Juggalos, Furries and Guy Fieri are the holy trinity of “these people are the most undeserving of hate yet get culturally shat on by the commonfolk for having unique looks and personalities that are considered ‘odd’ ”
stop trying to fuck clowns. nobody wants to fuck a clown. all of you are just cowards who think peniswizzle is hot. get you act together and quit kidding yourself we all know you just haven’t gotten over the raw lust Gamzee Makara made you feel in 2012
So since homestuck is getting around again
As a non-American reading homestuck, finding out juggalos are a real thing that exist and not something hussie made up was the most surreal thing that ever happened to me
IS STEVEN UNIVERSE OVER???
Wow. So many questions have been answered. So many things that we've been waiting for happened in those last episodes.
-WE GOT DIAMOND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND I FCKING LOVE IT.
-We got fusions: Rainbow Quartz 2.0, Sunstone, Obsidian, (which all followed one another really quickly tbh)
-We got new forms for literally everyone (PERIDOT AND LAPIS, FINALLY OMFG)
-It is now confirmed(?) that Pink/Rose will indeed never come back! Even Stevens gem is just HIS gem. Rose is gone forever (?)
-LARS AND SALLY REUNION BUT NO KISS?? MHHHHHHH
-The diamonds fixed the gems.
Knowing how long we waited for all this, I'm kinda hmm frustrated? Like it seems kinda rushed but I'm also SO GLAD WE FINALLY GET ALL THIS AAAHHHH but now I'm wondering: with the diamonds on our side, Steven not having to stress out about his identity anymore and problems being solved (Lars is back, the bubbled gems are fixed) what is there left for the show?
some weird Pink&White swap!au that suddenly popped up in my mind
Insatiable is a super weird show but I was joking about how these two were so gay™ for each other but like this is hollywood and there is no way they would make the two 50 year old men who are successful attorneys and are constantly competing against each other actually fall in love but. but they did it. they kissed and then this happened. and. I’m just shocked that they did it. I’m so used to shows like… playing it for a joke/drama.
note: the show may be seen as problematic in a few ways so this isn’t glorifying it overall but so far I’m weirdly intrigued and I am into these two being a thing
Watch Insatiable if you want:
- at least 5 LGBTQ characters
- fairly diverse cast
- demons
- exorcisms
- beauty pageants
- a pedophile/r*pist WHO GOES TO JAIL LIKE EZRA SHOULD HAVE IN PLL
- kidnappings and failed kidnappings
- wiener tacos
- a moronic mother/daughter duo who somehow pull off so many schemes even though they have about 7 brain cells between the two of them
- 2 guys who seem like fuqbois but are actual sweethearts
- laugh out loud idiotic characters
- a main character who may or may not be the villain
- a show that shows, through over-the-top drama and comedy, that just because you’re pretty on the outside doesn’t mean you’re pretty on the inside
On a real note, Insatiable isn’t the villainous show it’s been made out to be. It’s not a revenge story. It’s a story about a girl who goes through a dramatic weight loss and expects her life to be perfect because she’s thinner. But, of course, it’s not. She learns the hard way that being a good person is far more important than being attractive. This is a much better “controversial” Netflix show than 13 Reasons Why. It’s goofy and campy and shows that being thin doesn’t mean anything if you’re a bad person.
I was born wiccan?
I have always been fascinated by the moon, especially when it's full moon. I always felt the presence of my deceased mother while looking at it.
So time passes by and I decide to get a tattoo for my 18th birthday. Something related to my mom and the moon preferably.....you guessed it, thats when I got my Triple Goddess tattoo, not completely knowing what it meant, but it felt perfect.
A year later I'm looking up religions, I have always been atheist, feeling very VERY out of places in churches and such. But I knew there was something, something I wanted to believe in, like the MOON, or my MOTHER, or "THE GODDESS OF THE MOON" or something.....
So I start reading about the wiccan religion and it's like an illumination. Like their goddess is literally represented by the moon and the full moon represents the mother LIKE. I KNEW IT. I FELT IT. So I look at my tattoo and I'm like "omgoddess you're even better than I thought"
I decide to buy a book about Wicca and when I get it... guess what my dad tells me.
He says:"..haha... "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch"..."
My name is Sabrina. IS THIS A CONSPIRACY?
I was doing an expression meme challenge on twitter, so all of these were fan suggestions! These were super fun to do so thank you all!

How to do “extra” facial expressions!
