"Dare."

"Sirius. I dare you to kiss the prettiest person in the room." James says with a small smile.

Sirius looks at the girl beside him. She stares back at him expectantly. Mary really is beautiful, her dark red lips are slightly pouty as she leans in.

But honestly she isn't the prettiest here.

The quiet boy sat beside Lily is. His legs a bit too long for his torso, his hair disheveled. His eyes are on Sirius, a slight concerned look on his face as Sirius starts to crawl across the circle.

"Sirius what are you doing?" Someone asks, but Sirius is too focused on the light brown scar across Remus's face to care.

He's too focused on how deeply rooted his feelings for this boy are. How every time Remus laughs Sirius wants to absorb it. How the air gets thin every time they're near each other. How he's wanted Remus for as long as he's known how to want.

Once he's made it across the circle Sirius sits in front of Remus, grabbing his face and pressing their lips together.

There are a few gasps around him, and Remus pushes Sirius away.

"Mate what the fuck" Remus whispers. "You should've kissed your bloody girlfriend."

Lily gets up from beside Remus and walks over to Mary, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the room.

"Shit" Sirius curses. "Shit shit shit."
