I was watching a doc on how recycling isnt completely true, and how its actually the plastic companies that uses up with recycling so that they could make more money and stop people from complaining about plastic on the streets and the government was prevented from shutting them down. So recycling was pretty much a marketing scheme.

It reminded me of feminism, how a problem was created and we were sold feminism. Maybe it was to stop women from questioning how fucked the world is, how evil people are. And tell us that women and men can be equal, even in a patriarchal system. We werent liberated, we were just given a new standard to attain.

y’all can deadass blame Drew Afualo for me going full on terf and proud. i do NOT care anymore. how can you, as a cis woman, deadass get on the internet and say that you stand by the opinion that trans women have a “better and more beautiful understanding of womanhood than cis women do” and then call every cis woman a terf bitch who disagrees? it’s no shock to me that so many feminists and women are jumping ship. y’all continue to constantly go into spaces meant for women and throw misogyny in our faces. we can’t speak on sex based violence, our biology, our childhoods, pregnancy, periods, and now even our own womanhood without it being redefined, or us being told to shut up OR being called insecure or a “terf” / transphobic for recognizing that there are differences between trans and cis women. whether y’all like it or not biology and socialization play a huge part, a trans woman will NEVER understand womanhood from the perspective of a biological woman who was born and raised a female. that doesn’t meant they aren’t “women” but trying to pretend they have a “better understanding” of womanhood is flat out invalidating and misogynistic. period. why are we even comparing anyway? it’s like they are asking for a further divide. i could seriously rant about this forever, i even have screenshots, im just glad she blocked me or i would’ve been arguing in her comment section on tiktok for years. this was nothing but a great reminder as to why i keep my opinions on this topic to myself. i genuinely am so done dealing with braindead idiots like her who purposely dance around the point then fall back on misogynistic rhetoric to project this allyship persona. you’re NOT an ally to cis women: that’s for sure.

Hi, saw your post about femboys recently and while I definitely agree that a lot of MtFs do just dislike GNC people in general, I don't think that's the full story. I'm MtF and date men but don't "identify" as female or a woman or whatever, ideally femboy as a label would be nice. But unfortunately this group carries a lot of connotations wrt fetishism and misogyny. Right-wingers in particular (along with a large subset of self-described femboys) idealize them as basically sex objects that can be used in place of women while not actually being women. I feel that often femboys aren't really acting as gnc homosexuals or subverting gender at all but instead function as the next logical step in men's misogyny: the synthesis of tensions between their hateful depersonalization of women and their sexual desires for women and fetishization of femininity. I'll admit that I might be too generous in assigning some of the trans community's dislike of femboys to this tendency but I think on some level awareness of it is definitely present. Not to mention how often femboys tend to be VERY openly misogynistic and right-wing in a way that at least rivals and possibly surpasses MtFs. Anyway

i 100% agree with the sexualisation of femboys, i see similarities to the way that butches are sexualsied but i think with femboys it is exagerated because like you pointed out this idea of looking like a woman but not being one.

i cant speak to the right wing politics of femboys, i admit ive never seen this, apart from when right wingers joke about femboys and the like. although my social media feeds are catered against that sort of content so it wouldnt show up id have to actively search it.

tbh i dont really feel that femboys, even the ones actively sexualising themselves, are any more or less misognistic than most MTFs. i feel like this is kinda splitting hairs but both groups kinda reduce womanhood to an 'identity' or an 'aesthetic'.

if women are required/forced to be: pregnant, or subservient to men, to allow for a "family structure" and a birth rate that allows for the continuation of society, then this subjugation does not benefit all of humanity; it benefits men at the direct expense of women.

Women doing literally anything like having opinions, initiating anything, or even just being upset, etc, ESPECIALLY when poor, POC, gnc, and so on, can make them seem like "an agressor". I can understand the mindset and that men can have fear of these things, but so can women have these same fears, especially when the woman is used to abuse, being treated poorly, expected to be in the wrong constantly. Shes taught that people expect her to be angry and shes fucking fed up with it so she acts out in anger, forming her into a self fulfilling prophecy kinda thing. Socialization fucks people over, and when it doesnt work because you where too busy tryign to survive (or just not getting it) then people expect the worst because if youre not perfect, not expectation, and thus youre clearly horrible.

Susie's issues dont stem from her being a man, her issues stem from being abused and never having support. Her issues come from living in capitolism while being poor, maybe almost, if not actually, homeless. Her issues come from how people perceive her and actively associate her with everything people tell you to avoid when out ("dont give them money they're just gonna buy drugs.", "They'd be fine if they just went and got a job instead of begging.", SW, trafficking, Etc). She doesn't get opportunities other people do because many assume that all poor/homeless women are there because they got addicted to drugs, never got an education, and so on.

Just because a woman has issues a man might have, seems gnc, and is aggressive with a fear of agreasion, does not make her a man/tim.

All of the evidence you brought to the table can be summarised with: self worth issues, being GNC/not the beauty standard, and being labeled a "bad child" at a young age (which also adds to self worth issues ngl)

On that note of permission: you don't need to convince men to believe you. You don't need to debate them. They are not the omnipotent judges of what is Correct or Incorrect. Your beliefs do not need to pass through their approval before you're allowed to believe them. This is another part of female socialization, the teaching that we must engage all debate and convince every male to agree with us before our opinions and experiences are valid. You do not need to prove anything to them.
