i wanna rewrite all of supernatural and make it modern day (as in first season would be in 2026/2027) with updated references and fixed lore (cause o goodness there's so many things they either didn't answer by the time the show ended, they just kinda never mentioned again, or is just inaccurate to mythological creature lore irl ... don't even get me STARTED on the pronunciation of some of the creatures 😬)

and i wanted to log my process on here as im gonna be probably working on this for a while 🙂‍↕️

what i have atm for the first episode is:

- agender/apathgender dean winchester they/any

- genderfluid/genderqueer sam winchester he/she/they/any

- actually calling the ghost la llorona, and make it less male-focused cause majority of the actual tales surrounding her is about her crying and wailing over the loss of her son/children, and most iterations of the story has her not actually hurting anyone (except for the two versions where if you look at her it's a bad omen, and the other where she takes your finger)

- dean makes a reference to coco 🙂‍↕️

- dumbass baby sam will NOT be giggling as his mother is stuck to the ceiling above him

and that's all i got so far if anyone has any ideas please let me know !! im planning on making this a multi-year project, and i wanna actually film it eventually cause i friggin love supernatural 🫪
