I was curious about the new tale but oof the Dorian app sucks. Hell, I'm almost tempted to remake the tale for myself so I avoid the weird transitions and add some music
I want you to know that while playing it all I could think was âBast can literally make this entire tale all on their own and BETTERâ
From what Iâve read from people, the new Asra tale doesnât make sense with continuity, doesnât have a solid plot, and fails at writing Asraâs character. Not to mention, any premium choices you unlock, have to be bought with hearts AGAIN when you reread the tale. And the CG is ONLY unlocked if you pick the premium choices.
Good job fucking everything up, Dorian. Good job with your subpar, non canon bullshit. Fuck you

Decided to at least give the new Asra tale a try and my heart has plummeted to the center of the fucking earth.
Overall, the concept of the tale was decent, but it felt rushed. Some of Asra's interactions with MC was on point while most were far off. The way some of the scenes where described didn't fit with the original way.
The app is still glitchy and the transition between characters appearing on screen is harsh.
THERE WAS NO MUSIC THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE THING.
Some of the sprites are still cut off.
The words are still bold and eye searing like in the prologue.
Nothing has been fixed.
They have released something that looks like its a quarter of the way through development.
I read through some of the comments and if you unlock a premium choice and decide to replay the tale, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AGAIN. What in the 9 FUCKS
Idk if there's new CG art bc I couldn't afford the premium scenes without spending money. And I'm not paying for the crap I just described.

I read the disc for this, and while I have many opinions that basically match all of yours, I want to reassure this:
The Arcana and Fictif app will NOT be changed. They will remain as they are, as individual apps. They are only maintained by Dorian; the content will NOT BE CHANGED.
I love the idea of characters getting to age, especially ones who go through strife or give up on themselves. I've drawn the other three in their elderly years, so here's Nadia, Julian, and Asra meeting up a couple of decades after the story

I was VERY SAD that you didnât get to give Asra a gift in the new @thearcanagame heartsong tale, so I felt the need to make him a nice CG of him getting a leetle kees for Valentines uwu