Drawing basic facial expressions is not the hardest. Most people can draw a sad face, a happy face, angry etc., but making more multidimensional expressions is more of a challenge. I have gotten a lot of compliments on how I draw facial expressions, (specifically “angsty ones”) telling me that they are very dramatic and well… expressive! And there are actually only a few things I think about when I draw faces that take them to the next level, so I thought i’d illustrate them all here!
SUPER IMPORTANT TIP BEFORE WE START: Look at your own face when you draw faces. Even making the face when you are drawing (you don’t even have to look at it), will give you some sense of how the face muscles pull and where things fold and stretch, because you can feel it. You are the best reference when it comes to facial expressions!
Angles
Draw the head in an angle that matches the expressions you want to make. It is not a requirement, but is going to add to the effect.
Symmetry vs asymmetry
A face is rarely symmetric. Unless the face the character is making is 100 % relaxed or even dissociating, the eyebrows, mouth and facial muscles will have different placements of their respective side. This image shows the dramatic impact asymmetry has on a face:
That’s the difference between a smile and a smirk!
The first one’s like “oh yeah?” and the second is like “oH YEAH??”
The “balloon squishing principle”
This is something I did subconsciously, and I didn’t know about until I made this tutorial. And this principle goes hand in hand with an asymmetric face. Basically, if you squish one part of the face, you need to even out the empty space by “inflating” the other part of the face so that it doesn’t appear shrunken. The picture hopefully explains it:
Teeth
Don’t forget to add the gum when the mouth is open to its full potential!
Squinting and folding
Adding folds around the eyes when a character is squinting makes a HUGE difference. It makes a smile more genuine and a growl more intimidating. Adding folds to the face in general makes your characters more lifelike and ‘visually relatable’. Like, they look human, and less plastic or fake.
and so on..
Pupils and irises
The placement of the iris and pupil in relation to the eyelids is very important! The less of the white you see, the more relaxed the character is.
And then of course eyebrows and eyes go hand in hand!
Gestures, spitting, sweating…
Adding more elements than just a face is key to making the character actually look like they are feeling what you want them to feel. Just the tiniest sweat drop adds to their anxiety, spitting adds frustration to their rage, slouching shoulders, waving hands, a double chin, extreme angles, the list goes on! Add whatever and see what kind of impact it makes! Does it do the trick? Great! Add it!
Over exaggeration!!
Remember that you can almost always exaggerate more. Don’t be afraid to do draw “too much” because you’re just experimenting. See what works and what doesn’t. What do you like to exaggerate?
Now that you know some theory, it’s time to practice!
Practicing!!
The 25 Essential Expressions (a classic! I’ve done it multiple times)
And the one I do when I’m bored:
Fill a page with circles and fill them in with different expressions. Try and exaggerate as much as you can!
This is mostly for experimenting. They are quicker to draw than complete faces, but the same rules should apply!
And that’s about it!
I don’t know if I covered everything in this tutorial, since some things might be obvious for me, and this post perhaps only scratches the surface. So feel free to send me a message if you want an explanation about something more in depth! Thank you for reading! And now DRAW!!! ✨🎨
Damn I feel like this sure was appreciated!! I’m just reblogging from myself again bc I changed my URL.
But I also realized, now months later, that I COMPLETELY forgot one of the most important tips I have when drawing convincing facial expressions, and that is drop the entire “trying to draw pretty” thinking.
What I mean by that is to stop focusing so much on making the character express their emotions whilst still looking conventionally attractive, because let me tell yall, that’s not convincing at all.
In the heat of the moment, a person automatically drops their facade, no matter how vain or insecure, and will show their most inner raw self, even if it is only for a split second. They don’t care right now. That’s when you see ugly crying, snot dripping, spitting, sweating, gritting teeth and lips pulling in different directions to their extreme..
If you don’t show this “ugly” side, the observer will not be able to relate to your drawing, because nothing there is familiar. It’s not what THEY (aka real people) look like when they are expressing extreme emotion!
Here are some examples of mine! Here I focused on trying to make them look sad. Not just crying, I wanted them to look genuinely heartbroken or distressed out of their mind. So I tried to focus on scrunching their faces up real good, REALLY open that mouth and show their teeth and gum, adding lots of folds around the eyes because they are closing really hard, resulting lot’s of squish, etc etc. Lots of subtle detail that can all be exaggerated. And remember that a lot of the emotion is in the eyebrows !! Maybe even the most!
Anyways, I could go on an on, but it’s really just about practicing and not being afraid to draw “ugly”. Really push those boundaries and draw draw draw!! ✨✨
