i think the fact that caine LOVES the humans is what makes him sooo ADHD/neurodivergent coded. because i know that when i really want someone to like me but i think they don't like me i get really really bitter when i see them enjoying themselves (eg "how DARE you have more fun w them over me when im literally such a good person that's always looking out for you??? im literally right here??") and like you really want them to love you but at the same time you cant stand them because they dont love you the way you love them and the WORST part is you dont know why so you overthink every minute you acted too weird or said something wrong because how can they hate you when you dont know what you did wrong?

in gerudo village there's a running joke that no non-gerudos can say their "v"s properly ie: "no, not Bai, Vai!"

and this joke doesn't make much sense in translation because we absolutely have V words, why wouldn't they be able to say them?

but when you take a look at the japanese language (yk...cause nintendo is japanese) they don't have a v sound!

so how would they pronounce vai? "バイ", which is romanized as bai!

and thats why non-gerudos struggle with gerudo names!

I'm not entirely sure. I know that the base is the hiragana for "U," but it has a chii-sama modifying it's sound, I believe.

From what I could tell, it's not a hiragana that's used often, so I really don't have much information on it.

i love the idea of regional differences! considering the span between the events leading up to botw and botw itself im surprised there arent more diaspora or travelers visiting different areas or even forming new civilizations altogether!!

like what if more gerudo traveled to necluda and got more acquainted with hylian and sheikah folk? or even zoras moving west and gerudos and zoras living together in their own civilization? i get that nintendo kept the races generally divided for simplicity but i love the idea of some areas just blending together with a plethora of different races in climates all of those races can thrive in!
