There are a lot of baby Jace and baby Lilianas out there, but the truth is it’s up to you. Gideon isn’t so far out there, it’s uncommon but still a name in use in the West.

My kefnet deck is turning out to be really opressive. Last night I used brainstorm imprinted on isochron, with scry from Jace’s sanctum to set up for/miracle on opposing turns. Next turn miracle blatant thievery, turn after cast it normally, next then miracle call to mind and call blatant thievery, cast call to mind and then blatant thievery. Shuffle your yard into your library and proceed to see a quarter of it with various draw and scary effects. Or better yet, miracle a merchant scroll.

The same thing is true with counterspells. I was worried that I’d cut too many but between the draw and the spell recursion I’m running it’s not been too much of a problem. Only gets smoother late game when filtering gets set up.

Want a piece of advice? If you can, get a playset of these. Tomik, on top of being cool in the story, is a really clean answer to Lands/Loam decks in Legacy and I really think Death & Taxes are going to play these in their sideboard. The only way Lands deck can deal with this is with Assassin’s Trophy or Abrupt Decay and Mother of Runes can protect Tomik from them, so yeah. I don’t think the card will be worth of fortune, but I can easily see this being worth 10+$ over the next few years. That’s just my opinion though.
