It’s been day maybe weeks without work. One off a boat escort job Deegan has been down on his luck. No one wants to hire a swordsman with a wooden sword. He’s been only picking up small jobs here and there for some Gil when he can. He probably goes one meal a day or every two days even.
Deegan Ballard. A want to be samurai from Eorzea. He’s been living his whole free life trying to work jobs where he can. But hasn’t had the best luck on his own. He has a vice for drinking and blowing his money and gambling. Never having parents of his own and being raised by no one of his own blood the guy became a rebel.
What’s seems to catch the eyes of those fools who do hire him for low paying jobs is his unorthodox fighting style. No ones been able to mentor him so he just goes with the flow of the fight. So far it has been keeping him alive. Could say he’s lucky but not with what he’s been going through.
He’s been making his way pickpocketing and scamming but now he needs somewhere to lay low and fill his pockets.
