I was not expecting to be so happy with this piece.

In ASOIAF, Daenerys is a young girl. She’s 13 when it starts, I believe. The show changes her age, which is fine, but I’ve noticed the book fanart of her consistently makes her a sexy, fully grown adult woman. When you read the books, her immaturity is clear. She’s forced to grow up and sexualize herself, but she is still undeniably a child. I wanted to draw fanart of her where she is a child.

Also, I love that in the books, she wears bells in her hair for her victories, like Dothraki khals do. She is still a Khaleesi.
