Did you know that God takes special notice of your tears? Reflect on the words of David:
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. PSALM 56:8 Whatever was going on in David’s life when he wrote this psalm had driven him to tears. The Lord takes note of our tears. He turns these situations into moments of tenderness. One of the great drawbacks of our society is its reluctance to show tears, men feel that tears are a sign of weakness and crying is immature. How unfortunate! Restraining our tears and emotions increases our pain and sorrow. When we pour out our heart before the Lord Jesus, He comforts us and fills us with hope. Thus David encouraged himself in the Lord. If you have been sad, won’t you call upon the One who’s ready to comfort and console you.
How do I tell you I love you without choking on the words?
Growing up, I never heard my family say 'I love you'. It was something people confessed in films and books and not what mother said to us or father told my mother. I love you was an exotic bird that existed somewhere in the world- too far away from us. I love you was a weakness that required immeasurable strength.
So, I pour my love in the morning coffee. And in the evening, I peel an orange for you, I love you. And I send you 15 cat pictures an hour, I love you and I hope you see it. And I text you good morning at the same time everyday, I love you, I love you, I love you. And until I learn to swallow it and live in it and whisper it, I hope you see how much I love you.

Depression often starts out small and harmless, until it slowly creeps up from behind you and consumes you entirely. Before you know it, you're knees deep into it and unable to escape. People fail to recognize the signs, not just because you've become an expert at hiding it but also because it's SO difficult to talk about.
It's world mental health day today. Please take care of yourselves and remember you are not alone 💖

Taking a mental health day doesn't mean taking the day off to "do nothing" and "be lazy". It is productive to rest, it is productive to take care of yourself, and if you have a hard time allowing yourself to recover, think of taking a break like an investment in yourself, so you can feel better to do what you want to do soon enough, because you don't have enough energy now.
Omy to achieve this ❤️❤️❤️
When you’re filling up your cup of self love, you become magnetic and irresistible to those around you. The ironic thing is, when you do evolve to that stage, you no longer care for that sort of attention because you genuinely feel fulfilled already and superficial attention no longer impresses you.
I am perpetually stuck between the desire to connect deeply with those I love and the desire to live in utter solitude. I fear equally, being disconnected from myself as much as I fear being disconnected from others.
The more time I spend alone, I feel the tug from two directions: the need to step outside my isolation and encounter the world outside of myself…and the desire to protect the world within from the unsolicited disturbances from the world without.
