I made this poster to advertise Freestyle Fridays during the 2013/2014 season. It was a blast!
Check out www.chesterbowl.org for more info.
This is another image I made for The Chester Bowl Improvement Club. It was printed onto wooden postcards! Check out www.chesterbowl.org
I created this image from a picture I took of the iconic Chester Creek. It was used as a promotional item for The Chester Bowl Improvement Club. Check out the website www.chesterbowl.org
These are some diagrams I made for some new features I plan on building for Chester Bowl.
This is Chester Bowl's 2012/2013 Freestyle Fridays Poster I made this past summer. I coordinate this program which means I get to make the poster :)
A little sticker design for Chester Bowl I completed the other day.
Sorry for the lack of posts real life has been hitting pretty hard lately!
This was a little warm-up exercise focused on layers, color and transparency. It was more fun than work! I was able to explore color combinations I normally would avoid.

After the flash floods that hit Duluth in late June there was a great deal of damage to repair. Chester Bowl recieved a large amount of damage due to the fact that Chester Creek runs right through the property and when it swelled it destroyed bridges, roads, ripped down trees and perhaps the most distressing it toppled the damn which held back our beloved pond.
The surrounding community banded together to rehabilitate the park the best it could. On June 25th, 480 some volunteers showed their support and helped clean the park. And again on July 2, 120 volunteers returned to complete more projects.
Despite the hard work of the community the park is far from being the same.
Above is a poster I created for the clean ups. It was mainly circulated via social media sites such as Facebook. There were a few prints put up in various locations around Chester Bowl.
I spent most of my day putzing. This poster I made highlights some of what I did.
I am entering in the Heck Of The North 100 mile mountain bike race. To enter one must send in a post card, rather than buy a card I decided to make my own. If you are interested in entering there is a random drawing of 150 lucky people who get to take part in the race. I hope I make it in!
Got the idea from an old Dick Nixon bumper sticker
