I wish that Castle Town committed more to its pop-up picture book aesthetic. I think it’s perfect for it.
The ire Poppy gets from the fandom irks me, I don't think it's deserved at all. All she wants is the best ending for herself and the rest of the toys that have suffered, and she thought that escaping to the outside world would only result in the same disgusting experimentation happening once again, and that the only peace they'd find is in death. I don't think I agree with her, but I understand and sympathize with her.
I'd bet that Kris's favorite type of flowers are Chocolate Cosmos. Dark red color, chocolate scent; makes perfect sense. My new headcanon is that, after learning that Kris favors Choclate Cosmos, Asgore began to grow them in his shop, and gifts some of them to Kris every once in a while.
Someone should edit the Ch4 weird route jingle into the period of silence after Cassie is dropped down the elevator, I think it'd be really funny.
I don’t think a single FNAF SB fanfic that has the glitches be a real part of the story have ever had a dumb moment where Gregory clips out of bounds and meets Old Man Consequences, who gifts Gregory an Egg.
When Vanessa goes to the store, she brings out a comically large purse for Gregory to ride in.
Vanessa struggles, dragging the purse along the ground slowly as Gregory sips Capri Suns and eats those nasty ass oatmeal cookies that kids like for some reason.
Nobody questions this and treats it as if it’s not something completely ridiculous.
It bothers me when fanfictions that have the Glamrocks hate Gregory, also have them be buddies with Vanessa, while Vanessa is taking care of Gregory and is on good terms with him. I dunno, it's probably irrational of me to feel this way, but it's kind of annoying. Why would she be friendly with a group of people that hate and wish the child she was in charge of was dead for protecting himself against them? It aggravates me. I cannot find it in me to sympathize with the Glamrocks for being destroyed by Gregory when they not only were being forced to attempt to murder him, but were forced to murder other children. In their shoes, I would simply be relieved that he managed to survive. Holding it against him makes them come off as villains; it doesn't come across as a morally grey/neutral, nuanced situation to me, but as misplaced anger. I think it's a bit childish and dumb for me to feel this way, and obviously I don't try to scold people who write their stories that way, obviously nobody has to share my opinions or like the characters that I do, but personally, I don't get it. (This isn't a recent thought, I've had this thought since freshman year of university, I just usually keep these things to myself unless I'm bored and feel like venting on here; the blog is more or less like my diary.)
Steel Wool's latest tweet implies that the next FNAF game will perhaps take place in a water park that has been built over the Pizzaplex after it has been torn down. Here are my arbitrary thoughts regarding this: 1.) Cassie is most likely still creeping along somewhere underground, and is probably the second "Vanny." 2.) Vanessa and Gregory likely think Cassie has died, and didn't go looking for her. 3.) M2 has continued its killing spree, using the underground as its "base."
I'm expecting the next FNAF game to be a spiritual remake of Security Breach. As for the whole Patient 46/GGY stuff? I'm honestly wondering if it's been retconned into having Patient 46 be a completely brand new character.
I cannot describe my euphoria in a way that would do it justice when I listened to “Petal Dance” for the first time.
A solo Kris fight against a humanoid character that is simply pretending to be human carried intuitive emotional weight for me.
I keep daydreaming about writing a FNAF fanfic, inspired by early Yu-Gi-Oh!, about GGY murdering people by defeating them at games he challenges them to. I think the perfect title for a story like that would be "Game King." I wonder about the types of games I'd have the characters play. I wouldn't want them to play the actual Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, but other abstract strategy games like Chess or Go. Mahjong and Poker are ones that seem interesting to write about. Marbles interests me as well. Of course, two player arcade games would also be appropriate, in addition to pinball.
I like to imagine that Gregory would bring a porcupine into the house and beg Vanessa to let him keep it.
Vanessa, of course, makes him put it back outside. Gregory would secretly feed it each time he went outside.
One day, Gregory comes home to find a large group of porcupines outside their house, realizing that he’s fed multiple ones, and that he has amassed an army.
He has named all of them “Vanessa the Second.”
While Vanessa and Gregory are hanging out in the living room, Gregory suddenly disintegrates into a pile of dust.
Before Vanessa can get the chance to have a meltdown, the real Gregory leaves his bedroom and walks into the living room. He sees the dust and says “oh yeah, today was my homunculus’s expiration date, I completely forgot, haha.”
Vanessa stares at the wall for half an hour wondering if she’s going crazy or not. She has learned to not question Gregory’s business.
Sometime after, Gregory teaches Vanessa how to make her own homunculus. Vanessa messes it up, resulting in her’s being a little worm. It spits venom at her, prompting Vanessa to smash it with a heavy book.
