#art #doodles #illustration #ocs #one piece #one piece oc #op ocs #Mack Daymia #Venati #The Chameleon #Venati and The Chameleon are on the same crew but Mack is the captain of her own crew #btw 'The Chameleon' is just a title given to them such as 'pirate hunter'. but they're very secretive and don't let people know their name #their whole thing is that they're always in disguise and switching between different identities/aliases #and they're really good with makeup/costuming so they can blend into the crowd easily. and people on recognize them by the mask they put on #when they want to be recognized but not *recognized* by their appearance you know ?#which is why I've had such a hard time designing them #that design there is technically not final. but it's the best I've got rn #oh also Venati is a bush dog mink and a navigator :]

#art #illustration #ocs #original character #welcome to aerth #Aspen #umm. not tagging who the hands belong to lol #but they should be fairly recognizable (except for like. 3 of them which are just there to fill space. random citizens idk)#also I would've made this a little darker but I felt like you couldn't really tell what was going on so 🤷#and with the lighting it's kind of hard to tell but that hand in the back is meant to be blue with mint colored nails #I wanted it to almost blend in with the background though (while still being visible enough)#also it might not be clear but the original idea was that lower hands put them one the pedestal #and the large scarey hand kind of did too but wants them off of it #the scarey is more about umm. Aspen's suddenly got a bunch of people thinking highly of them #and they're in the spotlight with all these eyes on them #and yet they're not even aware of the real danger they're in (big scarey hand. which is meant to be the king's hand btw)#(I haven't designed that guy yet though)#but the responsibility and everyone counting on them and the pressure to perform scares Aspen enough already #but also I suppose you could interpret it any way you wish. I'm not in charge of you #and tbh it could be anything

New welcome to aerth refs + also new character :]

#art #illustration #ocs #oc reference #refs #welcome to aerth #Aspen #Vesper #Magnolia #Ronnie #Sinclair #not much of a design change for Aspen or Ronnie #I just wanted to redo their refs because I'm planning on doing something later to show all their designs throughout the story #and tbh I don't actually know what changes Ronnie would have to their design yet but I couldn't leave them out #also the colors in their old ref didn't have much contrast so I fixed that 👍#except Vesper because I didn't like their old pose #and they all get the same poses as their old refs because I didn't want to come up with something else #oh and Sinclair does not actually go to aerth or anything #she's Aspen’s cousin who looked up to them a lot and when they went missing she tries looking for them #and she doesn't given up hope even though the evidence is inconclusive and they're missing for like. 2 years #one thing about Aspen is that they were very cynical and pessimistic before they got to aerth and they thought no one cared about them #and that nobody would care if they disappeared #but there she was. the whole time
