27.01.2018; i’m a bit stressed because i forgot to write a teacher to ask him to sign me up for handing my thesis next month and i hope it’s not too late!
also, i’ve spend +25 euros printing and my green soul within me is dying a bit, but i needed it. i’m trying not to procastinate during my last hard-work weeks, but it’s getting harder and harder…
(i started a new reading too, has anyone read ‘commonwealth’?)

back on the korean grind. now that my study abroad is officially happening, i’ve gotta stay on top of scholarship apps and language studies. i’ve got a few months, so i’m starting at the beginning to do a much needed review before i try any new material.
Goals for 2020: more sunsets like these in my life
i can’t even call this a ‘’romantic morning’’ after reading this article by A. O. Lovejoy
12th March 2020: I’m on a quote finding mission today since some sections of this chapter don’t feature any quotes from primary or secondary material. I’m an awful literature student.

God why is reading outside such an ethereal experience. Like there is just something about feeling the suns warmth enveloping you and having the pages falling between your fingers and just looking up every often to see a bird filling your ears with its song that makes me feel like this is what i’m meant to do with my life.

Enjoying the beginning of summer holidays by sitting in cafes and reading the beast that is A Little Life.

I’ve been getting a lot of studying done lately and it feels so nice! 😌
11.11.2019. trying to be productive again! managed to watch some documentaries this week. news from home by chantal akerman was the most recent one I saw. it was so simple and yet so beautiful. chantal’s voice is so sad. even tho news from home is not my study subject I always consider watching any kind of movie some sort of studying (hence my username I guess 😅).
I also watched again two other documentaries I need to write about, retratos de hideko (something like hideko’s portrait) and hia sá sá - hai yah (pictured on my tablet). they are both directed by a brazilian director I like very much, her name is olga futemma. anyway, I’ve said this somewhere here, but I absolutely love subjective documentaries. happy I’m able to study and write about something I’m so passionate!
apart from watching movies, I also read a lot these past days (mostly about documentaries too) and today I finally started writing a new chapter of my thesis. it was like… one page? but oh my god, I’m happy I gave the first step.
[if you read my long posts, I love you. if you don’t, I totally understand and I love you too 🧡]
