Hello lovely, do you accept theme makeovers for indie rp blogs? :D

yes, it just depends what you want your theme to look like, I use the theme bases i use on the public themes i have so it will look similar to those x

heyy is there any tutorial or guideline that teaches how to code tumblr themes? i have a general knowledge of html and css but i find coding a theme extremely confusing://

I'm sure there are lots of tutorials on Tumblr or youtube that would help you!!

Personally, for me, I taught myself how to code on Tumblr just through practice and doing it a lot. I have been customising my own themes since 2011 on Tumblr and started making my own around 2017/18.

This website is really helpful to learn different HTML and CSS for Tumblr themes and in general https://www.w3schools.com/

I would recommend you start with a base code when creating themes for the first time so you have the basics down and all you have to do is customise and change the HTML and CSS to your liking! it's really simple when you get the hang of it.

yeah unfortunately the icons i have used on all my themes have broken / dont seem to work anymore. I’ll have to go in and change them and re upload the codes. sorry !

did you make sure all links are ‘https’ not ‘http’ or ‘httpss’ ? go through your theme and make sure all links are ‘HTTPS’.

HOW TO FIX THEME“HTTPS” ERROR

If you have received this error while trying to save your theme, here is how to fix it!

step 1: Go to your theme coding

step 2: Click CTRL + F / COMMAND + F and type in the search bar ‘HTTP’

step 3: Replace all ‘HTTP’ with ‘HTTPS’ in your theme by using the “replace with” tab. Write in ‘HTTPS’ then click “all”

step 4: You should now be able to save your theme!

step 5: If you still get the error message, go through your theme and make sure there are no ‘HTTPSS’. Make sure to fix any mistakes with extra letters or wrong spelling.
