A Disney Legend; Floyd Norman

I just watched an amazing documentary about the first Black Disney animator; Floyd Norman!

He worked on so many great Disney and Pixar movies...including some of my favs; The Sword and the Stone, Sleeping Beauty, and The Jungle Book.

I learned a lot about the animation process and how tedious it is and the obstacles he overcame while bringing light to ageism in the workplace.

It was also cool to learn about the other things he animated that I had no clue about...like the Soul Train logo animation!!! 

You should totally check it out when you get a chance, the next time you and your Disney Bae have a Netflix and chill night...it’s called Floyd Norman: An Animated Life.
