listening to her he smiled lightly and then nodded lightly. “Then we can either way get to my place or I can find us some motel rooms to sleep at and then tomorrow I could show you a little bit around or bring you wherever you want to go and then when I got you there you can get all ride of me.” he said and smiled lightly and then kept on eating his food while taking a sip from his shake then. “Is there anything you would like to do?”

There was so much she still wanted to do and see. Being secluded in her home was one thing, but seeing how big the world could be enticed her to go outside of her comfort zone. Eating her food, she tried not to think about the sleeping arrangements. Whether or not she wanted to be adventurous, she was not going to sleep in the same bed as a stranger. “A motel works,” she said. “I’ve always wondered what they’re like.” She tried to play it off like just a normal person would. There were plenty of people who hadn’t been to one, right? “With separate beds, of course.” Finishing her milkshake, she pushed it to the side. “You know... I’m not really sure where I want to go. I sort of just came out here to be adventurous and see new places.” She paused, thinking a little. “Anywhere you can think of with an awesome view?” she asked.

“I am glad I told you too, you had a right to know about it.. I missed you, I could have really needed you some of the days but at the same time you also got a girlfriend and you have to make sure to not leave her out.” clarke said and smiled lightly at him. “I am sure we can figure it out and who knows maybe I am one of the girls who does not have a big belly at all because some wemon does not have big bellys what is kinda weird but it’s possible.”

Keeping a level head was important. He had no idea what he was even doing, so he made sure to pay attention more often. Mason wasn’t stupid, but he tended to let things slide and care about it later, but this was something he definitely had to pay attention to. Clarke telling him that she was pregnant was a big wake-up call. He nodded, shrugging a little. “Yeah... but,” he started before stopping. He couldn’t properly think and he didn’t want to say something without thinking. Mason looked at her and nodded. “You could be,” he figured. It was kinda funny imagining such a tiny girl like Clarke having a huge pregnancy belly. He didn’t think she would have one until she was at least in her late twenties or early thirties, but there was no going back. Mason felt his phone buzz. Seeing that it was his girlfriend, he shoved it back in his pocket. She could wait for now.

“I am not embarrassed don’t worry, but my dad it’s always more about that he wants the best for me and all but yeah no more about that he is not here anyways.” he said and smiled lightly at her as he then listened to her again and smiled. “See, I told you it was not that bad here, i’m happy I could win another costumer to this place, I hope you will come back again.” he said and laughed lightly as he then ate some of his fries. “So what’s next.? wanna find a place to sleep and get some rest next.?”

She could definitely relate in that way. Her father wanted the best for her and always went out of his way to make sure she had the best life. Granted, that came with him being a little too watchful and overbearing, but it was still something to think about. Especially in the recent years, he had been so strict. Evie nodded, not sure if she would be there again. The whole future itself was unpredictable. For all she knew, she could end up back at her house before the end of the night, or she could wander forever. Evie shrugged a little, sipping on her shake. “Yeah,” she said softly and yawning a little. “I could use some shut-eye before heading out tomorrow.”

“I get it mason, it’s a lot to take in and your mind must be blow up right now, it’s why I tried to keep it from you I don’t wanted you to get stressed and worry to much about it.” she said and sighed lightly before she then listened to him again and nodded lightly. “I will be going to school until the belly is hard to hide and when the belly is to big I take it online but I might just leave and go to my parents or so.” she said and sighed.

“No, I’m glad you told me. I get why you were scared to tell me and stuff but... it felt kind of weird... not talking to you.” He had missed her, and while their relationship was complicated, he needed her in his life. Glad that she wasn’t going to give up on school, he grinned. “Good,” he said, feeling satisfied. “Until then... I guess we’ll just ride out the rest of the year.” For all they knew, the baby could come in the summer when classes are out of session.

