I like how it’s actually taking most of the fandom actually seeing how Kronos was manipulating and torturing Luke in the show, for them to actually believe that Kronos was manipulating and torturing Luke. I mean, it was RIGHT THERE in the books! It’s referenced and said as a fact by multiple characters!
“Well, it was never actually shown in the books until the end so I always assumed that everything was Luke’s idea.” Yeah, that’s the freaking point! You need to actually read and process the story to understand things. Not everything is going to be handed to you on a silver platter, you need to use some critical thinking! Also, you need to remember that the books are only through Percy’s POV! Percy, who is the most unreliable narrator mainly because he is never given any or all of the information that he needs!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that they added the more scenes in the show that give more of a peak into what Luke is actually going through! But it should not have taken that for people to realize something that has been obvious since the first book.
All in all, I would like a personal apology from everyone who has fought with me when I would say that Kronos was controlling and manipulating Luke to do his bidding. After all these years it’s the least amount of compensation that I deserve 😌🤷♀️
