a “bare face” is just your face. that’s your face. that’s what you look like. going out into the world looking how you look is not crazy or a wild concept. it’s so sad that wearing makeup has become so commonplace that many women think of their baseline appearance as looking how they do with makeup, and are repulsed by or insecure about their “bare face”. it’s like the made-up face is their neutral regular face, and their naked bare face is some secondary “other” altered appearance rather than the other way around. this is just sad.

Massive correlation between men who cross dress and/or trans and being sexual offenders according to Canada, US and EU prison study they did. I believe the Canada portion alone showed like 88% of sex offenders arrested and in prison currently were cross dressers and/or trans women.
My sincere belief is that allowing men to 1. hold power, and 2. maintain significant numbers is an active disservice to all women.
It is our moral obligation to lessen male numbers, keep them from forming groups and solidarity, and exclude them from holding positions of authority.
"this sounds terfy" of course it does: a woman is speaking and you don't want to listen to her
loving the trans activists who're reblogging this. even you people know you're intentionally silencing women because we're women.
thinking about the time i used to volunteer at homeless shelters in high-school. passing out food, sitting down for conversations, etc.
there were an overwhelming amount of men, and little to no women at all. there were no separate dormitories either.
i asked staff why this is at multiple places.
it's because there's such a high rate of sexual violence, sometimes just assault in general, threats of murder towards homeless women in these shelters, that they'd rather sleep outside, spend their time OUTSIDE. even in the freezing cold. and it gets really really cold where i am in wintertime.
when i finally found a woman in there, she told me that "it's more dangerous in here, than it is out there."
genuinely these people think that lesbian is a social club, an identifier of your social group and interests similar to identifiers like metalhead, skateboarder, etc. “you’re not a true metalhead if you don’t protect women when you’re moshing” “you’re not a true skateboarder if you don’t clean up your skate park”. these people do not see lesbianism as an inborn innate immutable trait, they see it as a social identifier, that can be identified into or out of at will, that grants you access to the social club of lesbianism. this is very clear when they accuser lesbians of “gate keeping” lesbianism, as if that’s even possible. you either are or you aren’t, regardless of who accepts you and believes you to be a lesbian.
i wish you people could just distinguish between behaviors you don’t personally like or approve of, with behaviors that are contradictory to one’s innate sexual orientation. just say you don’t like it when lesbians don’t support trans girls. but don’t say that lesbians who don’t support trans girls aren’t true lesbians. that’s fucking stupid and you look fucking stupid
whenever lesbians bring up the conversation of "genital preferences" & homosexuality, we usually get a gaslight-y, disingenuous response about it being "totally okay and valid (just don't be a transphobe)"
but when you examine what actual TIMs & TRAs say, it becomes very obvious that there is an elephant in the room. and it's coercive language. it's co-opting lesbian sexual terms, bringing morality, again, greatly coercive language & plain accusations of bigotry.
it's actually, a very common phenomenon. but when homosexual women bring this up, bring their experiences up... it's always: "this doesn't happen."
it does though.
& there is plenty of evidence out there.
wow i hate tiktok so bad. i really hope these people are trolling and just playing dumb, but something tells me they aren't playing...
“actually transgender people have existed throughout the whole history!” imagine if that was true.
imagine men being like guysss im actually a woman! so stop viewing me as a human. please burn me in a witch hunt. sell me in exchange for cattle. mutilate my genitals and bind my feet and stretch out my neck and put hot iron on my chest. yo come on can’t you see i’m a woman in a man’s body
being trans is totally natural and normal and not a mental health issue, but if left untreated without medical physical and mental health intervention we will all kill ourselves fucking expeditiously
am i the only one noticing the constant goalpost shifting that TRAs do?
"gender abolitionist" used to be the cool hip thing, that even hasan-i-hate-women-abi & vaush-i-fuck-horses-vidya (or just about any & every breadtuber) called themselves. just what, two-three years ago? gender being a social construct & the abolition of it used to be thee argument FOR TRAs.
but now it's somehow a terf dogwhistle?
AFAB & AMAB used to be completely acceptable language & even other TRAs used it in conversation.
but now it's a terf dogwhistle (that got me banned from a lesbian subreddit)?
& again, gender being a made up social construct used to mean that anything goes & you can transition and identify however you like, was the main argument!
but now, when i say "gender is a social construct", i'm dogwhistling to terfs & spouting transphobic rhetoric?
i know that language evolves & all, but this just looks like there is no clear ideology behind TRAs, and all that matters is controlling a narrative for one's favour.
the patriarchal re-writing of history is truly fascinating and affects everything you think you’ve ever known — the only way to combat this is to seek out women-authored intellectual works and re-learn our history from first principles
i recently learnt that many nuns were not the devout and chaste women that males would love us, and have continuously forced us, to be — and, for a non-trivial amount of women, being a nun had very little to do with submission to a male “God”
in many medieval and early modern European societies, women (and particularly lesbians) became nuns because it was one of the very few ways to escape marriage, (marital) rape, childbirth and a lifetime of exploitation by her husband — though, of course, the vast risks of male violence by religious men in the church remained
convents were one of the extremely rare places where women could access formal education and intellectual communities. here, women could learn how to read and write, and gain a broad education in theology, philosophy, music, languages, medicine and other areas
certain nuns, particularly abbesses of wealthy convents, had considerable authority which she could never have achieved in the outside world — including managing estates, controlling finances, and negotiating with political and religious authorities
in other words, it was more desirable for many women to pay a religious dowry and sell herself to “God”, than to pay a marital dowry and be sold by her family, and by society, to a man
of course, many convents were extremely abusive institutions, and the experiences of women differed greatly dependent on her social class and the historical period in question
however, it’s quite ironic that submitting to one of the most patriarchal institutions in society was one of the very few ways for some women to achieve a slither of intellectual, social and personal agency
What she said: “biological men shouldn’t be competing in women’s sports”
What The Telegraph said:
[regina george voice]: so you admit it. you admit that transwomen are just imitating females, NOT actually "feeling" like them and acting accordingly.
but in all seriousness, the systemic issues OP says make women "infantilize themselves" wouldn't apply to trans women, because they are male and have been raised, socialized, and treated as men...