“Whatever.” he mumbled and looked over to her for a moment. “Yeah that’s what you think, but you never gave me a chance to explain that night but yeah whatever believe what you saw and not what actually happened.” he said and rolled his eyes before he then went upstairs to go and get a shower. when he finished his shower he then got fresh cloth on and then went back downstairs, watching some TV.

“You cheated on me. What is there to explain? Do you have some evil twin brother that I don’t know about?” she said, a little frustrated but not wanting to lose her temper. After all, she had said that she wanted to keep it professional. Still, a girl can’t help but feel hurt. Hearing him get into the shower, she let out a breath of relief. Putting on comfortable clothes, she rested in the bedroom, her thoughts coiling through her mind. It wasn’t until then that she realized that there was only one bed in the house. I am not sharing a bed with him, she thought to herself.

“Let’s be honest here, as long as I got you I think I just got it all. You and a baby that would make it great, that way I would have a family again. And you know how long I have been wanting to have a baby.” She said and smiled, biting down on her lower lip as she then listened to him again and nodded. “Right, that is a good point, then we will take your apartment, I don’t want you to feel lonely. and who knows maybe we could also get a puppy or so.?”

Eli rolled his jokingly and looked at her. He nodded, knowing she had been wanting a baby for the longest time. She was going to be a great mother, and he was happy to give her what she’d always wanted. They just had to get past the awkward part of actually making the baby, but after that, he knew he’d be there for her in any way he could. “You’re gonna be a great mom,” he told her sincerely. Eli laughed a little and shrugged. “I mean, you just convinced me to have a baby, so who’s to say you won’t convince me to get a puppy too?”

Leo listened to her ad then nodded lightly. “It is pretty great yeah but just not when I am taking other people with me to the restaurant.” he said and smiled lightly at her when they then got their milkshakes he took a sip from it and then laughed lightly over her reaction, but he was not expecting anything else because does here where really the best milkshakes on this planet. “I told you they are the best milkshakes ever, I mostly like to come here and drink them here.” he said and smiled at her before then saw that also their food came and he then took a bite from the burger. “Hmm perfect.”

Evie shrugged a little. “Why? You aren’t embarrassed are you? Is he overbearing?” Nothing could compare to her father in her opinion, but she found that there was still a lot to learn about the world she had been sheltered from. Taking a bite of the burger, she swallowed and paused to give her opinion. “Not too shabby,” she said with a small grin. Eating more and drinking her milkshake, she felt pretty satisfied. She had no idea where she would go next and that scared her, but it also excited her, going into the unknown.

Clarke holded his hand and smiled as she kept looking on the screen, this was crazy but she knew that she was going to keep this child and give it the best life possible. “This is amazing.” she said and then looked up to him again. first now reality hit her again and a little sigh came from her. She wished that he would be her boyfriend and that he could always be there with her, listening to her belly and talking to it when it got bigger, but all this was not possible, he had someone else, and who knew maybe Clarke would make the choice and drop collage to go back to her parents, they would understand. She then looked over to the doctor again and smiled. “Yes I would love a picture.” the girls said and then let lose of his hand so she could get up again and then took the picture. “I four weeks again, got it.” Clarke said smiling and then went out again. “Maybe I should drop collage and find a little place to life, I don’t want to stress to much.” clarke mumbled and then looked up to him.

“Amazing’s a way to put it,” he said, licking his lips a little and looking away from the screen. Realizing how that might have sounded, he looked to the ground. “Sorry.. it’s just.. a lot. I’m still processing that I’m gonna be a fuc..” Remembering where he was, he stopped. “You know.” Hearing what she said, he shook his head. “Don’t drop out yet.. aren’t there classes you could take online instead?” He hated that she would have to leave school. It was partially his fault that they were in this situation. “I mean, yeah, you shouldn’t stress too much but... I just hope that you don’t give up on everything else.”

