Lucas Sinclair and Dustin Henderson Chapter Two: The Weirdo on Maple Street | 1.02
every day i wake up and just miss byler
Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair Stranger Things, S05
mom i got possessed by an interdimensional being ☹️
Sorry but I don't get past the "superman landed on his door" instead of superwoman.
Mike calling El superMAN in S4 then Will got powers in S5.
Mike saying he's afraid that El will realise she doesn't need him anymore in S4 then in S5 Will says he is over Mike and that it was never about him
It's almost like... Mike is living his worst nightmare becoming true
will byers as a baby duck, and mike wheeler as a baby swan
The lack of mystery and fear shown through characters is one of the biggest reasons that season 5 failed. It was too rushed and didnt focus enough on the characters we’d been following for multiple seasons, so without seeing the fear theyre feeling, it feels stale. Especially through the wheeler family, buidling hollys characterization through scene after scene of her didnt work for the nostalgia bait because its the opposite of what they did with will; where his characterization is based off his short scenes and other’s love for him. Instead we only see sadness through mike and karen, and anger through nancy. Joyces and Jonathans reactions worked because they had a mix of emotions that bled through every scene they had in s1. Joyce didnt need to face off with a monster to be a fighter. The horror wasnt fighting monsters but also other people’s beliefs about your capabilities.
It’s been a decade…
s3 will byers is sooo... like he is fourteen he is in love with his best friend he doesn't hate el but he wishes he did because maybe that would make it easier. he's "not gonna.... fall in love." he's left behind, he doesn't want to grow up. he doesn't understand why everyone else is in such a hurry to. he just wants to play dnd, he wants his friends to dress up with him. he feels "stupid, so stupid." he thinks its his fault everyone is changing, he doesn't want to blame himself. he hasn't seen his mom in days, and he doesn't know if he likes the space or hates it. his best friend is being mean. everyone is getting a girlfriend and he can't stop thinking about a boy. he is fourteen.
