So I want to make a post about my goals regarding all my socials and what I do
So first and foremost my main goals are to: have fun doing what I enjoy, share my passions and enjoyment with the world, document as I work through my healing and polish the years of trauma basically working on my healing and watch how I grow and shine more how much I change and grow, and work on my healing.
My minor goal is for some of these to produce an income, but that is absolutely not a main focus as I am financially stable through my partner and he doesn’t want me stressing myself out trying to make money.
With my crafting pages specifically I do want to increase my following there so that it’ll be viable when I set up Etsy and printful with shopify, the main goal here is I love crafting but if I craft to my hearts content and don’t sell/give away what I create there will be no space in the house lol so I want to make sure there’s space and we’ll I’m sure other people may enjoy my creations so in my mind selling them is a win/win situation. I get to craft more and more, and other people get to have what I make!
Overall I share what I do online because it’s fun for me, because it gives other people a break from the outside world for a bit, because my YouTube videos bring hope to others, my makeup tutorials are designed to be more beginner friendly, as they get to see every step of the process and I mostly use makeup you can find at Walmart or the drug store instead of just using high end expensive makeup all the time, and I always end those videos with a reminder to be yourself, do what makes you happy as long as it doesn’t harm anyone, and don’t let anyone dull your sparkle. I want to see everyone be the best version of themself as they can be, I want to see people grow and heal and help others.
Now with my twitch channel my reason for doing that is very simple: I can game better and longer if I have people to talk to while I’m gaming, if I don’t have that I tend to go into a dissociative episode and have to stop gaming within 30-60 minutes and I have so many games I have access to that I want to play so streaming my gaming is the best way to do that for me.
I am disabled and have no income of my own, I’ve been through abuse and trauma for most of my life, I’m finally at a place where I can just have fun and most importantly heal and grow. If that produces an income that’s fantastic, if people gift me things from my Amazon wishlists that’s amazing, but those aren’t my main priorities. I want to share hope, and a break from life. I’ve been told I do that through my content so I will continue to do so.
