Unstable reality;
Death, ghosts, and the undead;
Hallucinations and hearing voices of ambiguous origin;

I think people would be less suicidal if they were allowed to talk about being suicidal without risk of being sent to the Torture Dungeon
"Obsolete Friends is a story focused semi-horror RPG Maker game where you play as Luna, a Moon Guardian bunny, in their everyday routine of helping out their neighbors. Help them bring kindness and hope in a world that has been consumed by darkness, get to know your strange but friendly neighbors and be the best friend you can be! You don’t need to hold an arospec identity to have complicated or ambivalent feelings about romance. You can opt out of romantic relationships out of principle, circumstance, or simple preference without having to form an arospec identity, and you can do it even if you consider your experiences of romantic desire and attraction to be similar to what many people who identify as alloromantic and who form romantic relationships experience.
Giving critical thought to normative relationship models is both the right of all people and the basis of allyship to all people who are negatively impacted by amatonormativity. You can criticize normative expectations of romance, love, intimate relationships, attachment, and sociality without being a special type of person, and it’s good for all people to question assumptions about what kind of feelings are necessary for ethical and positive relationships and what kind of interpersonal relationships are or should be necessary for a person to live and thrive with dignity and needs met.
i hope the people who write fiction podcasts know that they're doing truly life saving work and i mean that genuinely.
seeing characters like me find places where they are loved and celebrated for who they are gave me so much hope when i was in my early teens and queer and neurodivergent at a christian school and had friends who didn't really like me. it gave me something to hold onto. it helped me believe that there was somewhere for me where nobody would think i was annoying, or too much, or broken.
anyways, all this to say that queer storytelling and representation is important.

Tomorrow at 2pm CST, I’m going to be hanging out in the @podcast-bookclub lounge, listening through all of The Hundred House Street, our latest series on Tales From Wolf Mountain. I hope you join me.
The Hundred House Street is a surreal sapphic erotic thriller set in a neighborhood that repeats itself forever where nothing ever changes and there are only two people in the world. It’s four episodes long and runs for about 2 hours.
This story is intended for mature audiences.
Content Warnings: The Hundred House Street includes themes and explicit descriptions of sexual and domestic violence, gun violence, torture, sexual material, suicidal ideation, and strong language.

Habeas Corpus
An exorcist and a necromancer walk into a lighthouse. Content warnings: death, gore
Horror, drama, comedy. This episode is 17 minutes long and the show is undecided on continuing.
People are killing it with the comedy!!! (👉👉)
This story opens with us listening to the main character sending out a bunch of job applications and. it hurts. deep in my soul. It's so funny and so real, I'm taking psychic damage. There are some bold choices made here and I adore it.
I love all the different characters. Everyone is just a little over the top in their own way, in a way that's just really silly and fun and grounded. These sure are Characters and yet they all have something I can relate to. I like how there's an exploration of the loss of a friend through death and also through growing apart, and how these themes are connected by The Body. Both are under question - is it time to move on and let dead things be? Should we give it another 20 years?
Ah, I'm just a sucker for stories about loss and grief.
But don't let my meandering thoughts fool you - I'd call this a high paced, comedy-first story. It's a really interesting pilot because it's given itself so many avenues to further explore this world they created. Would we continue to follow Noor or switch between the other introduced characters? Would we learn more about the lighthouse and its keeper? Would it keep this tone or surprise us with emotional gutpunches? Habeas Corpus I send you a review please respond /lh
And finally: I adore the cover art of this pod, one of my favorites. A black and white image of a lighthouse inside of a broken snowglobe, water spilling out. It's quite stark, yet has these delicate waves. Really cool design.
