I am going to assign Yu-Gi-Oh! archetypes to Vanessa, Gregory, and Cassie:

Vanessa: Frightfur (includes Fluffal/Edge Imp)

Gregory: Speedroid

Cassie: Gem-Knight

If Yuya summons Hip Hippo in attack mode and passes, you might as well just forfeit the duel right then and there. No chance of beating him in that scenario.

I'm not so sure that the Mimic will be defeated peacefully. I think the most likely outcome is that M1 devises some plan that results in both her and M2 being destroyed.

I like to imagine that Kris would play abstract strategy games like Chess and Tak. Despite the game treating them as the opposite, I prefer to think of them as someone that does not really enjoy playing video games that much (at least on their own). Kris would prefer to play board games, and multiplayer video games with other people in the same room.

I think that what Seam will create, once we have given them all of the Shadow Crystals, is the Pure Crystal, which is one of the items that is needed to create the Twisted Sword. I would imagine that the Pure Crystal is likely a piece of armor, since I cannot imagine a reward for defeating several superbosses would simply be an item with one, singular, optional use.
