to stop it. And that thought terrified you like no other. So much so that you thought death was a better option than continuing to endure this hell.

One Month Earlier…
Crocodile’s Pov
"Sir, we found the man you were looking for." Daz said as he walked in with the man we've been looking for.
"Took you long enough to come, your abilities are very important to us." I replied looking at the man we've been seeking for a month now.
"Forgive me, Mr. Crocodile, I was on other business you see." Mr. Ryzaon spoke giving me a half-assed apology.
"Will you be able to do as requested?" I asked glaring at me man in front of me.
"Of course I will, there is no place I cannot break into." He boasted
"Good, we must leave at once then. It'll take a month to get to Dressrosa , maybe slightly longer, and I don't wish to leave my wife there any longer than she needs to be." I spoke urgently
"Of course Sir, I'll pick her up and bring her safely back to you!" Mr. Ryzaon assured." Although, there is still an issue of my payment," He whispered leaning far too close making me scowl at the foolish man.
"You'll get paid as soon my wife is safely back in my arms!" I snapped slamming my fist down on my wooden desk.
"O-of course, Mr. Crocodile! Naturally!" He stuttered bowing his head
I scoffed in response and gestures to Daz to prepare the ship to voyage to Dressrosa. Once him and Mr. Ryazon left, I prepared myself for the important voyage ahead. Rescuing her from her criminally insane brother is by far the most important task at hand. No further business mattered until she was safe with me once again.
In all of the years I’ve known Doflamingo, I’ve never once wanted to do business with him. He’s far too cunning and unpredictable. I, of course, got swept up in his “family business” because I married his sister. She was too irresistible not to have, no wonder Doflamingo wanted her back. Only now I fear what he’s done to my sweet wife and what horrors she must have seen or endured.
I pinched in between my brows out of frustration due to the uncertainty of the situation at hand. This plan I’ve come up with has a chance of success, though it’s very slim. But no matter what happens, she I’ll come back with me and will never see that shitty bird man again. I don’t care if she hates me for it, I will get her back.
One Month Later…
“Sir, due to bad weather, we are going to be delayed for two days.” Daz informed me staring at the sea in front of him.
“We should’ve picked a better man to steer this dammed ship!” I spat clenching my fist.
“I agree Sir, but this was the best captain we could find on such short notice.” Daz replied
“Even if we have to go to war, I will get my wife back!” I proclaimed
I hummed in response as I proceeded back to my quarters deciding to go over my plan for the hundredth time that day. Once, I was done I sat back in my chair staring up at the ceiling. My urge to just fly over to Dressrosa right now was high, but I couldn't be so rash. Especially since my wife's life was on the line.
———
Two Days Later...
The operation to rescue Y/n was finally at hand. It was dark out , nearly midnight, and the ship was eerily quiet as everyone Crocodile employed for this were awaiting their silent orders.Crocodile himself started to feel an uncomfortable anxiety wash over him at the thought of this mission failing. Although, he had some faith in the man he hired to rescue you. Mr. Ryazon was a man with spotless track record and his devil fruit abilities were perfect for the important job at hand.
"Sir, it's nearly time." Daz Bones whispered to Crocodile.
"Good, now make sure he knows that if he harms a her in any way that Doflamingo will be the last of his worries." Crocodile threatened looking ahead at Dressrosa that stood in the distance.
"Yes sir." Daz replied following orders.
Once at Mr. Ryazon's quarters Daz replayed the information his boss gave him making Mr. Rayazon turn slightly pale.
"Of course I will not harm her. I'm not a fan of violence, especially that against women. My skills are only for retreaving, I can assure you." He replied with a scowl.
"Get ready, you are to leave for Dressrosa in a few minutes." Daz spoke ignoring Mr. Ryazon's anger.
"I don't see why we need to be so damn far away. I'm very stealthy you see." Mr. Ryazon argued as he stood next to Daz.
"They have a devil fruit user that has a long range clairvoyance. It's risky just having you go there let alone an entire ship." Daz spoke staring at the shorter male.
