Today we visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. There are 2,111 concrete slabs known as "stelae" in a field. The last newspaper issue of the semester came out today. And this is the last issue I get to publish on social media for the Southern Accent. I lived & loved this job for 2 years. It's brought me incredible opportunities, including the opportunity to meet and talk with Ben Carson. I've been able to get other side jobs because of experience with working for a newspaper. I've been able to spread the news quickly and efficiently to students, alumni, and parents. Once a journalist, always a journalist.
