âI can get you a towel or something! Wet clothes must be like the worst feeling.âÂ
âNo itâs fine. Itâs a pretty warm day out so itâll dry naturally. The coldness of my wet shirt is cooling me down somewhat.â

âI can get you a towel or something! Wet clothes must be like the worst feeling.âÂ
âNo itâs fine. Itâs a pretty warm day out so itâll dry naturally. The coldness of my wet shirt is cooling me down somewhat.â
âOh - no iâm sorry I was just trying to get this hose to work I need a pail of water - itâs just tough to operate it gets stuck, iâm so sorry.âÂ
âI guess Iâll forgive you if it was an accident. I was getting quite warm out here anyway and that cold water has cooled me down somewhat so I guess I should be thanking you.â
âI just wanted to annoy you.â Noah stated, a smug grin appearing on his face as he tried to lighten the mood.
âYou did huh? The I suppose you wonât mind if I do this then!â She says the last part quickly as she throws her own small bucket of water over him.
âBoohoo, cry me a river.â Jonathan said with a sigh as he chucked the filled up bottles on the ground to fill the next one. âArenât we doing that? Weâre all split up in teams, making sure we survive. We could be sitting down, pitying each other as well but here we are.â
Luna rolls her eyes as she fills up the bottles one after the other. âI donât know If iâd consider splitting up into teams in order for survival is what i meant by making the best of a bad situation. I was joking you know? I guess theres no room for joking around in this cruel cruel world.â

âItâs definitely that you needed a bath. Now stop acting like a bitch about it, get that stick out of your ass and fill the bottles. Weâre not here for shits and giggles but to gather water. The group has probably gotten their hands on some food and shit already.â
âWell excuse you. Gosh, not even a please? Honestly people are so rude.â She mutters out as she continues to fill up the bottles. âYou know, there is nothing wrong with making the best of a bad situation.â
âAre- Are you kidding me right now?!â She yells as the water went over her. âOK, so maybe I have a lot of blood on my clothes right now and my clothes seem quite dirty and my hair may be knotted but I can honestly say I showered this morning! So were you trying to not so very discreetly and slightly offensively give me a bath or am I just that hot?â
âI doubt that will happen. I donât do accidents. And my reflexes are on point.âhe said, glancing at her. âIâve been around werewolves who were hurt in a crossfire before. By crossfire I mean coming at each other with fangs and claws. A young one, how delightful - I guess youâre still learning a whole lot? - Donât call me boss. Just Ivan.â
âYou never know. One day tough guy.â She grins before raising an eyebrow. âDang thatâs intense and yeah pretty much. I donât even know who the werewolves in town are, maybe Iâm just a really shit werewolf. Iâm fucking Moon-Moon! Heck I donât even know If Iâm supposed to mark my territory. Iâm definitely not peeing up a tree, maybe a nice note will do. - Alright bos-I mean Ivan.â She adds teasingly.
âBiceps as big as his on tiny you, that would be weird to look at now that I imagine it. I didnât catch your name there, princess.â
âOh right yeah...never looked at it like that. That would be pretty odd looking. Well, letâs hope I get his ravishing good lucks then instead because damn. You didnât? Well I kind of like that nickname but I guess Iâll tell you. The names Luna.â
âIâm all down for that. If weâre going to end up dying, may as well as do it before we go.â He gave her a wink. He stood, his jaw dropping as he watched her take out the crook. âWow you go girl, didnât expect that from you.Have a little anger mixed in there. I donât think they really give a shit if weâre talking, they just want to eat us or whatever they do.â
Luna chuckles. âRight? I donât know why more people arenât on board with it.â She says before smirking. âPeople always underestimate small people. We have a lot of power. - Iâm an angry person naturally...oops? Yeah true, the greedy little bastards
She hated feeling helpless but the man was at least a hundred pounds heavier than she was and she didnât stand a chance. She was sure this was it, she was going to die but then out of nowhere she saw a flash of blonde hair and the man was off of her. âIâm fineâthank you.âShe said quickly moving to stand up.Â
Luna offers the girl her hand to help her up. âNot at all! I canât stand people like him. Iâm glad I got here in time, he could of done a lot worse.â
âOkay, Thor, you sway your hammer. - Listen, lets survive this today first, and play Grey;s Anatomy in an on call room later.â
âI will! Maybe Iâll get biceps as big as his who knows. Alright, Iâll be holding you too that. Survival first. Got it.â
âWho would know, right? This is exactly what we talked about last time.âhe said under his breath, and approached her, handing her over a gun he had hidden. âPlease donât shoot yourself. I donât find the smell of werewolves blood appealing. Safety is here, aim and pull the trigger. Try not to miss. And donât shoot one of our own people.â
âExactly! I wonât be surprised if the next time we come across one another I accidentally punch you in the face or something.â She chuckles. âOh so youâve smelt it before then? Iâve been one a year so i havenât really had the chance to injure myself so seriously so I always thought Itâd would have smelt like daisies.â She grins before she pays attention and nods her head. âGot it. Thanks boss.â
âOh please- just because I actually have feelings doesnât mean itâs going to get me killed. Whatâs the point in even trying to survive if you donât keep your own humanity? Donât get cocky- if all you can do it shove an axe in someones face you are beyond replaceable sweetheart. Remember thatâ
âFeelings can be a serious disadvantage and just because Iâm choosing to not show them right now doesn't mean I donât have them. If I choose to feel anything at all right now Iâm just going to think of how much these crooks were once a living-breathing person and killing them will just make me feel as though Iâm a murderer and thinking that is just going to slow me down. Oh yeah? That doesnât bother me, at least I know I can take a break every now and then.â
âTheyâre still humanâ Her words were short and to the point. If they could figure out how to cure this epidemic all the people out there would be fine. In a sense âEither way now isnât really the time to be an insensitive dick about things- people are hurting the last thing they need is someone making it worseâÂ
âThey stopped being human around the time they became cannibalistic with the only thought âwhatâs next for dinner?â or should I say, who, circling around in their messed up brains. Being an, as you so nicely but it, insensitive dick just means Iâm more likely to survive whatever the fuck is going on. Being sensitive means thereâs a chance youâre going to break down in the middle of the street and those people you still think are human will snatch them right up. - Look around! This whole situation is getting worse without my help.â
âYeah- well I do. And so do most of these people in this buildingâ Olivia snapped. It was unintentional but she was stressed to say the least. As a lot of the people behind these walls were âYou realise that these people are still human right? You are literally killing humans- good to know you arenât emotionally affected by thatâ
Luna shrugs again. âI donât doubt it.â She says as she crosses her arms. She looks around at the dead bodies of the infected and raises an eyebrow. âYeah, maybe they were, once. Now theyâre all just cannibalistic psycho's without any humanity and even though itâs hurts a lot of people, we have to face the facts. They arenât going to be he people they once were and itâs about time we all stopped believing theyâre going to be,â
