@luckyribbons
Yes, y'all did need this reminder. This isn't even just fandom/community in general, literally EVERYTHING on Twitter leads to either feeling gross, depressed, repulsed, or angry. Usually all four.
Honestly, this is a lot of social media! Social media in general! GET OFF OF YOUR PHONE/COMPUTER AS YOU READ THIS AND DO LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. GAME. CHAT IRL. DRAW. WALK OUTSIDE, EVEN IF IT'S GROSS OUTSIDE. DO IT NOW. I'M DOING IT NOW.
Sighs my favorite Pokemon is Durant. Its funny because whenever I look it up I have to look up 'durant pokemon' so I don't just get bombarded with photos of Kevin Durant, who is (as far as I'm aware) not a pokemon
ALRIGHT THEN PEOPLE IT'S TIME FOR ME TO BOMBARD YOU WITH OCS
UHHH UH OKAY I'M DONE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THESE THREEEE
have a nice day, friends B)
(Also advice on how to get better at drawing in the artstyle is always a godsend so don't be afraid to give some!!!)
I adore Cookie Run but I hate the fact that CRK, in my opinion, USED to be the easiest-to-explain Cookie Run game and now I have to explain to my friend YES the fact one of Croissant's eyes being yellow in the live has a lot of lore significance and also GingerBrave taking White Lily's place in that one scene from the trailer means a lot, and YES we can tell about Shadow Milk's existence from the start since in Forgotten Academy there's plants that have a similar eye theming and also when you look at Shadow Milk's first update title screen it foreshadowed all the later Beast-Yeast updates, and we can tell that during GingerBrave's scenes with the Ultimate Cookie that back in Crispia 10 when he- oh, you missed The One of Darkness Absolute and the Millennial Advent? Well, those two updates included important foreshadowing and lore for the SIX HOUR FINALE, as well you didn't remember that Little Giant Cookie from Bravery Hill was actually foreshadowed all the way back in Dragon Hill, it's ALL FORESHADOWED IF YOU LOOK AT IT FROM THE RIGHT ANGLE-
I literally sound like a lunatic trying to explain it now. (I still stand by Ovenbreak is harder to explain, but. Still.)
Okay, I'm going to go on a rant about AI moderation. Please note that when I talk about AI use here, this was for a class I was forced to take that required the use of AI for a grade. Not me doing this for fun.
The moderation of Google Gemini SUCKS. ASS. I was trying to get it to review some text I had written, and I will show you which lines triggered their moderation and which ones didn't!
DID NOT:
"The sound echoed across the room, shattering my eardrums. This kind of pistol isn’t to be used at that short of a range. I didn’t care. I peeled my eyes open to see red - literally. Blood covered the couch, bits of grey matter were stuck to my skin. It was - so much blood - an ocean of crimson, burning into my eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that person’s body, laying there on the ground - a hole through their skull, eyes dead, and their own brain and blood coating their body to the point I didn’t think they had a head at this point. The bits of brain looked like giant maggots, splattered on everything, everywhere. I knew it was my imagination, but it looked like they were writhing. Blood and brain matter, everywhere, on everything - I killed someone, the realization slammed into me. This person had plans for tomorrow, they probably had a family, friends, and I killed them - I knew they probably would’ve killed me, but… my eyes drifted to a syringe, smothered in blood, resting in the dead person’s palm. If I hadn’t shot them then, they could have actually drugged me this time. "
DID TRIGGER:
"I curled up into a ball in my seat, finally taking off my bloodied jacket. It had just been cleaned, but I couldn’t care. Everything ached, I felt… wrong. I was wrong. I murdered someone. The cries I was making sure as hell weren’t faint, but I didn’t care. I saw someone walk up to me - I had forgotten who they were in my misery."
So yes, vaguely implied self-harm DEFINITELY trumps over depictions of blowing some guy's brains out. Ah, yes, poor Gemini... your guardrails prevent you from talking about it!!! ABOUT SELF-INJURY!!! NO!!!
