Morning Sex - Merlin

Me watching Cursed for the 800th time:
“Ah yes. Good to know this ol’ depression still is no match for my raging libido,”
Oh, what I wouldn’t give.
Gods do I want to be her.
Uther: Do I need to repeat myself?
Merlin: No need, I ignored you just fine the first time
The First Time He Says I Love You - Merlin
He looks on while Galahad toddles along at your hand. Despite the boy already being a year old, Merlin remains insecure.
And you remain insecure about him.
Merlin is not quite a constant factor of your life. And though you are quite certain you love him, you are not sure where he stands. He just comes and goes. Maybe he is insecure about himself, still.
Galahad lets go of your hand and waddles over to his father. When he is almost there he wobbles. Merlin swiftly reaches out and catches the boy. Galahad, startled, begins to cry. “Now now, my lad, no need to cry. You are safe.” Merlin lifts him up and gently strokes his dark ringlets. Galahad swiftly stops crying and leans into the Druid’s shoulder.
You come over to them.
“Hello, me handsomes.” You purr. You lean into Merlin, too. He puts his free arm around your waist. “Hello beautiful.” He whispers. He’s wondering if he can finally let himself have this. You smile and nuzzle into him. Merlin presses a kiss to your forehead. “I love you.” He whispers. It is almost involuntary. Maybe he will let himself have this.
“I love you too.” You reply softly, barely believing your ears. Your heart is soaring!
Michael: From early on I’d decided that I think Aziraphale is a bit in love with Crowley even though he’s like the absolute opposite, they’re on opposite teams. There was something about… I sort of tried to think about: How would you play an angel, well, it must be a being full of love,so then if you’ve got someone who’s supposed to be your absolute enemy and the opposite how does that work if you’re full of love for them and I think he just sort of falls in love with Crowley over the hundreds and hundreds… the millenia that they spent together. And, so that helps because David is very easy to fall in love with. So I just spent most of my time just gazing at him lovingly in scenes. (x)
This is a lovely example of how the Ragnarok filmmakers retconned everything about Thor and Loki’s relationship and twisted their characters.
According to Ragnarok, it’s Thor who wants to talk things through. Thor wants to bring up their family issues. And Loki chooses not to talk.
Let’s just have a little stroll down Memory Lane to Reality Check Street, shall we?
Thor 1:
Thor habitually undermines and shuts his brother up, to the extent that Thor’s friends—and even the servants—openly show disrespect for Loki.
In the final moments, when Odin rejects Loki, It becomes brutally clear that this is the dynamic: Loki will never be heard in this family.
The Avengers:
Thor never once asks Loki why he’s come to Earth, or what happened to him in the void. He makes the worst assumptions about his own brother.
Then, he literally puts a gag on Loki and goes out to eat with his new friends.
The Dark World:
Despite everything that has gone before, Loki is still making overtures to Thor—still trying to reach his brother.
Loki: “Did she suffer?”
Thor: “I did not come here to share our grief.”
Then, Thor gives the first of several threats that he’ll kill Loki if he “ betrays” him.
Still, no one has ever asked Loki why he tried to take over Midgard. Odin has passed his harsh judgment, and Thor apparently agrees with it, though Loki never had a chance to defend himself. His life is only spared because Frigga is soft hearted. The entire family apparently believes he deserves to die.
Infinity War:
Loki reveals that he has taken the Tesseract from Asgard’s vault before the planet was destroyed. Thor doesn’t consider why Loki might have taken it. The assumption is that Loki “stole” it for some nefarious purpose. He snaps to his final judgement of Loki; literally the last words he ever says to his brother.
Endgame:
Loki is in this movie for about 2 minutes, and in that time Thor gags him.
Thor did nothing but shut Loki up and shut him down in every movie—but in Ragnarok, Thor’s the one who wants to talk it out?
The truth is that Loki was always desperate to be heard. Desperate.
If one person in Loki’s life had been willing to hear him, rather than treating him like dirt (Odin), ignoring him (Thor), gaslighting him (Frigga), mocking him (the Warriors 3), despising him (Sif), distrusting him (Heimdall), and betraying him (all of the above), things would have turned out very differently for them all.
Just one small example of how Ragnarok disrespects Loki and violates canon.
Not to mention that Loki does try to talk with Thor in Ragnarok (when Thor was captured by the Grandmaster and Loki interrupted him while he was praying) and Thor shuts him down and starts talking about how Loki “fakes his death again” and “stripped Odin of his power and stranded him on Earth to die” instead.
Thor, Frigga and Heimdall were the only people even CLOSE to being kind to him, and even they were kind of awful to him. Heimdall, I think, was the kindest.
And then he met Tony Stark. Despite the fact that they were on opposite sides… he treated Loki as an equal. They had a real conversation. Tony flirted with Loki. He gave him a nickname. He talked to him like he was just another person who happened to also be the villain in that particular situation. It was the first time Loki had actually been able to talk to someone without being told to shut up. Tony just talked right back.
I just wish those two had gotten more scenes together. I wish their dynamic could have been explored more. They could have had an interesting sort-of friendship. Because Tony was the first person who, even if he wasn’t exactly kind to Loki, treated Loki as his equal.
The first three Graphic Novels. In twenty parts. Coming July 15th 2020. Here’s the cast…

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS! I wonder how much of the anthology story structure will be maintained.
Same structure. Each episode is an adaptation of the comic it’s based on.
Crowley’s walk
Bonus: compare with :)
Christine, I love you.
I loved the way they did this, because it shows that Christine did love the Phantom, she just wanted Raoul more.
“Very few days go by without me speaking to him, I have to say…”

Uriel: your boyfriend in the dark glasses-
Aziraphale: oh Crowley and I aren't dating,
Aziraphale: we've just been friends for 6000 years, saved each other multiple times, go to dine at the Ritz, sometimes we cuddle in the sofa, he calls me angel and kisses me in the fore-
Aziraphale: oh my god we're dating
She took up acting because the malnutrition she suffered under the nazis permanently damaged her health and prevented her from pursuing her dream to be a ballerina. During the war, she danced to raise money for the resistance - even though she was literally starving, she used what strength she had to make sure more nazis got shot.
She and her mom also denounced their royal heritage because of the Nazis in their family
Also Audrey was a humanitarian until her death, though ill with cancer, she continued her work for UNICEF, travelling to Somalia, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France and the United States.
These are things I literally never would have known about. I’m tired of women being painted as just being pretty.
I’M SO HAPPY TO SEE HER AT AN OLDER AGE I SWEAR!
Here’s another nice one.
For the longest time I assumed she had died really young because I never saw any pictures of her at an older age. She was an amazing woman.
