I know everyone’s drawing the tall lady right now, but I’ve been playing a lot of Mario and I wanted to try my hand at drawing Bowsette. I feel like my Bowsette is a little unconventional, but I wanted her to be more animal like. This might just be a lady-Bowser honestly, especially considering I forgot to give her the peach crown! 😅

The first one I drew yesterday when I was messing around with construction paper. It’s nice to draw outside a sketchbook sometimes, and the colored paper is nice because you can use a white colored pencil for highlights. The second drawing was my first attempt at drawing her.

Any headcanons on Bowser and Bowsette’s parents?

Brutus and Ursa Koopa, the parents of Bowser and Bowsette.

I’m still not entirely sure what their personalities would be, but I can imagine them being sorta-kinda viking like. Perhaps the “kingdom” wasn’t even a kingdom in their time, it was simply a large mass of land that tribes inhabited, and they led the strongest one.

I’d imagine that they are largely absent from Bowser and Bowsette’s life: when either are asked who raised them they will, without hesitation, say “Kamek”. Kamek (quite possibly a slave to their parents) was there when they weren’t, hell he was the one who named the two, not their parents. At most they’d probably simply give things to their children in a very low-effort way of showing… affection? But they hardly paid much attention to either, far too busy leading their warriors into countless raids. Bowser remembers them the most and he has pretty mixed feelings about them. Bowsette remembers nothing of them: she was too young to, and they shortly disappeared after her birth.

No one really knows what happened to them. They left on another one of their raids and simply… vanished. Are they dead? Did they just decide to runaway somewhere? Something else? No one knows. Bowser probably figures its for the best, but maybe that’s what Bowsette is out doing on her many adventures: searching for answers on their whereabouts.

Totally forgot to upload this here like a month ago, but with Prehistoric Planet now out in it’s entirety, I figured I would catch-up. Here is the father T. rex from Prehistoric Planet (known to some as “Hank”) hanging out with some other Rex dads/families across paleomedia. See if you can name all the references!
