Akatsuki no Yona animation 💕

Based on a panel from chapter 268 that ruined me. This one specifically ⬇️

I started drawing this in December before the final chapter came out but it ended up taking a lot longer than I thought 😅. I think I redrew the hair animation at least 4 times and finally I decided to just do it with the lasso tool and then everything went so much faster. Yona has been my favorite manga for YEARS and I've always hoped for more anime so I can't even explain the feeling when I saw the announcement that there was going to be more. I can't wait 😭💕

something possessed me today after I lost the fight with my printer and I made some akatsuki no yona fanart because i love both the anime and the manga. I used to run a fan blog specifically for it a very long time ago when I was in highschool, and I'd be fun to revisit some of my old fanart, but I think I've lost that blog forever now 😔 can't wait for the second season!
