people can be misogynistic when they do literally anything. stop muddying the waters -- astrology is total bullshit, it is completely fabricated, it has no basis in reality. it isn't misogynistic to say that. it is misogyny to associate astrology with womanhood innately.

#had an ex tell me astrology was racism for women #bc i like astrology #so weird #tbh tho i think its more nuanced as... all things are obviously #but the “things that cant be proven rationally through science” are associated w women (and poc) bc we are underresearched #not to say that astrology is underresearched lol #but i will say a lot of people use astrology and spiritual healing as a religious and cultural practice #and im actually doing my research paper on this so i might be biased #but historically women have been able to find power in the mystical #look into the spiritualist movement! its a great example of how women were able to find ways to hold power in religious and spiritual #communities #so womanhood in our western culture is very tied to the occult and practices like astrology #the yt channel esoterica has a great playlist of videos on women mystics!#no i think its weird for men to belittle womens interests in the occult when historically that has been one of the only places we held powe #we had a voice #we were and still are leaders #communities that birthed womens rights were spiritual movements #and again i dont know as much on this but there is a whole other lense of intersectional misogyny here too #how women in non white cultures also held power in their spiritual and religious structures as well #i understand being skeptical tho #im more just saying that there is 100% a connection to women and “things that cant be proven by science”#for several reasons

given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that