"This girl better be worth a hell of a lot for me to be risking my life like this!" Mr. Ryazon complained pushing past Daz in a pout. He hen made his way to the front of the ship where Crocodile stood. "Alright Crocodile, lets gets this done, I don't want to be stuck here longer than I need to be." He whined
"Neither do we." Crocodile mumbled "Your boat is ready, including all of the supplies you might need." He added
"I don't need much Sir, my devil fruit powers should prove that." Mr. Ryazon boasted making his way to the boat.
"Make sure that you are back here by dawn or else." Crocodile warned
"I'll get it done before that, I can assure!" He yelled as he began rowing away from the ship.
"If he isn't back by dawn I'll rescue her myself and kill him." Crocodile thought to himself as he watched smaller boat disappear into the fog.
———
You stood at the only window in your room, looking out at the sleeping city. It was nearly two in the morning now as had only just left Doflamingo side after being practically glued to it all day; not by choice. He was reasonable today and didn't lay a single hand on you that caused you any pain. Even though you had a break from his constant torment, you couldn't feel at ease knowing that it could change in a split second. Your body trembled at the thought of him coming into your room or any of the "family" for that matter. You were transfixed on the soft light illuminating from the city as well as the faint sound of the waves, that you failed to sense the man who stood only three feet from you.
"Hello miss-" The man spoke
"What the hell!" You yelled pressing yourself against the window. "Who the hell are you?" You questioned feeling terribly scared
"Shhhhh, I'm here to rescue you! Crocodile sent me! My name is Mr.Ryazon!" He whisper yelled
"What?" You spoke just barely a whisper.
"Are you deaf or something? They didn't mention that." Mr. Ryazon deadpanned
"N-no, I'm in disbelief!" You shot back. "He came for me." You spoke softly feeling ounce hope for the first time in months. Then without warning a loud knock was heard on your door.
"Dammit, the plan's gonna go south." Mr. Ryazon complained looking for a place to hide.
"Ms. Donquixote! Is everything alright?" Of of the guards stationed outside of your room questioned.
"Y-yes, I just bumped into the side of the bed!" You called back hoping to God that they bought your lie.
"Are you injured? I'm going to call the Young Master just in case!" They replied making your heart stop.
"T-that won't be necessary!" You stammered
"It'll only be a moment Ms." The guard assured
"Shit!" You whispered to yourself when suddenly you felt a hand grabbed onto your arm.
"I can't fight for shit so we need to run! This operation was suppose to run smoothly but if Doflamingo is coming, we are both dead." Mr. Ryazon spoke seemingly scared.
"Who's voice was that?" The guard once again asked
"We gotta go now!" Mr. Ryazon spoke urgently tugging you along.
"How are we going to get out of here?' You questioned realizing how high your room stood in the castle.
"Don't worry about that now, just hold onto me!" He spoke holding my body by my waist. "And do not let go or you will die!" He added staring directly into your soul.
"N-no problem!" You chirped wrapping your arms around him. `
Then, without warning, you both were suddenly engulfed into the floor. To you, it felt like falling and you couldn't help but let out a quick scream as you held onto this man for dear life. The sensation only lasted fro a moment before the two of you were safely on the ground. Your eyes widened with shock as you stared at the man that was still holding your now shaking body.
"Impressed are we?" Mr. Ryazon smirked
"How the hell did you do that?" You asked ignoring his question
"I'll tell you once we are on the boat. For now, we need to hurry or we are both going to end up dead, me more so." He said letting you go by the waist and grabbing your hand instead.
"Fine by me!" You smiled letting him guide you out of the city. Although, still fearing may Doflamingo catch up to you both.
———
"Oh Fuck!" he guard standing outside of y/n's room yelled looking at the now empty room. He rushed throughout the castle to where his Young Master was."Sir, Sir!' The guard yelled urgently
"What is it?" Doflamingo asked sitting at his desk doing some paperwork.
"Sir, its your sister." The guard reluctantly spoke
"What about her?" Doflamningo questioned feeling his anger spike
"S-shes not in her room Sir!" he trembled
"What do you mean she's not in her room?" Doflamningo inquired standing up slowly from his desk.
"Well sir-" the guard started only to have his conversation cut short by Doflamingo grabbing him by his neck and lifting him up in the air.
"You let her escape!" Doflamingo roared squeezing the guard's neck harder making his face turn a deep shade of purple.
