Adivinhem quem está escrevendo um livro, largou de ser preguiçoso e finalizou um desenho?? Sim eu! (Assumindo que vocês responderam minha pergunta) Esse desenho é tipo um posterzinho com os principais do livro. Ainda está no começo mas estou bem empolgado com o que estou criando! Até a próxima galerinha!

For me, one thing that makes it easier to pick up a pencil is remembering that art does not need to be hard. Set practical expectations for yourself, and try not to beat yourself up over it! Start with stick people comics! There are many very high-quality stick people comics out there, and there is no shame in starting there (or staying there either!)

If you have an idea for your work, and it doesn’t turn out how you want it to, you’re free to send me WIPS, and we can talk about them, and I can give you a redline or a critique!

Drive, passion, and inspiration all come from different places for everyone! If you’re doing art for fun you don’t need to turn it into a chore, and that’s something a lot of people ignore when they’re considering this. Draw if you feel like it! and if you’re really not into it and it’s making you feel sick with anxiety…take a break! There’s no way to inject inspiration into yourself! That being said, there are good habits you can make. Just start small! scribbly word lists, Tiny doodles, and Gesture drawings are very fun and can help you ease into the mood.

Take things one step at a time and don’t turn it into a chore! Push yourself when you feel up to it, don’t make yourself sick, you don’t want to associate art with anxiety and being defeated because that will make it harder.

I had to share this to say some stuff too. I know how it is to feel sometimes that “art isn’t good enough” or “I need to get better faster!”, but when you see in that perspective you’ll only be punishing yourself for something that you didn’t do wrong! When you’re starting you should enjoy art, have fun with it, create whatever you want because you can! That’s how we all started. It’s like ib pokemon, no one start with a full team with a charizard and a nidoking. We all start with one of the 3 starters with scratch and growl xD. So don’t be so hard on y’all selves, just do it because you enjoy! If you wanna get better try doing some excercises, like pose, perrspective, shapes, lighting and shading, etc. It’s a good way to draw something when you have no idea what to draw and it does make you improve over time. We all say the cliche “Practice” because it’s true but there is something called patience too that we not often say much xD But in conclusion, have your time, have fun, enjoy every moment of it, and keep practicing! <3

Carnival Kerfuffle: The Animatic starring Beppi the Clown

The instant I saw this fucker in Cuphead I only had one voice for him in my head; Charlie Adler. Audio is from a bunch of clips from Cow and Chicken. My best guess as to what Beppi’s behavior was like is exactly that of the Red Guy and if Cuphead were a modern cartoon it would have the absurd and almost uncomfortable humor of a 90′s cartoon. I hope you all enjoy this.