Barry waited for her to talk again and as soon as she did he smiled lightly and nodded. “I get that, I know what I did was the worst, and honestly maybe if I was you I would not like me too but we are working right now so we got to focus on that, we should just try and do our best to make it work.” he said and smiled lightly. “I will try and get your trust back, but honestly River I am not as bad as you might I am right now.”

The mood was tamer than before but her feelings were still hurt. She tried her best not to look at him too much, eating her yogurt. The main focus was their job and she wouldn’t let her feelings get in the way. She worked too hard to let that happen. She laughed a little quickly. “Don’t push your luck, Barry.” River looked up at him finally. “I’ve already seen your true colors.” Finishing her yogurt, she threw out the cup before heading upstairs to the bedroom to put her things away.

As Barry was eating his food he looked at her and rolled his eyes again when she spoke, he really did understand that she was mad at him still but how could she possibly not want to at least try and give him a chance. “We will be doing it the right way River because we are the best they have but still if the guy takes a break on killing then we just have to wait and see we can’t really say let’s get this done quick.” Barry said and sighed. “You really are gonna hate me for the rest of your life aren’t you.?”

She scoffed a little when he said ‘takes a break on killing’. She was about to speak up before he continued. Pausing, she didn’t know what to say. River didn’t hate him. Maybe she hated what he did, but she didn’t hate him. Silence filled the room and she couldn’t look at him directly. “No,” she told him, “but I guess I’ll have to put my feelings aside to be able to keep this professional.” They were on a job, after all. “You’ll just have to regain my trust first.”

“Many guys had fallen for me but you know they always break up after not so long time because they see that you mean more to me, that you always go first because you are everything I got since my parents are not with me anymore. You are kind of the closest to family I got.” Ivy said and sighed lightly but then smiled again when she listened to him. “That is pretty true to be honest, but we should just figure out what place is better.”

Eli’s face fell a little as he listened to her. He knew it had been especially hard ever since her parents were out of the picture. Ivy really was family, and while they hadn’t known each other since they were young, it definitely felt like it. “There’ll come a day when you’ll meet someone who won’t care about all of that. Besides... they’ll know that I’m just a friend and don’t pose a threat.” Eli shrugged a little. “Well... you know I’ve got two bedrooms at my place. It can get pretty lonely there anyways, so you can move in with me if you want.”

As she was talking again Leo listened to her and smiled lightly, a part of him already felt bad for doing this to her, lying to her and not telling her who he really was but this was his job and he had to stay quite about it or else her father would kill him.·“That sounds like a family dinner I am happy about I was not invited to.” he said and laughed lightly.·“I my dad is actually a pretty good cook, after my mothers death he had to figure it out and since that he loved it and became a good cook, he actually got a restaurant here but I don’t want to go there or else he would ask me who I am having with me, and he tend to get really awkward when i’m bringing pretty girls around.” Leo said and being fully honest with her, why lie about his life when he already had this one big lie.

It felt exhilarating yet comfortable talking with someone who was a stranger. Sure, she knew his name and where he lived, but he was just someone who had picked her up on his bike and carried her away. She wondered if she should have trusted him so easily, but at least he had brought her to public place instead of shoving her in the back of his car. But there she was again, overthinking things. Evie knew she had to be less paranoid. Her father had warned her about awful people, but Leo seemed like a decent guy so far. He wasn’t pushy and was eager to listen. Hearing about her mother’s death, her face fell a little but she still listened.·“Well... I’m sure it’s great,” she said with a smile. It even made her blush when he referred to her as being a pretty girl. The milkshakes came to their table and she drank hers.·“Wow,” she said, drinking more.·“This might be the best one I’ve ever had.”

“You can be part of the baby’s life but not now, while i’m pregnant I can work it out, I will just get my friends to pick up food in the middle of the night, but when the baby is there you might want to be there.” she said and smiled lightly before she then looked outside the window the whole time aw the where driving to the doctor. arriving there she then went inside with him and soon after she already heard her name being said and so she took Mason’s hand and went to the doctors room where she then got to lay down and then pulled her shirt a little up and then got the cream on and soon looked over to the screen. Nervously she bit down on her lower lip and then started to see something. “Is that the baby.? This is so cute, just like a little peanut.” clarke said and then looked over to him. “Look this is our little peanut.” she then said as tears came to her eyes.

