Do you have any reblogged icons, edits, userboxes, etc. made by sv3chka? I remember really liking their jaspis content a while back, and you have a lot of jaspis stuff around here, but tumblr's search function is being a pain and not showing me anything when I try and search your blog for them.

I’ve recently been getting back into Steven Universe and I was looking for Jaspis fic recs? Any genre is fine (fluffy/au/darkfic etc) and platonic/not romantically inclined is also fine—just no Lapidot please, I have no interest in that ship.

Whumptober Day 20: Trapped Under Water

Fandom: Steven Universe

Pairing: Jasper x Lapis Lazuli

Malachite was in pain. Just existing was pain. The pressure of the ocean was just extra layers of it. The constant fight within her was pain. Because they were both in pain. Lapis and Jasper. Constantly fighting for dominance, for control.

"Stay still." Lapis growled into the reflection of the water, Jasper staring back at her. Jasper slammed her fists against the watery surface, almost breaking it before Jasper pulled her back, "I said stay still."

"You little bitch! How dare you keep me trapped here?!" Jasper didn't stop trashing, pushing and pulling against the barrier of water and the chains.

"You almost killed the only person I've ever called a friend! Not that a monster like you would understand." Lapis murmured that last sentence to herself, but since the only gems in there were her and Jasper, the solder heard her.

Jasper huffed, "I'm not the who betrayed my home. The one who's keeping us in this cage. You hate me so much you can just leave!" Jasper yelled and Malachite could feel herself being pulled apart, until she was being pulled back together just as painfully. The pressure of the ocean crashing down on her once more.

This time both Jasper and Lapis were face to face, no barrier between them. Both kept the chains pulled tight, trying to get the other to give up. But neither of them budged.

"You would have killed them, all of them. I can't allow that." Lapis tugged, tripping Jasper over, the larger gem falling to her knees but budging no further.

"I'm a soldier Lazuli. I was made to kill. If you don't like it that's to bad, but I'm going to my duty to my Diamond." Now it was Jasper who pulled, Lapis digging her feet into the watery surface, pulling back as hard as she could. They were close, closer than an arms reach, if Jasper decided to throw fists Lapis knew she couldn't match her.

"Why do keep saying that? Are you so fucking desperate for approval? I was trapped in a mirror for thousands of years. No one helped me, no one cared, especially not the Diamonds. They threw me in jail the second time. I'm done Jasper, I'm done listening, its time you listen to me for once." There was a bright spark in Lapis's eyes. Jasper knew that spark well, she'd seen it on the battlefield thousands of time. The blue gem was itching for a fight.

Jasper smirked confidently, clenching her fists, "Make me you little brat." Lapis frowned and lunged forward. But instead of hitting her with her fists she crashed her lips against Jasper's. Jasper gasped in surprise, she certainly wasn't expecting this from Lapis of all gems. Her gasp gave Lapis the opportunity to push her tongue into Jasper's mouth. So she wants that kind of fight.

Jasper responded quickly, her own tongue pushing against Lapis's own. It felt very cold against hers. Were all gems in Blue Diamond's court this cold? But then where was this fire, this feistiness, this passion coming from? Lapis threaded her hands trough Japer's long hair, tugging on it to the point of pain, "Fuck." Jasper groaned against her lips before diving back for another kiss.

She felt Lapis smirk against her lips and before she knew it she was being pulled back to the other side of the water. Jasper was stunned, stunned that Lapis pulled such a gutsy move, stunned that she allowed herself to fall for it.

"That was a sneaky move Lazuli. If I wasn't so pissed I'd actually be impressed." Jasper glared up at the other gem.

Lapis chuckled triumphantly, "Its not my fault you're too horny for your own good."

"You haven't seen me when I'm horny Lazuli. Only when I'm pissed off and frustrated." Jasper couldn't help a smirk that crossed her face, "You'll let your guard down eventually. I'll find your weakness Lazuli, you can mark my words."

"Like I just found yours?" Jasper pulled against the chains, making Lapis stumble, barely catching herself in her elbows. Jasper had a rather smug look on her face, "I meant what I said Jasper. We're stuck here, on this miserable planet forever. I'm not letting you roam free."

"And I meant what I said. I will find your weak spot. I will gain control of this... this fusion, this power. And then I'll destroy Rose Quartz for what she did to my Diamond." Jasper's eyes flashed dangerously red as she bared her fangs.

"So you keep saying." Lapis mumbled and stared back at Jasper. They were locked in a standstill, and endless fight, pushing and pulling for control. This was their fate now, this was Malachite's fate. Forever fighting against the chains and the crushing might of the ocean.
