thinking about the space I could hold for video game history if I put my collection on better display

#its not huge but its the sentiment that counts #a collection of mainline consoles and an era appropriate tv or two #controllers for sure #definitely need to put the games back in their cases or put the booklets and covers on display maybe? that'll really fill up the space #this year I want to make a copy of all the third year games and that requires learning how to burn multiple games onto a disc #demo disc?#i have to make a demo disc

Adventure Game-ification of MC

Just thinking about the "Adventure Game-ification" of Minecraft, and how the more they add the further they get from the "make your own fun" vibes the earlier releases had.

I'm always excited when something new is added to MC fr fr but I feel like I don't stick with my worlds as much as I did 10-15 years ago.

Is it too late for me to build whatever I think is cool, without the chains of cringe burdening my shoulders.

Perchance I am too Old and Decrepit to commit to a forever world in MC now.

I have been away, and recovered nicely I think.

The main goal is to be creative somewhere that feels like it has lower stakes.

I hope to post more about video game development thoughts, especially after finishing a level 9 qualification where all I did was talk about video game archiving/preservation.
