❄️🎄🤶🏻⛄️♥️⛄️🤶🏻🎄❄️ Went to Kings' Dominion's Winterfest! Eli had a BLAST! It was SO beautiful! I've never seen so many lights!! I mean.... they were EVERYWHERE! & (fake) snow! & so much Christmas music! Such a fun holiday event, I'm totally glad we went, even with all the stress... We didn't get to do most of what we hoped, like get a picture with Santa, (we even stood in line twice - it was a no-go, his stranger danger kicked in hardcore.... ) But it was still a great night!! Actually, it was our first really big outing with E as a toddler. Dad/Husband had a bit of a breakdown; just realizing how big &grown up his little boy is getting, even cried a bit. E had only one BIG freak out/tantrum, but it was as we were about to leave, so it was quite late, WAY past his bedtime & he had a shit-nap, so it was totally justified (almost expected - he was moving beyond tired & into walking zombie). But other than that, he was a dream! He even walked (while holding the side of his stroller & would NOT let us help, he wanted to do it himself) practically the whole time! I was beyond impressed! My favorite moment of the night was when Eli got to ride his first ride!!! Eeek! I was so stoked for him to try a real ride... HE LOVED IT!! Yay!! It was a little plane that went up & down on a circle (like a Ferris wheel 🎡), fast enough to cause a "tickle" or lump in the pit of your stomach that would climb up into your throat! He laughed every time it went down, & squee-d every time we went up! I was afraid he wouldn't like roller coasters, or rides in general, especially cause his dad & I are fanatics, but so far, so good!! ♥️
