What did living or dying honestly matter? Hell, he said it himself. Adachi did not want to die, but he wasn't frankly fond of living, nor was he fond of humans for that matter. In fact, here he could be free. He had no idea where here actually was, but it was away from his prison cell. For a moment, he stopped and wondered if this was hell. He knew he had done some wrong... Maybe. So that outcome would not surprise him too much.

Did he have regrets? Perhaaaaaaps. In this world, he was free. He had no need to regret the past, as the past was now irrelevant. Sure, the fact that he had died and ended up in some other fuckin' world was questionable, but this is the man who had the power to push people into televisions and summon a creature known as a persona. Not to mention the TV world was filled with monsters called shadows and this weird ass fog that could turn people into shadows. Adachi was adapted to strange. Strange was his normal, thankfully. The man had no tolerance for anything he deemed boring or uninteresting.

Adachi lacked any real concern for the place he had ended up. He shared a bond with a total of three people and at this point, it meant nothing. He only saw one of them when he took the time out to come visit Adachi as he rotted in a damn prison.

He took his revolver and stroked it. He had missed his gun, the sole reason for him joining the police force in the first place. It wasn't loaded, and he decided he should fix that. He put the bullets in the weapon, loving the way the metal felt between his fingers. It wasn't like he was going to shoot someone, he just felt that he should have some sort of protection against... whatever. Fine. He just wanted a loaded gun. Sue him. trying to feel more important than he actually is haha

Adachi's head turned as he felt a person hovering over him. He noticed that they were eyeing him a little suspiciously as he loaded his gun. Already earning a bad rep. Not like he cared what people thought, but he quickly put on the most relaxed smile he could manage.

"If you're wondering about this, I was a police officer once! I just want to look out for people, so I have the gun for some extra protection. Can't be too careful, you know?" His voice was reassuring and cheerful.
