The problem is that these visible public figures are just bishops and rooks. They are there to absorb public vitriol. Meanwhile the real power players remain anonymous.

If we banned usury, their power would evaporate.

If we banned fiat currency, their power would evaporate.

If we banned incorporation, their power would evaporate.

And all of these policies are widely bipartisan, which is why they keep everyone divided and focused on partisan pipedreams that will never happen like immigration reform, and universal healthcare.
