An au with them (dog Ren and cat Meowtyn) having lived together when Meowtyn just suddenly disappeared one day and Ren is searching for them while trying to avoid the corruption. And Meowtyn is so quick to take in a dog because it felt inexplicably comfortable and familiar amid everything they’ve been thrown into.
