Do you think you’ll continue the comic in comic form or in text form (like a fanfic of sorts)?

Im going to use this opportunity to answer this question once and for all w the utmost sincerity and honesty, since it is one i get a lot. There are no hard feelings whatsoever, before u misunderstand anon! I just feel like i should give a proper answer, and since im not limited to a tiny word count like in tiktok comments, this is the best time to do it.

Truth be told, when i was working on the first chapter, i was riding the new-fixation high and had a crazy burst of motivation and energy that let me draw those 50 pages or whatever over the span of those first few months. I dont draw as a profession though, as much as id love to do that, so alongside keeping up regular drawing and posting on tiktok, I also work close to 50 hours a week And am studying for an ENVQ qualification. You can imagine that, as an old man in my mid-twenties, at some point the energy and motivation just kinda deplete lol, which is exactly what happened. I essentially ran myself into the ground, went thru a seven month burnout which i am still trying to claw myself out of, and have been dealing w a bunch of health issues both mental and physical.

My main flaw as an artist is the fact that i have terrible commitment issues in regards to sticking to a long-term project. I simply cannot stay motovated enough to see something through to the end because im busy juggling adult life and survival alongside it. Thats why you see me post so many “one shot” doodles and mini comics. They require far less energy and can be completed within a day or weekend or smth, which is much more manageable. SO, to answer ur question; while i would love to finish the comic, i cant say that i ever will. Not unless someone rich wants to adopt me as their live-in artist and pay my rent and bills so i can just draw all day & get shit done haha
