Hello everyone!

I know, I know, I haven’t been active for a while, but I’ve been sick and then I’ve also been hanging out with my family! But here is a life update!

I’ve been doing pretty good actually. I’ve been working out and losing weight, slowly, but progress is progress! I’m still about 20 pounds away from my goal, but that’s okay. I really want to be more in shape before I go back to college so I can feel more confident and pretty. I’ve also been keeping up with my skincare! My acne has been clearing up, and even when I do break out, it’s not nearly as bad as before. I feel like I’m slowly getting to a place where I feel genuinely happy with how I look.

Besides that, I’ve been going swimming with my family. I don’t even really like the water, but for some reason this summer I’ve been at the pool a lot! I love it lol. But oh my gosh, I have mixed feelings about my tan. I’m not as dark as I used to get because I’m putting on sunscreen all the time now, but I still have a slight tan. I usually feel like I look better when I’m paler, but sometimes when I see the tan, I kinda dig it? I don't know, it's giving mixed signals, but I'm definitely sticking to the sunscreen.

On a creative note, I’ve been writing a “book”! I already dropped three chapters on Wattpad (you should totally read it or even follow me, my user is fluffyycloudsss). I have 21 chapter drafts ready, and I am slowly editing and releasing them!

On the down side... I still have not found a job!? Like, why is it so hard to find work right now? No one is hiring me or even giving me a call or email back. I swear I’ve applied to so many places and haven't gotten a single response. I HATE IT HERE!! Ugh, it is so freaking saddddddddd!

Because of that, I also started posting on Depop! I’m really hoping I can get some sales so I can have a little bit of money coming in. I only have two items up at the moment, which are K-pop related, but I will definitely be listing clothes I don’t wear anymore soon! You should definitely follow that too, my user is luv_venuss ✨

But yeah, that is everything going on in my life right now. No job yet (manifesting that changes soon), a new book in progress, and my new Depop page! Hopefully, a few more things can start going my way!!! 💖

Hello guys! It’s me, LovelyVenus! 💜 I haven’t been very active on here lately, and it makes me sooooo sad! So, here is a BIG update on what has been going on in my life (even though you guys didn't ask for it, lol)!

My first year of college just ended, so I’m currently on summer break. All summer, I’ve been working on losing weight, and I’ve lost 10 pounds so far! I am so happy about that. I’d love to lose 40 more pounds so I can get back to my freshman year of high school weight. Besides that, I have just been genuinely happy! No stress (well, besides the stress of looking for a job), and absolutely no drama. I don’t even know how to explain it, but I just feel so much lighter lately. I think a lot of it has to do with dropping all the toxic friends from my life. It was incredibly hard since one of them was my childhood best friend, but it had to be done!

On a much happier note, I went to my very first K-pop concert, and it happened to be my favorite group of all time... BTS!! 😭 I’ve been a fan for ten years, and I finally got to see them with my own eyes!! Like AHHHHHHHHHHH! (My bias is Jimin, if anyone was wondering.)

I went to Las Vegas on Day 2, and our soundcheck/surprise songs were Black Swan and Spine Breaker. I’m not the biggest fan of Black Swan, so I was a little sad because I really wanted to hear Tomorrow live, but I was still so hyped for Spine Breaker! I was also handing out freebies and got so many back in return. Thank you to all the sweet, lovely ARMYs who gave me some!

I went with my sister and a friend, but I was the only one handing stuff out. In order for them to get anything, they basically had to hover around me, which was a little sad. I was just passing them out to whoever was nearby or looked nice. I was honestly so scared no one would like my very first freebies, but it turned out completely fine. I gave them all away, and people seemed to love them!

I miss them so much already, like what the heck, LOL! Now, my sister and I are trying to get tickets for SoFi Day 3 and Day 4 since it's their last US stop. I need to see them again (and hopefully hear Young Forever and Tomorrow live)! Plus, I want to see the fireworks since Vegas was a closed stadium.

Other than BTS, I’ve just been home, relaxing, reading, catching up on shows, and scrolling on TikTok, LOL. That’s pretty much everything happening in my life right now, nothing too crazy!

Life Update: Finals, Future Goals, and Manifesting

Hello again! Venus here. I am literally so sorry I haven’t been active on here in a while! I have been so busy lately, which feels so strange for me, especially in April. Like, what the flip?

Here is a little update on my life right now: Finals are coming up, and, honestly, I’m only on track to pass one of my classes. Since I’m in college, I’m trying to keep the "it is what it is" mindset because I know I can always retake a course, but ugh, I hate it so much that I don’t even want to talk about it right now!

On a deeper note, I’ve been thinking a lot about my life and my future. I really want to be the "cool cousin" or the "cool auntie," the one the kids can text for anything and know I’ll be there to help. That vision is honestly what is pushing me to work hard and reach a point where I’m financially successful.

I’ve also been picturing my life with my future husband. Is it weird that I miss him already? LOL! I hope he thinks of me as much as I think of him, and I hope we find each other soon. If I'm being specific: I hope he’s taller than me and has long hair (I love long hair on men!). Most importantly, I hope he’s kind, funny, and works just as hard as I do.

I want my future kids to have a beautiful life and be truly happy. I want the cycle of trauma to end with me; I don't want them to go through the things my siblings and I experienced growing up.