He had to remind himself that he wasn’t her boyfriend. It wasn’t his responsibility or place to care to her every need 24/7. But he did feel a little guilty, wishing that he was. Mason watched as the nurse began to prepare her, putting the cream on her stomach. He suddenly felt a rush of reality hit him, and it took a second for it to register with him what was happening. His eyes were wide and he was silent as he stared at the screen, seeing the little blob on the screen that was their baby. He was at a loss for words. "Wow," he said softly, his voice almost cracking. Clearing his throat, he held her hand, feeling what almost felt like an electric shock between them.

Clarke nodded lightly over his words that made her sigh. “Why would she.? It could have just been from some other guy, she would not know Mason.” she said and then listened to him again smiling lightly. “That’s a good idea, I have not even told my parents yet, god they are going to kill me.” she said as she then left with him and got inside the car, taking the GPS and then typing the adress in there. “It’s twenty minutes from here so we will just be there in time.”

Mason shook his head at what she said. “I wanna be a part of this baby’s life. If she sees me with you, she’s only get suspicious. I don’t wanna lie to her,” he told Clarke honestly. “So we won’t tell anyone right now, but... there’s gonna come a time when we’ll have to.” For now, he needed to process for himself. It was a lot to take in. Getting in the car, they drove towards the office. It was quiet and tense. Mason never intended on going to a doctor’s office to see his unborn child today, but there they were. Once they got there, they went inside and waited for Clarke to be called.

Leo sat down with her ad then looked at her when she spoke and smiled. “Yes I am from around here, I know pretty much all of the cool places and nice diners around, plus this one here is almost never full so it’s nice to be around a place where it is not to loud.” Leo answered her and then saw the waiter coming.”We take two burgers with fries and then one strawberry and one chocolate milkshake.” he told the waiter who then nodded and left again. “I hope you will like the food.”

As he lived around the area, she was sure he knew the in’s and out’s of the place. While she wasn’t sure where her final destination was yet, she already liked the town. A part of her wanted to keep moving and seeing new places, so her time there wouldn’t last long, but for some reason, she already felt a homey feeling in this place. No one recognized her and kept to their own business. As he ordered, she grinned over at him nervously. “I’m sure I will. I pretty much like anything you put in front of me. Unless that is some outlandish seafood dish, of course. Once at one of my father’s dinners...” she started, catching herself. Playing it off, she continued. “At one of our family dinners, he served us catfish. Whiskers and all,” she said with a grin. It made her feel guilty, leaving her father and her family behind, but in her heart, she knew this was something she needed to do.

hearing that he missed her too made her smile, if she as being honest with herself a part of her had thought that he had probably just forgotten about her because he was so happy with Raven. when she then heard his words she looked up and shook her head. “No please don’t tell her, she is going to kill the both of us specially me, she was jealous enough to start of with don’t give her more reasons to be, at least not now.” clarke said and sighed lightly. “Now can we please go I don’t want to be to late for this.”

Mason knew telling Raven wasn’t going to be easy. She would probably try to break up with him, but he didn’t want that. He really liked her. But as Clarke begged him not to tell her, he wondered how he could lie. If she saw Clarke pregnant, she could only assume. “She’s gonna ask questions,” he pointed out. “But.. I guess for now.. we can just keep it between us. Until we figure this out.” Mason nodded and took his hands off of her. “Yeah. Yeah, let’s go,” he said. “We can take my car.” Leaving her dorm room, he walked with her down the stairs towards the parking lot where his car was. Getting in, he pulled up his GPS. “Uh.. just.. put the address in,” he told her.
