just remembered “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls!” and how will remembered those words and probably replayed them in his head over and over because he used them in his own coming out and how mike made his ‘apology’ to will on the radio tower all about himself and how the radio tower scene wasn’t even in the script so mike and Will weren’t going to have a 1:1 scene ever again and how mike never knew that the painting was from will and if will ever visited him at college he would have seen it hanging up and would still have the knowledge that mike put it up to remember el even though she had nothing to do with it and yeeeouch!

final season so bad I blocked it out and forgot that my favorite character got powers and saved the boy he loves and his friends without any training

saw an edit of the end of ep4 earlier and said, “oh my god, that’s right. will got powers. huh.”

That's because they ended up doing next to nothing with it after the failed attempt to hack into the hive mind in Shock Jock. Will getting powers ended up being nearly pointless despite being made up to be him drawing power from the love he feels for others (*coughMikecough*). It ended up just being a half-baked attempt to draw parallels between Will and Henry, but even that was quickly scrubbed by Henry himself slamming the door on it.

Will doesn't even really participate much in the final battle. A planned confrontation between him and the Mindflayer was apparently scrapped. And don't even get me started on his connection to the hive mind suddenly not being a thing when the ridiculous spider creature got steamrolled.

Every other member of the party played a bigger role in the finale than Will did. Steve and Jonathan's conversation may well have gotten more Abyss screen time than Will did. El contributed more to the final battle than Will did despite arriving at the last minute.

Honestly, Noah Schnapp's professionalism should be praised because, if I were him, I'd be trashing this final season much more explicitly than he has been.

Like I’ve been shipping these lil homos since s1 aired but was like….. 1) married and closeted and couldn’t be openly excited about it without setting my ex off w gay feelings and. 2) not involved in fandom spaces since like my 2002 deviantart kingdom hearts/tatu AMV era ya know LMAO so I just fangirlled by myself for like a decade until I decided idc if I’m old, fandoms are fun and it’s fine to participate in this