The guard struggled against the mighty strength of his Young Master. However, all of his struggles were useless as Doflamingo broke his neck just as easily as breaking a toothpick. He then tossed the now dead guard aside as he quickly left his office but not before grabbing his Den Den Mushi.
"All guards on the island must bring back my sister. She is not in her room!" Doflamingo yelled into his Den Den Mushi that was connected to the guards main quarters. "Whoever can bring her here unharmed, will receive a bountiful reward!" He added hoping this would speed their search.
Doflamingo then began his search for his sister on his own as he attached his strings to the few clouds above hoping to catch a glimpse of you. Although, what he didn't know was that she was already at the secret location that Mr. Ryazon had hidden his boat.
"I'll find you Y/n and when I do you'll receive more than a beating." Doflamingo thought to himself as he continued his search all over "his" kingdom.
———
"Get in the boat girl!" Mr. Ryazon whisper yelled tugging at your hand
"I'm going!" You snapped back quickly getting into the small boat nestled between two big rocks.
"Hold on miss! The sea is a bit rocky this at this time of night!" He spoke as he began pushing the boat against the strength of the waves.
As he pushed the boat with you in it, you noticed a group of people in the distance holding guns in their arms. Their uniforms were so familiar to you know that you knew exactly who they were and who they worked for.
"Hurry! My broth-, Doflamingo's soldiers are coming!" You warned him.
"Shit! Grab some oars and start rowing!" Mr. Ryazon commanded as he swiftly got into the boat.
You nodded at him grabbing a set of oars and quickly putting them into place. You then started rowing as hard as you could. These past months being confined had made you weaker than you usually were, but you carried on hoping that whatever strength you did have, would be enough. Soon, both you and your rescuer fought through the rough waves together, with Mr. Ryazon leading the way. The soldiers of your retched brother now fading from sight, just like the country you were trapped in. Your anguish was now fading away, but not your new found anger. You and Mr. Ryazon rowed together for sometime before you began to wonder when you'd be at the ship.
"How much longer till we are at the ship?" You questioned realizing you were about to see your husband after a long time.
"Nervous are we?" Mr. Ryazon inquired teasing you a bit.
"Didn't realize you were paid for idle chit chat." You teased back
"I'm not, but there is nothing wrong with a simple conversation." He replied shrugging his shoulders.
"Fair, I guess I am." You spoke softly taking notice at the slight change of color in the sky.
"I've only known the man for a month but from what I do know is that he's obsessed with you." Mr. Ryazon said now noticing the slight change in color too. "Seems like that man would go to hell just to get you back." He added speaking softly
"I guess he and I have a lot to talk about." You replied feeling your nervousness go down a little.
"Well, well be there in a few moments so start preparing." he chuckled as the sky got even brighter than before.
"Will do." You smiled "Now since we have some time, how the hell did we fall through the floor." You questioned making the man in front of you sigh slightly.
"Guess I'll tell you since you asked me so nicely. I ate the phase-phase fruit and so now my body and whatever my body comes in contact with. He explained
"Ahh, that's so fun. Bet it makes you a hell of a thief." You complimented.
"Why thank you miss." He replied
"Is that it? You asked hopefully looking at the ship off in the distance.
"Yep! Thank god we made it in time!" He cheered turning his head to look at the ship now illuminated in the distance.
You stared at your new found vessel of freedom and new beginnings. A hopeful feeling bubbled up inside you at the reunion of you and your husband. Though dread also followed as you and your rescuer slowly made your way to the vessel. You rowed closer and closer until a tall figure loomed over head. You squinted trying to see if you recognize the the figure. As the sun shone more brightly and as your boat drew closer you saw it, you saw him. Your boat now at the side of the ship ready for you and Mr. Ryazon to ascend into the ship.
Your breath hitched as you saw him while climbing the ladder of the ship, still looking as handsome as the last time you laid eyes on him. His steel eyes never left yours either as they had a familiar softness to them. The same ones you had seen for years. The same ones he had on the day of your wedding. You felt so lost in them even as he came closer to your smaller self, your own eyes never left his.
The crowd surrounding you both seemed to fade away as he stood before you. The sun had risen giving you an ethereal glow that made Crocodile's heart beat faster. His hand then reached out for your face making you flinch away from his touch. He took notice of your reaction to such a simple gesture and his anger for your brother grew stronger.