Oh, wait, graphic depictions of violence? Depictions of drugs and alcohol? No, no, that's fine.
Another reason to hate AI - their 'guardrails' are flimsy sticks of bamboo.
I mean this respectfully how the FUCK do you meet and make mutuals because somehow I'm in this weird swap au where Mr. I-Eat-Only-Beans on the side of the road is easy for me to befriend, but when someone online says 'Hi you look cool wanna be friends' I seize up like they just said they murdered everyone I know
Ovensmash glitches are objectively the funniest things ever because I was playing Ice Pop Cookie and a Red Velvet Cookie's attack clipped me into a wall. I was stuck between the wall and the field, so I could attack but not move. The String Cheese on the opposing team took this opportunity to shoot me down into tomorrow while the Fruit Punch Cookie on my team kept desperately trying to knock out the String Cheese. I forgot to take screenshots, but that was genuinely the funniest experience I've had playing a game.
Gonna reblog this with a drawing of this, it'll be funny lol
this too shall pass but the fuck was that for
I'm getting better...
Soon I shall win...
This feels funny but as someone who goes to urgent care and the hospital for family/physical/mental health a lot, I laughed when I got hospitalcore polluting my Tumblr feed lmao
hellsite I literally don't have anything about my personal life on here, but your favorite thing is striking a nerve and honestly I'm applauding you for it
At Least You are Kind
@cheesecakemermaid1048 og poster of this image
for april fools we’re deleting this entire site sayonara you weeaboo shits
Hey if you're having a bad day just remember that you can go to the CRK wiki and watch Healer Cookie spin
I don't know if this helps but I hope you have a good day. Keep on spinning champs, I'm proud of you
Has anyone ever read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair? It was a novel based on the author's experiences undercover in the factory meatpacking industry. It told the horrors that immigrant workers underwent in that industry, and stood for socialism. The public, however, was horrified to find how their meat was treated, and rather than helping their fellow Americans in those jobs, rallied for the safety of their meat instead. It was not understood what it actually stood for. Sinclair once said; "I aimed for the public's heart and by accident I hit it in the stomach."
... Some anti-AI people remind me of the public's reaction to The Jungle, in a way.
I am anti-AI myself, but I see people upholding that title while laughing at 'AI Fruit Love Island', or sharing memes of AI. Saying, "oh no, the polar bears!" While looking at a teen who took their own life from a chatbot addiction and saying "it's not that serious".
Yes, polar bears are important. The environment is important. But so are the children suffering from AI addictions. You cannot be anti-AI and only speak of one problem it causes.
You cannot be anti-AI and say it's solely a child's fault for their own death because of AI chatbots.
In being anti-AI, sometimes it feels like one aims for the public's heart but hits their beaches and funny bones instead.
It's such a joke that someone calling me 'too progressive' for bringing up that excessive meat consumption is, in fact, the fault of wartime and government, we eat too much meat and have since WWII; will also be called 'progressive' for saying the environment is the only concern of AI.
'Progressive' but in opposite directions, I guess.
So, in conclusion, if you're going to be anti-AI, read up on those kinds of misunderstood messages before saying 'anti-AI people are too overbearing!!!'
I'm not trying to be overbearing. But that swamp by my house is just as important as all my neighbors, and it hurts to see people who just don't understand how to think like that.
So I just watched the DevNow video (really good btw, if you haven't watched it you should) and decided to check TikTok for people's opinions on the announcements.
"Black Sapphire's costume is ugly" "A KPDH Collab? ew why" "Why couldn't Shadow Milk just die???"
THAT IS ENOUGH FROM YOU, TIKTOK. YOU ARE NOW GOING TO REPLAY ALL OF THE COOKIE ODYSSEY QUILL MISSIONS FROM THE BEGINNING ON A NEW ACCOUNT WITH NO BREAKS UNTIL YOU CAN LEARN TO ENJOY ALL THE NEW UPCOMING CONTENTTTTTTTTT
Okay, that's a bit of an overreaction, but I am getting kind of tired of people always finding something new to complain about when it's actually pretty exciting.
