tom-bless:
Usually, Tom wouldnât ever be the one to initiate conversation with someone in public, whether or not he knew them. He wasnât good at talking to people. But today, when the normally cozy coffee shop was about three times as full as it normally was and seating was exceptionally limited, he gathered up enough courage to pipe up to the person standing a few feet away. âHey - um, you can sit here. If you want.â He nodded towards the empty seat across from his at his table. âIâm, uh - Iâm almost done, anyways, I wonât be in your hair too long.â
lucrezia stepped inside the crowded coffee shop, letting out a short sigh as she recognized a few familiar faces. she has had enough of people telling her how sorry they are for what happened to her father, it was like a constant reminder that he was gone. she jumped slightly as she heard someone talking to her, quickly showing a polite smile. âthank you, thatâs very kind of you,â she replied as she sat on the empty seat. âdonât worry about it, sir. you arenât bothering me at all.â
