Blessed Memorial Day 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Blessed Happy Thanksgiving wishes to my Charleston family, all my USA family and friends.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful day to meditate on all of God’s abundant blessings in our lives and spend time expressing gratitude to Him. Today's the perfect day to lift up our thanks to the Lord all day long! Praise Him in song! Praise Him in poetry! Praise Him to our family & friends! Praise Him for the small miracles of each day and for the grand gestures of His lavish love!
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” Psalm 100:4-5 NLT
God bless y’all. <><

Heavenly Father,
On this Election Day 2020, please be with the United States of America, during this time of decision. Bless it and keep it strong. Help it’s citizens to remember the things they have in common, and not just their differences. Let there be revival in their country, bringing them closer to You and to each other. As King David wrote, “the nation whose God is the Lord is blessed.” Please be the Lord over this nation above all else. Protect it’s people, guide their steps, and strengthen them through this season. Father, may Your will be done.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

My prayer for Canadian Thanksgiving Oct. 12, 2020 🇨🇦🦃🙏🏻
Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day I bow my heart to You and pray. I give You thanks for all You've done especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son. For beauty in nature, Your glory I see. For joy, health, friends, for daily provision, Your mercy and care. These are the blessings You graciously share. So today I offer this response of praise with a promise to follow You all of my days.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 "...in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
"Your Word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens." Psalm 119:89
"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but My Words shall not pass away." Mark 13:31
Blessings be upon you this NEW day with Jesus. <><
Wishing all my Charleston, SC family, USA family and friends, a very Blessed and Happy 4th of July.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." (Psalms 33:12 ESV)
My prayer is, eternal God, stir minds and stimulate hearts with a high sense of patriotism as we approach the Fourth of July. May all that this day symbolizes renew faith in freedom, devotion to democracy, and redouble efforts to keep a government of the people, by the people, and for the people truly alive in our world. Amen.
May God's blessings be upon you this 4th of July.

Blessed and Happy 153rd Canada Day
“He shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.” ( Psalms 72:8). My prayer is that all of Canada would fear the Lord and all the inhabitants of this great Dominion would stand in awe of Him. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:8, 12)
Have a Blessed Canada Day with Jesus. <><

A father loves with his heart, provides with his hands and leaves a legacy with his life. Growing up under the eyes of a caring dad can be the greatest gift anyone can have, I did. Your dad is someone who can stand as a symbol of inspiration for your entire life, he is. It is your father from whom you are most likely to draw your strength from, I do. He can be the strongest pillar in your life, he is. This Father’s Day is dedicated to the love, care and sacrifices my dad made to raise me. This is my 4th Father's Day without my dad, his fourth in Heaven. Dad, I want you to know how thankful I am to have a dad like you; your guidance, encouragement and love have made such a difference in my life. I am truly blessed beyond measure that the Lord chose you to be my dad. While I miss you every moment, your guiding hand still leads me in the right direction. By example, you taught. With patience, you guided. With gratitude, I thank you. Dad my first love and forever my hero. I love you Dad with all of my heart.
Have a Blessed Heavenly Happy Father's Day. "Lá na nAithreacha sona daoibh."
Your loving daughter, Kathy
XOXOXOXOXOXO
In Summer, the song sings itself. ☀️🌻🌼🌸🌺
Dear Dad,
It’s been three years since you are gone. According to Google that’s 26,304 hours but to me it feels like an eternity. I still wake up in the morning thinking this is a nightmare and you’re not really gone. At night I look at the sky and make a wish on the brightest star I see and I believe it is you.
When I was young you told me we grieve for ourselves because the deceased are in a better place. As a woman, I know that is true, but I still miss you terribly. I watched you endure pain. I prayed and pleaded with God to heal you.
When you died my grief became so overwhelming and suffocating. My heart was so heavy and the pain was unbearable. You played a major role in my life and now you are gone. For my entire existence we spoke every single day, even when I was away in the USA. That’s 56 years of saying “I love you”, 56 years of being a Daddy’s girl, 56 years of feeling safe, 56 years of pure, unconditional love. And now just like that you were gone.
From teaching me how to walk, to throw a ball, even to dance while standing on top of your feet, you showed me ways to stand on my own two feet. A dad’s job is not only to protect his little girl, but also to show her how to defend herself when, one day, he is not around.
You were the biggest influence in my life.
A father is the one who guides his daughter through life, and now even in death you are guiding me. You are constantly showing me that love never dies. You speak to me through letters, music and if I listen closely it’s as though I can still hear your strong voice. Every time someone passes me and I smell Old Spice, Black Suede or Brut aftershave on them, I feel a gentle kiss from Heaven on my cheek from you.
I miss you.
I miss you even more today than 1,096 days ago because it’s been 36 months since I heard your voice, heard your laugh, told you I love you and held your hand. There is so much of you in me and your legacy lives on as I have your sense of humor and share your love for life and all that is good!
Dad, you taught me what heroes are made of.
You taught me how to love life even when it’s terrifying and difficult and you know it’s going to be painful. As I sat and held your hand throughout my life and the months of your pain and suffering, I saw an incredible person, my hero.
I learned how precious life is.
As I remember you three years after your passing, the painful image of my very sick declining father is fading. I will always carry your pain and suffering in my heart, but I can also see my father, my superhero, the strongest man in the world. The man who raised me, the man who was my first love and my best friend. The man who gave me butterfly kisses, how to dance while standing on top of his feet and how to appreciate all genres of sports and music. Oh, how you LOVED introducing me to sports and music and watch with eyes wide open as I grew to love them as much as you did, and still do!!
These days I count how long you have been gone in milestones. Even though I can no longer hear your voice, I still see your face and I can feel your love. You’re still with me, in my laughter, my smile, my tears, in my writing and in my loving.
Love never dies.
Love Always and Forever,
your daughter, Kathy

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will
What makes Banksy a great artist in my opinion, is his ability to take a huge story full of complexity and to reduce it to an image that says it all and more. Every inch of it has a visual purpose. It's full of appreciation and heart and it's absolutely wonderful.
Ravi Zacharias now with Jesus.
On January 4, Ravi recited a stanza from this hymn from the late Richard Baxter (1615-1691):
“Lord, it belongs not to my care
Whether I die or live;
To love and serve Thee is my share,
And this Thy grace must give.
If life be long, I will be glad,
That I may long obey;
If short, yet why should I be sad
To welcome endless day?
Christ leads me through no darker rooms
Than He went through before;
He that unto God’s kingdom comes
Must enter by this door.
Come Lord, when grace hath made me meet
Thy blessed face to see;
For if Thy work on earth be sweet
What will thy glory be!
Then I shall end my sad complaints
And weary sinful days,
And join with the triumphant saints
That sing my Savior’s praise.
My knowledge of that life is small,
The eye of faith is dim;
But ‘tis enough that Christ knows all,
And I shall be with Him.”
Ravi is now experiencing the realization of this more than 300 year old hymn. “But ‘tis enough that Christ knows all, and I shall be with Him.” Ravi at 74, has “joined with the triumphant saints that sing [his] Savior’s praise.”
Well done, Good and Faithful Servant.
